Okay, so this one time, when both me and Jade were walking down the stairs at NRC to get to our next class, he actually tripped. Calm, composed Jade actually tripped! I couldn't stop laughing for hours. I never expected my own brother, who rarely ever makes mistakes, to just suddenly trip. Of course, he pulled me down with him, but I was still laughing so hard. i'm sorry guys you know he's obviously changed and over the course of the story he's gotten more likeable to me but for SOME REASON when we met azul in book 3 and he kept talking with his corny villain dialogue + using that dumb ass creepy smile sprite it just always UGHHHHH IDK!! when they explained his backstory at the end of the book and said he was bullied and all i started headcanoning that the way he coped through allat was by falling down the alt-right pipeline of male manipulator/incelcore music.. my bad yall.. he looks like a stereotypical weezer/the smiths/pixies/radiohead/deftones fan who goes on reddit or 4chan and quizzes women about the bands and calls them a fake fan if they say they like one of their popular songs. AGAIN like i said he got character development he changed and DEF would not do that at this point in the story, but erm....... -a radiohead stan

Now ngl trying to think of what music Floyd would like was kind of hard for me. he (as a character) is kind of all over the place but then I realized.. his music taste is probably all over the place too. i think if he were to describe what he liked to anyone he'd probably say sum shit along the lines of "whatever sounds good." though, he spends a lot of time at the basketball club with ace (and jamil too BUT WE NOT SPOILING MY SCARABIA HCS YET) so like what I said for ace, you'd probably see a whole lot of carti, eminem, etc on his spotify wrapped. I will say though, I headcanon that when Floyd likes a song, he will run it to the ground until it is dead, decomposing, and fertilizing another plant. sometimes he'll not even like a song like that anymore but he's been annoying his brother and Azul with it for so long that he'll continue to play it because he likes irritating them.

I think jade would have the more defined music taste out of everyone in Octavinelle. he'd probably enjoy listening to genres such as post-punk, alternative rock, and borderline gothic rock in his airpods while he's cleaning the tables of the Mostro Lounge when work's over. him and azul would probably bond over both liking The Smiths and the Pixies, but I really think Jade's favorites would be bands like Joy Division, Talking Heads, The Cure, and I also think he'd be another Radiohead fan. (we got a lot of male manipulators in this house /hj) He's the type to carefully curate his playlists, add fitting cover photos and make a list of all the albums he's listened to, and scoff at his brother's 300+ unorganized liked songs list on spotify.

Steph/Poe is not being ‘harrassed’, they are just butthurt that their toxic behavior has been exposed and called out publicly. Sending death and rape threats are no joke and are serious. I wanted to originally keep this behind scenes, but it has blown up as of late. So, I decided to post it on main to clear some things up. None of the information below is fabricated.

Viewer discretion is advised.

Contrary to what some people may be telling you; no, I am not lying, yes, I have evidence, and I have several sources to back me up on this. None of this is fabricated, I am not spreading rumors.

Back in January, a good friend of mine messaged me one day saying that they had something to tell me. Their message entailed to me that a mutual roleplay partner (@/xknightcorex) we had was doing some things that were clearly not okay. I am going to provide examples, since some people think I’m a liar.

Below (middle and left): screenshots provided from said friend, picturing one of Steph/Poe’s now deleted side RP blog for Divus Crewel.

Below (right): screenshot provided also from said friend of twisted wonderland characters depicted in suggestive outfits.

For context, Professor Crewel in the TWST (twisted wonderland) world is an adult. Most of the other characters in the TWST universe are minors, usually ranging from 16-18. I know technically 18 is an “adult”, but still.

So, picturing said characters in suggestive fashion (like seen above) is a little weird, no?

Also, I was not the only one made aware of this, as seen here. These screenshots below are messages that my friend had with another mutual friend on this issue.

(Screenshots provided from a friend): Here, a friend of mine had to deal with Steph/Poe after they were caught. They went on anon and, as you can see, tried to gain sympathy for what they were doing. It did not work.

They also showcased some narcissistic behavior. I’m sure this is not all of it, but these are the screenshots that I have.

Please, stop trying to gain sympathy where it is not due. Maybe instead of venting to the internet, go see a therapist, genuinely.

Before I finish this up, I just want to say that I would NEVER, EVER spread a rumor of this level and not have evidence to back it up. Incest is fucking disgusting. I have a twin brother of my own. Ped0ph1lia is disgusting, I know, I am a survivor of multiple occurrences of CSA from adults.

Steph/Poe, if you somehow see this, then I’m sorry our friendship fell out. I’m not harassing you, I’m making people aware of your behavior. I have never harassed anyone before, and I never will. You. Are not. The victim. Don’t use the excuse “I’m human” to bypass this. I get it, we all make mistakes, but this is a pretty grand one. HOW HE REACTS WHEN YOU SEND THE FORM LINK

You poor, poor unfortunate soul... Jade is always two (or even three, on occasion) steps ahead of you. It can't be helped, his perception skill is maxed out at this point, so attempting to hide things from him is quite the difficult endeavor.

The thing is, he's known for a few weeks now that you were planning to send him the form.

Yes, he could have let you know about it, or at least dropped a few hints if he was feeling a little merciful, but he chose to keep his mouth shut because, well, it seemed more fun that way.

You watched a few videos about it around him that one day, and a few days later you were typing up questions on your notes app. It was easy to put two and two together at that point.

"Hm? If there was something you were curious about, you could have just asked me," Jade laughs, "but I'll answer this form to the best of my abilities."

Just as he had his fun hiding his knowledge from you, Jade lets you have your fun too since he thinks it's cute—rather, he thinks you're being cute.

He pretends to be surprised when you send him the link, and he keeps up the act for a long, long time.

Jade mostly answers the questions in a teasing, joking manner, but you can tell that his answers aren't lies either. There's some genuineness hidden in there somewhere, though he leaves it up to you to detect it.

HOW HE ANSWERS THE QUESTIONS

He finally lets it slip that he's known all along that you were going to send him a form, that it was just a matter of "when" for him.

He lives to hear and see your reactions, they truly never fail to bring him joy.

It doesn't really matter whether you're completely flustered and aghast at the revelation, whether you admit you had a feeling he eventually figured it out, or whether you're getting embarrassed and mad at him for keeping it a secret.

It's endearing to him no matter what, so it was worth it to not spill the beans too early.

"So now that I've completed the form, aren't you going to do anything with the information I've provided?" Jade inquires. If you listen to him carefully, you'll be able to hear the anticipation in his voice. Is he poking fun at you? Partially, but he does want to see where this goes all the same. "Or would you like me to be the one to approach you this time?

HOW HE REACTS WHEN YOU SEND THE FORM LINK

The thing is... You didn't plan on sending it to Floyd. At least, certainly not that form. It was meant for his brother, not him!

Jade said he'd give you the advice you needed and to just ask away, but finding the time (and having the privacy) to do so was difficult on both of your parts, so a form realistically seemed like a good idea at first.

After all, it's not like Floyd's going to have any interest in what looks like a regular survey for school of all things. Jade could just lie, too, if pressed about it, and Floyd would lose his interest eventually.

That was not what happened.

In Jade's defense, he really did mean to answer it, but he was smiling a little too much at the questions you chose to ask and Floyd got curious and asked about what was so interesting for him to smile like that.

Jade admits (well, he thinks about it for a second, not necessarily with reluctance but rather how to phrase it) that you sent him something funny.

Floyd is not happy, oops. That's the person he likes! What is Jade doing talking to you? What are you doing sending something funny to Jade without sending it to him, too?!

FLOYD: HEY!! What's this about? Why are you sending Jade things that you're not sending me? What gives??? FLOYD: hey FLOYD: 💢 FLOYD: 👿 FLOYD: 🤬 FLOYD: Answer my calls FLOYD: I'm going to get the reason behind this outta you

Floyd's complaining to you, spamming you through text and sending you missed calls, as if to catch you attention one way or another.

Floyd also gets Jade to send him the form. It's partially to satiate Floyd a little bit, for both Jade's sake and yours, but also because he thinks it would be fun to watch Floyd react to it in real time. He thinks it's especially fun when you eventually pick up one of his calls.

At first, he doesn't think there's a point in typing down his answers, he can just tell you everything he needs to? What's the point of answering something so lousy? But the more he thinks about it, especially with how you're repeatedly telling him that he really does not need to answer or even open it at all, the more he wants to answer.

Really, he just likes you that much that he's willing to answer something kind of weird!

If it's not obvious to you yet, Floyd definitely likes you back.

Actually, he tells you a few times in the call you're on with him, so much so that you may have to tell him that you get the point with how much he tells you (in various, unique ways)

He's also talking as if the two of you are already together (neither have you have actually asked, but the both of you have confessed already so...)

He's also excitedly talking about all the dates you can go on (and how he's very happy to go hangout with and go on fun and cute dates with you instead of boring stuff like... attending classes, or doing schoolwork, or chores)

It's difficult to not be affected as well. Floyd's joy is very infectious, after all!

Actually, he's so happy that he wants to celebrate your new relationship with you right this instant!

"Where are you right now, shrimpy?" Floyd asks. Even without straining your ears, you'll be able to hear the slamming of the door and the sound of his footsteps. "I'm in the mood to go on a date right now!"

[ 1 ] Figuring out Floyd's typing style is so hard. I partially used his Valentines card for reference, very straight to the point and not particularly flowery, but added some emojis here and there and some playfulness to make it more fun. I wondered if he should have more spelling errors or type in lowercase, but I think he has auto caps on by default lol

[ 2 ] While it's not explicitly stated, there is the implication that Floyd's reader might be the prefect due to the shrimp nickname. Honestly just went with it since it's a good catch-all term for the reader, so feel free to imagine otherwise!

I really love your rock musician MC headcanons. Now I would like to imagine what would happen if the rest of the Yandere boys find out about their secret hobby. I imagined that MC is passionate about their music and wants to make it big as an alt rock singer one day but they feel like they aren’t ready to show their talent to anyone. One scenario I could think of is when the Octotrio heard them singing passionately in the night at Ramshackle and they offer them to sing at the lounge since they became entranced by MC’s voice. Azul I imagined must be interested in taking away MCs voice, Jade intrigued that the shy MC he knew secretly loves punk rock music while Floyd is just excited about Shrimpy’s little hobby. Another one is when Cater took notice of their musical talent and records it. Then offers MC to join the light music club or something.

since your voice is gone, you'll have to act or write down what you want/need. but the think about Azul is that he loves his control over you. if you need something you better show him. don't forget to show him how grateful you are to him.

when jade told Azul about his discovery, he demanded that he has first say on what will they do with you. he was the one that found you and that is fair. of course the other two will get their turn but he just gets you first. its only fair~

lets be honest, jade is sadistic. he'd wants you to struggle a little, with a voice like yours, he doesn't want you to stop talking so maybe he'll put you under a spell? like one that makes you repeat stuff like an echo? or maybe a spell that makes you speak in riddles? imagine all the pretty lines you say.

he would love to play with you for either one of those chooses.

if he picked the echo, he'll probably trick you to saying stuff you would never say. like how he's your favorite or that you hate the others. he would love to have you beside him, with your friends and you repeat some hurtful likes to the people you hold so dear. watching them leave as you look at him and them and him again. even who you cant say what actually on your mind, your eyes say other wise. your eyes, plead, begging him to say something to have your friends come back. to tell them its not true and you love and care for them so much. only to stare at his grin, watching your friends leaving you alone with him.

if he picked the riddles, he would love to have you on his nature trips. alone with his mushrooms fan, he would love to hear you describe mushrooms with that pretty little tongue of yours. but what's the catch? why would you help him with his weird mushroom obsessions. well maybe he'll help you with something else? if you help him, he'll give back your voice and let you sing your heart out like you were a bird being set free. will he give it back? no. he'll come up with an excuse and say "cause you need pronounces it right" Jade will also give you that stupid grin when he's knows that you have little to no control in his situation but still loves playing these games with you.

to be completely honest, he didn't really care about it in the beginning. it was pretty boring to him at first. like so what? you can sing. everyone can sing, its just wheatear you are good at it or not. but even if you were, its not as exciting as hearing, for example, you can fight and you did fight clubs. it was a boring hobby, to Floyd at least.

but oh boy did that change when he hear you! and you know how to play an instrument, you just nailed your coffin. he would want you to play for him and watch him dance.

when he isn't in the mood and just wants you to sing for him, he doesn't care what you're doing. he will find you and will make you sing for him. in the middle of class? apparently the headmaster needs you. you're eating lunch with your friends? he'll just come up and carry you away. oh! if you're hiding/avoiding/telling your friends to help you to stay away from him? oh... good luck.

how he treats you compared to the other two is somewhat normal, well as normal as Floyd's moods can be, but- don't you dare even talking to anyone. your voice is too good for anyone to just hear you speak. plus you cant share all the stuff he warned you about.

don't worry, he'll speak for you. why should you let him do this?

if you don't follow this one tiny rule? let say, he doesn't want to hurt your throat but he'll gladly rip out the other person's throat. he wont mind either. he'll even have you watch. he'll also have you clean him up after wards, its not his fault that this happened. it was all your fault, if only you didn't open your mouth, telling people about your little secrets.

Floyd is many things, unpredictable, sadistic, but he's also not-human. Untamable. he would want to hear your voice in more intimate ways. he won't care when or where you are, he will find you and hear your voice.

oh shrimpy :((( he feels the same way as jade, but floyd if a little more violent about it. why would someone, let alone a father, do that to his own child? you were barely in elementary school, only 6 years old. the way he touched you, hit you, spoke to you, floyd promises that your father will never lay hands on you like that ever again. floyd also isn't too great at comforting, but his hugs (life threatening squeezes) make up for what he has to say. it doesn't matter where you are, he'd hug you and let you cry into his shoulder for as long as you need. he won't let go until he's positive you feel better, which won't be for a few hours... or it might just turn into a sleepover of cuddling into each other.

twst characters: idols

who knew you could have so many shower thoughts! i was listening to some music when i began to trail off and think about how the twisted wonderland cast would be as idols. so here’s another shower thought post.

for reference, we are going with each dorm being its own idol group/act that is under one company, nrc. you just happen to be the new manager of all these groups.

NRC STAFF

the senior group. they’re the super juniors of nrc. except for mozus who’s their manager. dire crowley is the member that’s appeared the least on variety shows after the group called for retirement. no doubt the visuals used to be sam and divus. ashton joined after their debut and even though he was older, he was still considered the baby of the group. nowadays they all specialize in helping train new idols and trainees.

DIASOMNIA

diasomnia is the idol group that everyone forgets is an idol group. rather, they’re a band instead similar to day6 and the rose. their music takes direct inspiration from rock. their key visual and leader is malleus draconia, who also is the lead vocalist in the band. lilia vanrouge is the eccentric guitarist who’s bat themed fashion has taken over the alt space. younger members sebek zigvolt and silver occupy the drums and keyboard interchangably. it has stirred a lot of debate within the fandom over who is better at which instrument.

HEARTSLABYUL

heartslabyul is probably nrc’s newest and coolest group. currently they have a pop sound but their leader riddle rosehearts has expressed he wants to branch into different sounds later on in their career. heartslabyul is probably the most idol group out there. all members are trained in singing and dancing. they sound like current day bts. trey clover is their primary songwriter and music producer. cater diamond is seen as the visual of the group and he’s also the most active on social media and hosts the most lives. younger members ace trappola and deuce spade are vocalists and both are treated as the maknae of the group. it’s also very humorous to watch them not get along.

POMEFIORE

pomefiore is a powerhouse of a group. not only are they all beautiful but they’re all extremely talented. all of them are triple threats. pomefiore’s music leans more towards a bubblegum pop sound with a mature undertone. despite being a music group, each individual member has branched into separate solo careers. vil schoenheit, while an amazing singer with immense charisma, is an actor and has been cited to be BETTER as an actor. rook hunt became qualified for being a national archer and is expected to participate in the next olympics. epel felmier has started a career as a social media influencer and a model. some people have criticized that pomefiore is more like a collaboration between soloists than it is a group.

SAVANACLAW

savanaclaw is quite similar to diasomnia in that it’s more of a band than an idol group. the group specializes in pop punk music (sometimes dipping their toes in emo) and due to their similarities, the fandoms of savanaclaw and diasomnia clash about which group is the better one. leona kingscholar is their extremely talented songwriter and singer who plays the guitar. he’s a ladies’ man and women go wild over him. ruggie bucchi is tech savvy and the bassist for the band, often hosting lives in order to let the fans get to know the band more. he is a popular idol due to being transparent about his origins which makes him more relatable. jack howl, the youngest member, is a talented drummer who was rejected by multiple companies before being taken in by nrc.

OCTAVINELLE

octavinelle is a group that puts a new spin on jazz. the smooth songs are songs that everyone can fall asleep too not to mention they’re also really long. octavinelle has the famous leech twins jade and floyd. floyd’s instrument of choice differs depending on his mood but he does specialize in the drums and is very good at it. sometimes he even collaborates with the scarabia duo. jade has been a prodigy in the saxophone since he was a child. the way he can hold air in his lungs is truly amazing. azul ashengrotto is their poster boy and the singer of the band. he truly has a smooth, amazing voice and a charm that a lot of people cannot ignore.

SCARABIA

scarabia is a duo group that stands out for their colorful music videos and their very pop sound and the fact that they’re unapologetic with leaning into their female fanbase. they’re also known as the best dancers in nrc. kalim al-asim is a particularly extremely talented dancer who seems to have an unlimited amount of stamina. how he sings and dances so intensely is truly incomprehensible. jamil viper writes the songs and choreographs the dances but usually will take suggestions from kalim.

IGNIHYDE

ignihyde is a one man show. idia shroud is a soloist and he takes his younger brother ortho with him everywhere to help ease his anxiety. his music is known to be more electronic than pop centric. nevertheless, he’s quite popular due to his shyness. there’s not a lot of information out there and the mystique only adds to the number of fans.
