finally set up my curtains that I've put off for years.... bought a dry-erase calendar that I color-coded.... bought hair/skin care... drank more than one cup of water

#I've been in a slump since may (all of the years of academic and social stress) and haven’t really been living ny life #I quit my job (it was getting pretty bad) and stopped talking to my friends (some who deserved it and some who didn't)#and I've pretty much been decaying in my house and doing stuff with my family #for the past month and a half #but today I talked to a good friend of mine and she is hanging out with me on wednesday #I put up my college decorations including a lot of wall art and these really pretty sage green curtains #and I drank A Lot of water #idk I'm starting to feel better the closer I get to going to college (exactly two months after today!)#I also am feeling myself change - like I can't tell if it's perspective or attitude - but I can feel myself just... chilling out?#I'm kind of uptight but I'm feeling myself relax the more I prepare for college (which may seem contradictory)#I finally accepted my grants/scholarships (finances have been a HUGE stressor)#and I spent about an hour familarizing myself with the school's database so I know where to go and what to do etc etc #I've procrastinated so much in my life that I didn’t realize how important scheduling and structure is to me #anyways I'm doing better. I'm going to be okay #kiya's ranting hours

pulling this up again bc in addition to aaaaaa bills for me, the human, it turns out I'm also gonna have aaaaaa bills for leslie, the cat! Normal ones, beast just needs his teeth cleaned, but he has Horrible teeth and will likely need x-rays and extractions. Last time that ran somewhere around $2,000, because of course it did aanything at all is helpful to either of these ends, a dollar or two or whathaveyou

I think my Kofi gets a little lost at times, so I went ahead and made a little gofundme to assist with my current predicament! The short of is: A very expensive panic attack! The longer of it is: I think covid went and made my anxiety way worse, kinda felt like I was dying, and unfortunately the only medical facilities open after 8 are the expensive ones (ER). Apparently I'm fine other than the fact my brain hates me and I now have a bill for about $1,800 haunting me SO, IF YOU'D LIKE...

#4 am bump #because the anxiety thing that is the cause of this gofundme in the first place likes to keep me up all night every other day or so #for the past month and a half #if u got to me about a commission bear w me this might be. a slow process #i only get to feel like a mostly functioning person a few days of the week at present

I know that the early, non-Diasomnia stories aren't really your thing, but are you reading the novels at all?

I have been following some of the fan translations and the second book seems intense! Would love to hear what you think about them.

thank you! 💚💚💚 I'm not really sure why you think I don't like the earlier arcs though, I love pretty much all the characters and their storis! (I think 5 and 1 are my favorite of the past episodes, though 6 infected me with the Shroud brainrot something fierce.) I just...ESPECIALLY love diasomnia. :') but there is room in my heart for all of these dweebs! like, who among us is not just as ride-or-die for Adeuce as they are for us.

that said, I don't really follow the other adaptations like the manga (aside from a dip-in just to see the new Yuus) or the novels, though I keep meaning to check them out! I do like seeing the differences between the different forms of media, and how certain things get adapted one way or another! but alas, time/a lack of accessibility stands in our way more often than not. :( someday...someday I will have time to consume all of the media...

hello!!! i was able to get all my bills paid for this month without overdrafting my bank account, which is amazing 🥹 but my rent is coming up and due on the first, i only have $5 in my bank account but i need $750 to pay rent 😭😭😭 im working my ass off on comms in the coming weeks, if anyone is interested in getting one in the meantime im extremely open! $80 for a single character and $120 for two characters!

and if you cant afford that and just want to throw a few bucks at me that's much appreciated too!!! anything helps at all, anything will help me not be severely overdrafted before my next (very small) paycheck hits on the first of january!
