Want some trans headcanons? Come and get them
Nightmare is a trans man. Because he is like over 500 and transitioned so long ago, he sometimes forgets he is trans till he sees an old photo of him and has to back track to remember that was him.
Dream is non-binary. They mostly use they/them, but really doesn't care what people call them. They dress both masc and fem, and Nightmare likes to tease them by calling them the opposite of what the stereotypical 'gender' of there clothes are (if they are wearing a dress, Nightmare will call them brother)
Ink is... Something. He uses he/him mostly, but is also good with they and it. As for gender, Ink will just look at you if you ask then give you a thumbs up
Error is agender and uses he/it. He will do the opposite of Ink, and if you ask, it will give you a thumbs down.
Killer is fluidflux. So one day he feels really like a boy, the next just a bit gender number, another a mix of everything. Killer mostly uses he/they, but could care less in all honesty. I also like the idea of Killer wearing a hijab sometimes.
Cross is transfem and bigender. Cross uses she/he. Nightmare makes it a point, when referring to his team, to say 'boys... And Cross's even though he doesn't need to. Cross will get dressed in pretty dresses... Before going on a mission for Nightmare and coming home covered in blood.
Dust is a trans man too, because I say so. The hoodie started off as a dysphoria hoodie, and now he will not take it off. Nightmare commonly helps Dust make sure he is not dying when he wears a binder, because Dust will forget to take it off so Nightmare will drag him away to take if off.
Hope you all enjoyed. Remember, you are valid <3 would love to hear your trans headcanons too!

@alex-the-alterhuman’s Alterhuman/Therian/Nonhuman Ask Game!!!
🌈 - how many _types do you have?
I have 4 otherkin identities (calico cat, Saint Bernard, wyvern, and a slitherwing), 2 link types (parrot, cryptid), and 1 hearttype (bat)!
🌌 - when was your awakening?
This year, only a few months ago!! I awakened as a cat/dog then, and only a week ago I awakened as a wyvern and slitherwing otherkin and bathearted
👾 - is your _type real or fictional?
most of my types are real, but my wyvern and slitherwing types are fictional
👽 - do you enjoy being a […] (therian, otherkin, ect. Just put your label here)
Not really. It’s kind of a burden, so I really just made this account to help me feel better about it
🧷 - what's the reason of your identity? You can say that you don't know. (Ex. "My theriantrophy is spiritual)
I’m mostly a psychological alterhuman with a little bit of spiritual mixed into that
💚 - what are your beliefs? Does it affect your identity?
I believe in an imperfect Mother Nature. What that means is that Mother Nature makes mistakes just like us. Doesn’t affect my identity too much but it does influence it to some extent
⚧️ - does your _type have a different gender/sex than you? Do you even know your _type's gender?
I don’t believe that my types have a gender/sex because they are mostly psychological
🧤 - do you own any gear? If yes, what is it?
Not very traditional, but I do have a small dragon in my room that I consider gear, as well as paw print earrings
🏳️‍🌈 - are you also a part of the LGBT+ community?
Yep! I’m queer oriented aroace and fluidflux (my gender both changes in intensity and is fluid between genders)
🌚 - do you experience shifts? If yes, what kind of shifts do you experience most often?
I mainly experience mental and phantom shifts, although my phantom shifts are usually tails
🌝 - how does your identity affect your everyday life?
It makes it harder to go about my life knowing that I’m different in more ways than one from my peers. My shifts are also just super annoying
💊 - is your _type more nocturnal or does it prefer daytime?
I don’t think my types are really fussed about it, but my cat type does enjoy nighttime more
🤖 - for how long do you know about your identity?
I knew something was up when I started watching comps of TikTok therians on YouTube (ik), but I truly knew after I got my first phantom tail shift to my cat type.
🍁 - do you think that you were born with your identity or has it "started" during your life?
They really just started. I’ve never felt like I was a cat/dog/wyvern/slitherwing until later in life
🧸 - does your _type affect your diet?
Nope! I can pretty much eat whatever without any kind of dysphoria
🛍️ - do you have alterhuman friends? If yes, in real life or in the internet?
None at all, but I’m always looking for some!!!
🍂 - what is your _type's natural territory/home?
Both my cat and dog types live at home, but my wyvern and slitherwing types live in the forest, as does my bat kith and my parrot and cryptid link types
😺 - is your _type an animal?
All of my types are some sort of animal, but I wouldn’t be opposed to linking a fictional character that’s a human

Shadowlesbian
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Official Flag (left), Original Flag (right)
An orientation term where your lesbian identity is affected by the fact:
One is transmasculine, a trans man, transneutral, nonbinary, or just not a woman (includes multigender and genderfluid/genderflux/fluidflux individuals), as one is either too dysphoric about being called a woman, experience a disconnection from traditional womanhood, and/or simply doesn’t identify as a woman or with womanhood. They may describe their attraction as any of the following: MLW; MLNB; MLX; NBLW; NBLNB; NBLX, etc – but they don’t identify their labels as WLW; WLNB; or WLX due to reasons listed above. With a multigender and/or genderfluid/genderflux/fluidflux identity, one feels not straight when with a woman and/or has a fluctuating level of dysphoria when they sometimes view their attraction as sapphic/lesbian in nature, or as WLW; WLNB; WLX. To express that disconnection, the prefix shadow- is used.
This term also includes those whose orientation is fluid and/or flux, who may not 100% identify with the label of lesbian; due to barely ever experiencing attraction to women (or attraction period), having an attraction to women that feels lesbian but also not, having an attraction to women that’s fluid between being queer and queern’t, and/or experiencing attractions under a lesbian/sapphic lens.
In simpler terms, a shadowlesbian may be defined as the following:
Being multigender and/or genderfluid/genderflux/fluidflux but never WLW, yet feeling like their attraction to women is gai/queer.
Being m-spec and not WLW, yet feeling a connection to the label.
Being too dysphoric about being called a woman/girl/being thought of as one, yet being either NBLW, MLW or XLW with a connection to the lesbian label.
Having a fluid/flux orientation where one’s not 100% a lesbian due to any reason, but retaining a connection to the lesbian label.
Simply feeling as if one’s lesbian, but also not.
.
This term was originally reposted on June 27th, 2022.
So years (July 19th 2020) ago I coined the Shadow- terms on my original mogai blog. Since then I’ve deleted that blog and one-half of the Shadow- terms do not have rebloggable posts out there, so I decided I’d repost the terms.
A while after (February 27th 2021) another tumblr user (@/thepokedexisgay) decided to make simpler alternate flags to these terms. I’ll be posting a link to their flags at the bottom of these posts.
I made the original flags based off of my original all inclusive lesbian/gay/vincian/etc. flags, and since I’ve remade those and posted them, I figured I’d remake the Shadow- flags as well, simplifying them and following the color schemes of my new flags. So yeah, some “official” flags for these terms.
That being said, I made the new Shadowlesbian flag based off of my Flowerbed Lesbian flag, so along with that if you ID as Shadowsapphic/ShadowQ4W or whoever else I mentioned could use the Flowerbed Lesbian flag, you can also use this flag if you feel your orientation is Shadow-.
(I’d prefer people use these flags as the official versions versus the originals, however if u personally like the other flags whether it’s Alois’s (thepokedexisgay) or the original ones, or feel like making your own based on an alternate lesbian/veldian/enbian/etc. flag, feel free to go on ahead.)
Yes, most of the definition in this post is ripped directly from the LGBTA wiki, with some changes to it due to my current knowledge of labels.
Here is the link to the Shadowlesbian flag made by @/thepokedexisgay, and here is the [link] to the Shadowlesbian page on the LGBTA wiki.

Hi! So happy you made this blog :)
I've been questioning my gender for over half a year, but only questioning it in phases where, at one point, I would be like "oh, yeah, there's NO way I could be anything other than a cis girl," and a few weeks later I'd go down the questioning spiral of "but do I actually *feel* like a woman? Hmm,"
I never notice a very obvious shift in my gender, and don't have any dysphoria aside from feeling like somethings just slighly... off, when I'm in the "am I cis" part of the phase. I experimented a little bit with dressing like a guy during that and was actually surprised at how euphoric it felt, but at the same time, I love being a woman and I feel it fits me well, at least two thirds of the time. The woman feeling is never really gone, it just, I guess, fades a little every so often while agender and maybe demiboy show up (at least, that's the best way I can describe it)
So, in short, I like my agab but sometimes feel like a boy, and I don't know if the feeling is strong enough to justify me not just saying I'm cis.
Thanks!!
-
Alrighty, so first off, disclaimer: if you feel like you’re not completely and exclusively your AGAB 100% of the time, you are entirely justified in saying you’re not totally cisgender. If you feel comfortable ID-ing as cis then that’s great! But if you don’t feel like that fits entirely you are absolutely allowed to ID as non-cis. Also, you don’t have to use any label if you don’t feel like any fit!
All that aside, here are some different labels that came to mind while reading through this:
Umbrella Term: Genderqueer (essentially any sort of gender experience that is not the “standard”)
More Specific Terms:
Genderfluid (gender changes over time)
Fluidflux (gender fluctuates and changes over time)
Demifluid (part of your gender is static/doesn’t change and another part of your gender does change/is fluid)
Demiflux (part of your gender is static/doesn’t change change and another part of your gender fluctuates)
Demifluix aka demifluidflux (part of your gender is static/doesn’t change and another of part of your gender changes/is fluid and fluctuates)
Bigender (Identifying as 2 genders, either at the same time or varying between the two)
Bigenderflux (Identifying as 2 genders that both fluctuate in intensity; there is a better explanation with examples if you go to the link!)
^^There is also trigenderflux aka triflux which is essentially the same but with 3 genders instead of 2.
Those were the main ones that I thought of, and all the labels have links to a wiki that describes them in more detail! I’d recommend looking through the links, especially if any of them stick out to you /nf. If anyone knows any other labels, feel free to add on!
I wish you luck on your journey with your gender, wherever it might take you! Keep in mind that it’s perfectly fine to change labels over time, be unlabeled, use multiple labels, or be unsure. You should always go with whatever feels right to you!

Note
Fluidflux culture is realizing that one small part of you is boygirl-/girlboyfluix while being from the root of it all also pxnfluix. And not knowing if you have any, two or all the genders a certain day and when that changes. Also the same culture is having your gender in fluid and fluctuating state in a micro-fluix way and you don't properly even realize it has changed before dysphoria hits you like a train.

Gender (and identity in general) can change! My identity has changed a lot through my life
I used to be ace and demiro (among other labels), now I'm fully aroace. I don't feel romantic attraction anymore
I also used to be straight or m-spec (I had a crush on someone who turned out to be a man but was a girl at the time, so I'm not counting it as strictly gay or straight)
I've always been some sort of trans as in I've had dysphoria since I hit puberty, but before realizing that dysphoria I genuinely was a cis girl
Then I was a demigirl, a vaguegirl who also used the term neurogender, then a neurogender woman as the other labels stopped fitting, and I went back to identifying as cis
A while later I discovered I was a non-binary girl. I was simultaneously 100% a girl and 100% non-binary
I started identifying as genderfluid, from non-binary to woman, although most of the time I was somewhere in the middle. I only felt fully cis and binary once for a few minutes
I've also used a few xenogenders. Most of the time I'd identify with the ones that were related to vague or faint genders, but sometimes I felt my gender particularly strongly and I'd use one about warmth, in addition to non-binary and/or female.
I don't remember if I ever used the fluidflux label because the xenogenders were kinda on their own axis that only vaguely affected the nonbinary-to-woman axis
But then I stopped being a woman, and I was just non-binary. I stopped using xenogenders as well. My gender stopped being fluid and I was now agender, along with a bunch of microlabels
My gender keeps shifting ever so slightly, and I stopped using microlabels because the more specific a label is, the more likely it is that it won't fit anymore after a few days
So now I'm an aroace non-binary person (+ a few other labels that are subject to change), when I started out as a straight ace girl (who simultaneously was and wasn't a girl)
some people always knew they were trans. others can look back and realize they always felt trans in some way, even if they didn't know.
some were content with their assigned gender, until they weren't. others genuinely were trans, until they weren't.
some people chose to be trans, or see part of their transness as a choice. others thought they were trans, but weren't.
some identified as trans, but terms like cis nonbinary fit them better. others are unlabeled, even if they could identify as trans.
some people's identity change a lot, whether they're questioning, genderfluid, or struggle with identity.
all of these people's experience of gender are equally beautiful and real. gender doesn't have to be this (universally) innate quality for our thoughts, feelings, actions, and identities to matter. for us all to have the right to be treated as who we are, and be afforded bodily autonomy as such. gender means something different to everyone. that's okay. that's beautiful.

(Heads up that I’m planning to redo my intro post soon. It may take me a while to complete though.)
Name Collection: June/Penny/Hunter/Moth/Gabriel/Trixie/Ace/Aro/Peachie/Pear/Sapphy/Sky/Tempest/Luna/Sunny/Celeste (This isn't my full collection, just what I'm most comfortable sharing. Know this will be forever changing, but I will try to update it when I can. I'm trying these out, so please bear with me here.)
Pronouns: He/They/Xe/Fae/Doe/Fawn/Pup/Cat/Bun/Crow/Star/Cloud/Luna/Night-Nocturne/Pear/Peach/Honey/Rose/Aro/Ace/Imp/Moo/Berry/Shark/Void/Chaos
Preferred Terms: My preferred honorifics are Mx. (pronounced mix) and Mistrum. I am most comfortable being called Boy/Girl/Enbian/Xenbian. I prefer not to be called Dude or Bro. Calling me A dude is ok, it just feels different for me.
Alterhuman: I am questioning whether I’m Alterhuman in some way but am having trouble finding info on alterhuman identities that aren’t Therian and Otherkin. Currently I identify as demihuman and Copinglink. Personally, I feel that a lot of my relation to being alterhuman is trauma related, but I’ve always felt a connection to being nonhuman from a young age, so it’s hard to pinpoint where one begins and the other ends. I do experience species dysphoria on some level, I think, and I do identify with some aldernic terms that my dysphoria relates to. I am still new to alterhuman identities and other labels related to that, so this is subject to a lot of possible updates in the future. I’m not sure if I want to keep up with my alterhuman identities on here.
Gender: I currently identify as Rozurfluid, Genderfloren, Genderslyphen, and Fluidflux for the most part. I am usually multigendered and ID with the term boygirl as well. I am more comfortable IDing as a Nonbinary Boy and Nonbinary Girl than using the terms Man or Woman for myself. I do consider myself on the Agender spectrum and identify a lot of my girl-aligned genders with being more agender-aligned. I have been considering using the term Gxrl for that reason. My boy-aligned and girl-aligned genders do not always feel masc or fem-aligned in the typical ways, and I feel like a fem-aligned boy and a masc-aligned girl usually. I usually ID as a Rosboy and an Azurgirl at the same time. I am also Aprogenderspec and at times feel full of gender but removed from most other gender alignments. This could fall under Anonbinary, as well as my xenogenders, but I am exploring that label a bit more before I fully identify with it. I also collect a lot of xenogenders but will not be keeping up with those on here. I typically consider myself to be androgynous in some way, shape, or form since I feel a weird mixture of genders, lack of gender, and fem/masc-alignments at the same time (the exact mixture changes sometimes also.) My NDs do affect my gender a lot, so I do ID as Nuerogender as well. This also goes into why I ID as Traitblur, being that my personality also affects my genders a lot (most specifically my xenogenders.) I am considering identifying as abrogender as well because I relate to the term a lot, but either way, I will still identify with the other terms I have been identifying with.
Mspec Orietation: I am Mspec and ID as both Bi and Pan because I feel a connection to both terms personally. I am a questioning Abrospec as well and am still trying to figure out that part of myself atm. Because of my multigenderedness, I ID with the terms DiamSapphillean, Achilligirl/Turigirl, and Sapphboy as well.
AroAcespec Orientation: I am on the Aspectrum and am a Partnering, Heartless Romo Arolovic AroAce. I am Romo favorable, Sex Ambivalent, Touch Ambivalent, Platonic Ambivalent/Favorable, and QPL favorable. I Also ID as a Grey-AroAce/Angled AroAce/AroAcespec and do experience some romantic and sexual attraction, though neither are typical attraction and are very hard for me to discern from platonic or aesthetic attraction, etc. at times. My relationship with attraction is very complicated, so I mostly ID as AroAcefucked-weird. I am also AroAceflux and both fluctuate between Aspec identities and from Allospec to Aspec (I am not sure I ever feel fully Allo however.) At times I feel DemiAroAce or ReciproAroAce and do consider myself on those spectrum at times. I ID as CupioAroAce and BambiSapphic AroAce as well.
Tertiary Orientations: I am still questioning on most of my tertiary attractions, but I have been thinking more about it lately. Currently I ID as Pan-Platonic/Pan-QPL but am questioning Omni-Platonic/QPL as well. I also ID as Pan-Aesthetic. I am also questioning whether I am on the Aplatonic Spectrum as well because I have a complicated relationship with the platonic attraction and referring to others as my “friends.” Atm I am questioning if I am Demiplatonic or ReciproPlatonic or Aplatonicflux? I mostly ID as Pan/Omni Sensual (I’m still questioning on which one,) but I do think I’m on the Asensual spectrum. I feel like I mostly fluctuate between Orhcidsensual/Cupiosensual/Demisensual/Asensualflux?
Relashionship Orientation: I ID with relationship orientations more than lifestyle, and I will admit that I have little relationship experience outside of my current one and have never had multiple partners before, so my polyam orientation is mostly in theory and still have a lot of things to sort out life-wise. I currently ID as Ambiamflux and PolyAffectionate. I am open to QPRs and am considering being open to other relationship types like Soft Romo relationships or Waverships.
Disabilities: I am not sure how many physical disabilities and neurodivergencies I have, but I will list these: Autism, ADHD, OCD(idk what types,) Severe Generalized Anxiety(I don't remember if Social Anxiety is a diagnosis,) and Depression, and multiple Phobias(phobias like thalassophobia for example, I'm not going to list all of my phobias.) I also have 8+ Allergies, including food allergies, Polyarthritis, TMJ, and PMDD. I also have Parasomnia. I'm not sure what exact sleep disorder I have, but based off of my symptoms, I definitely have one. There are other disorders I am trying to figure out if I have them or not, but I am unable currently. I was not properly informed about my diagnosis and was diagnosed young for some of these, so I do not know exactly what I have and may also have undiagnosed disorders.

Note
Mod mentioned dysphorifluid/flux in the pinned post and I'm curious to know what that is because I've never heard that term before but it sounds like something that would be more accurate to me than full-on dysphoric
Dysphorifluid/fluid dysphoria: when what you’re dysphoric about changes frequently. Ex: being dysphoric about masc things one day and then dysphoric about fem things the next day.
Dysphoriflux/fluctuating dysphoria: when the intensity of your dysphoria changes frequently. Ex: having low/no dysphoria and then a couple hours later feeling very very dysphoric over the same thing.
You can also be both of those things! It’s called dysphorifluix/dysphorifluidflux and refers to someone whose dysphoria changes in focus and intensity.

Somedays my gender is like "Cage of Bones" by Son Lux
Somedays my gender is like "Long Lost" by Lord Huron
Somedays my gender is like "Cosmic Love" by Florence and the Machine
Somedays it's "For the Dancing and The Dreaming" by Peter and Eveynn Hollens
It's "Meet me in the City" Lord Huron, it's "Bad Wolf" by Awolnation, "Carnivore" by Starset and I can't express how much fun it is to wear outfits inspired by those songs on days when that damned dysphoria creeps in.

Official Flag (left), Original Flag (right)
An orientation term where your straight identity is affected by the fact:
One is transmasculine, a trans man, transneutral, nonbinary, or just not a woman (includes multigender and genderfluid/genderflux/fluidflux individuals), as one is either too dysphoric about being called a woman, experience a disconnection from traditional womanhood, and/or simply doesn’t identify as a woman or with womanhood. They may describe their attraction as any of the following: MLM; MLNB; MLX; NBLM; NBLNB; NBLX, etc – but they don’t identify their labels as WLM; WLNB; WLX due to reasons listed above. With a multigender and/or genderfluid/genderflux/fluidflux identity, one feels straight when with a man and/or has a fluctuating level of dysphoria when they sometimes view their attraction as strayt/julietian in nature, or as WLM. To express that disconnection, the prefix shadow- is used.

So yeah, some “official” flags for these terms.
That being said, I made the new Shadowstraight flag based off of my Canyon Queerhet flag, so along with that if you ID as Shadowstrayt/ShadowNQ4G or whoever else I mentioned could use the Canyon Queerhet flag, you can also use this flag if you feel your orientation is Shadow-.
Here is the link to the Shadowstraight flag made by @/thepokedexisgay, and here is the [link] to the Shadowstraight page on the LGBTA wiki.
