Like any other ghost, Gel loves scaring people

Why Dr. Egon Spengler and Dr. Ray Stantz are one of my favourite ships in media:

- They're both autistic-coded.

- Their love language is eye contact.

- They are continually smirking at one another, even when the other Ghostbusters are rolling their eyes at them.

- They canonically live together in 'Ghostbusters II'. This is confirmed at the end of the movie by Winston, who turns to Egon when Ray is covered in positively-charged slime and says, "you gotta live with this" and Egon looks so proud, and responds with a genuine smirk.

- Egon's first instinct when all of the Ghostbusters are on the floor is to ask if Ray is okay.

- They communicate non-verbally the majority of the time, and they always understand what the other is saying.

- They are constantly smirking towards one another.

- They support the other's theories, and build on them together, even when Peter is taking the mick out of them.

I want a relationship like theirs. I love them so much.

Thank you to Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire for making it canon that the Ghostbusters actually did do a song and music video with Ray Parker Jr. as advertisement for their services.

I whole-heartedly believe that it was Janine's idea and she lost her mind watching Egon and Peter grumble about it while Ray and Winston have the time of their lives.

fortunately, ghostbusters; afterlife and ghostbusters; frozen empire are the best remakes of an intellectual property ever.

you cannot argue against me on this one. ghostbusters itself is already campy and cheesy and fucking great, obviously. it’s the perfect series for a 40 yrs later sequel.

it has the perfect amount of fan service (which i eat up every time), classic moments that i adore (oh no! i can’t hold the proton pack straight; the whole team has to grab on and help me!), and random new world lore just for the sake of lore (well the god wants to end humanity because he wants to)

plus they gave mckenna grace a lesbian ghost lover, what’s not to love
