Smut readers and writers, I have a question. How do you feel about people that write about characters that are canonically minors in smut work?

Hey you were asking what ticks us off within smut fics we've read?

I've got one gripe- male catboy x fem!reader fics, specifically when they only use omegaverse/werewolf stuff as the base for it. Like guys... Male cats don't go into a 'heat' at all or 'ruts', they're just horny reacting to a horny Female 'Cat' who is trying to get laid/and-or pregnant. Not to mention how everyone claims it's a 'seasonal' thing that's planned out? That has never made sense to me, as cats can mate all year round really. They also don't use any of the signs to build up the fic like said catboy being more moody around people and having mood swings, roaming around aton, being very vocal about being on edge, heck even being territorial about things.

TLDR: I'm sick and tired of people who write male catboy smut content, and they just default to werewolf/omegaverse junk to explain said smut, without researching actual male cats and just figures it's the same when it's not.

First time talking about something from 2ish years ago. Why does some people that have mdni follow minors then? I don’t get it, and not to be offensive or anything. But it’s weird to me?
