#maccadam #transformers #prowl #tf prowl #there is no Prowl in Tfp so Optimus can pull all kinds of heroic cartoonish bullshit #and only Ratchet actually calls him out on it #but Ratchet also kinda has soft spot for Optimus #Op does sad eyes and Ratchet is like okay okay sorry I understand #Prowl would see the whole situation and lose his marbles immediately ahahahah #lol hey hey you. two people who read tags. imagine little au realquick #Autobots find the escape pod with Smokescreen right #but there’s two bots instead of one #back on the base humans look at the new guys and like #Smokey is fun and energetic and eager for heroism and adventure #and then there’s Prowl. The final boss. The ultimate MOM.#He makes one step into base and immediately starts scolding Optimus and everyone except for Ratchet #agent Fowler listens to him talking and decides that Prowl is his favorite autobot #damn. Prowl would SO not approve keeping humans around. Kids would hate him #but also he would be completely right. Because by keeping humans that close Autobots basically show that the humans can be used as leverage #against them you know.#He would immediately suggest getting rid of kids and hiring actual competent adults instead. So all hacking can be done by professionals #and all infiltrating can be done by people who are at least old enough to drink you know #yea kids would haaaate him so much #he would also build make all kinds of little annoying gadgets bc I have read Covenant of Primus and tfp Prowl is smart like that #he would be going around sticking trackers on every enemy he fights #and then triangulating Cons positions by the coordinates where their signals stop tracking #bc Nemesis blocks them #He would also keep sending Smokey to ghost through walls and steal all kinds of valuable shit from Megsy #they would be such a menace together #man this is getting kinda long I should probably stop

Recent life photos

#photo diary #image 1 & 2 - of course these are just cloud images. But a cool pattern of them :0 #3 - another word count of game writing... aargh... Still debating about like allowing other people into the game discord or how early #in the process one should do that.. but social things are just so difficult for me lol.. I shall always suffer for my lack of networking an #self promotion skills. 4 - I was forced to get a new phone a few months ago because my beloved phone of like 10 years finally #broke too much. and I always like to go through the emojis and make a little memo with all my favorites. yaay little pictures of things.#5 - I FINALLY finished all the dictionary entries for the game (which has a little dictionary feature in the player's journal to note #any specific terms and keep track of them (like what 'jhevona' or 'avirre'thel' means. or to remember that the world is called Nanyevimi #and the country they're in is Asen. etc. etc.)). There are 75 defined terms so far and it took me a while to do so out of curiosity I put #all the text into a wordcounter thing and lol.. 8000 words isnt that much I guess but the 30 minute reading time is funny to me. 30 minutes #for my little tiny dictionary panel in my quaint little casual visual novel which is not even lore heavy at all. hee hee (though that's mor #like a minute here and there since obv people are not unlocking every term all at once. you complete the dictionary as you talk to people #and hear them mention new concepts over time.).. ANYWAY..#6 - a very soft and beautiful stuffed animal that I did not buy but wanted to at least document their charm.#7 - stimky boye waiting in front of his favorite straw meowring screaming for someone to play with him (he likes to chase the #straw around). 8 - matcha bubble tea my beloved. 9 & 10 & 11 - some cool flowers I saw. also featuring one of my favorites (columbines!)#Anyhow.. as mentioned in the other photo diary post.. I have just been packing and writing mostly.. The evil summer is coming of course #which me and my health issues always dread. Good news though is I finally got my passport in the mail! >:3 huzzah. Now I just need to find #some fellow aromantic asexual living outside the US willing to take one for the team and fake a marriage with me so I can get the #hell out of the country UwU (<joking) (...mostly... as in - definitely NOT my main goal. but if a viable opportunity presented itself I #would of course give it consideration lol). I know that's already highly regulated but I wonder if it's something that will become even mor #locked down as people hunt for any opportunity to flee. People are out here searching for any loophole. Frantically researching their #entire family tree seeing if there's any chance for a citizenship by descent in whatever place will take them. etc. etc. lol #So I wonder if such marriages are a thing that will come up more often. hmm.. ANYWAY..#I have almost all of my stuff packed even though I don't move until another 1-2 months. But that's the point is to have it all sorted early #in the last remaining scraps of ''cooler'' weather so that then I can just relax up until then. I'm going to try doing another scrapbook #/sketchbook this summer as a Mood Boosting effort. Just to find little things to help with the situational political existential dread and #climate woes. So on days it's too hot to function I can just glue little things to pages and doodle lol.. hopefully.. slowly getting things #off my to do list.. I reaaaaaally want to get back to playing games as it's so fun and realxing to me but..rghgh.. 500 other things..

Actually it is SO weird to me to remember that I was an engineering student and that later on I had been pursuing a minor in statistics

I may be a IT & com person in the end, but I do have the foundations of engineering and statistics in my brain too. Wild !

#speculation nation #if i hadnt liked coding so much i probably wouldve still been an engineer.#like my school does a first year engineering track where u learn the basics and then explore different engineering options #so by ur second year u choose your official track and that decides the rest of your schooling.#and id been thinking about computer & electrical engineering. often goes hand in hand.#guys i couldve been an electrical engineer. honestly that wouldve been so cool. wasnt meant to be tho 👍#i took a coding class my 2nd semester. first experience with coding. it was in C. i LOVED it.#and it got me comparing computer engineering and computer science and i decided that i wanted to do computer science #but well the intro course for that fucking sucked. didnt wanna go back to engineering either bc i hated engineering lol #im smart enough but it's fuckin soul sucking man.#eventually tho i found my way to my current home. im a techie :3 and im happy with that.#anyways do i seem like the kind of person who was into engineering and statistics? sometimes it's weird for me to remember.#but i did spent Years assuming id end up as an engineer. my grandpa was one. my dad was studying to be one b4 he dropped out #and my sister is one. just kinda runs in the family i guess. & so i was So Sure that was where i was going.#took. an engineering class in high school and everything. taught me some good foundational skills in modeling #also was the class that let me develop my signature. bc we had a notebook we had to sign the top of every day #so me doing my signature over and over again. i decided to use it as an opportunity to make it My Own. rather than just my name in cursive.#so yeah im a techie that talks good but i do have that math brain. engineering basis. statistics knowledge.#kinda feel like a jack of all trades (master of none) with it all. but see thats a good thing for companies (i hope)#ive got foundational knowledge of many things. and i am Adaptable. they can teach me the in depth shit i need to know themselves.#and i Also have my work experience in management... which i hope will help my case when applying to companies too.#aaaahhh!!! so many things to think about!!! but at the end of the day i am smart & educated and i will be a good asset to any company i join #i just need to convince them of that 😂 but i can probably figure something out. something !!!#i will graduate college and get some kind of IT job that pays decently & work my way up to maybe someday being an IT manager or smth #i can finally start. truly growing up. instead of being stuck in forever college unable to drive myself anywhere.#have my IT job and a car and the ability to do Whatever i want.... god i want it so bad.#im just daydreaming by this point. god im so excited to finally graduate college.

#Doodles #Tamagotchi #So unfortunately by this time the first lineage has passed #We managed to raise them to the final(ish) TMP! TMP 4 anyhow #Unfortunately I'm of the belief that they do actually weaken from inbreeding lol - maybe not that sophisticated but like #I'm pretty sure the further you get along the more demanding they are so if you want to raise a ''perfect'' lineage it takes some work!#For the first playthrough we got the cute chonky lads - there named Bay and Bug (nicknamed Lord and Lady for funsies)#And then their babies and then /their/ babies lol #At this point I still only had the Osutchi so I only got to see Bug and Pollina in passing but Bug was soooo cuuuuute #Such adorable little designs <3 I might like the stark mostly-black with white detail designs the most haha #The generations ended with the Mesu first and smol tapped out - fair since I was starting to get tired myself #I still raised them for a bit but I eventually failed at getting the final-final evolution while I was on track #I came back and he had died from sickness :( Poor weak immunity lad </3 #But I've restarted again and am playing solo :) I'm on TMP 2 and about to move to 3! With different evolutions!#I've also set the clocks a bit differently so they're not waking me up early anymore lol - it's just nicer all around :)#And! And!! I got a Gen2 rerelease! :D #Another died to sickness >:0 But at least I got them to adulthood first and Gen2s don't reproduce haha #I'm planning to play through as many of the evolutions as I can - I really want the alien lookin' guy! Love me a good alien haha #It's a fun little game :)

Solved a REALLY interesting car case today (albeit with a lot of help) and I'm on cloud 9. This is why I'm doing what I'm doing.

#automotive #automotive diagnostics #this was so freaking cool #this brand new charger would not start #would “SKIM out" so everyone just kind of assumed it was an immobilizer issue (which helps defend against a car getting stolen)#But we weren't getting anywhere with that angle and it bugged me that the vehicle wouldn't go tf to sleep with the key off #finally tracked that down to what appears to be a short involving the ignition run circuit internal to the fuse box under the hood #it would keep the BUS awake and interfere with the data “handshake” that happens when you first start a car #wanna know how I know the ignition run circuit is involved?#if we broke the offending circuit by pulling a relay and started the car #then put the relay back in #then keyed the car off #the engine would keep running #it was so freaking cool...! lol #pardon me I am geeking out #shut up selk

Brooooo I'm having so much fun doing fic research why did I ever stop (<- falls ill on a clockwork schedule).

Swear even though I hate using detailed plans I almost have a better time making them than I do the actual fic lmao.

Anyway for that time travel fic I'm going to write now I finished totk I'm trying to get a better idea of the pre calamity hyrule, which is so fun because it's entirely fictional, right? But one can INFER. One can IMPLY.

One can watch all the botw memories again and realise how dirty they did my boy link with his animations boy has the expression of a doormat. Like I'm squinting and I have no idea what he's supposed to be projecting. He seems like such a passive observer in his own memories :(.

But also the excuse to run around hyrule poking through broken down cabins and jumping off walls is great XD. I've always loved archaeology and this gives me the perfect outlet!

Like, did you know there was a big cathedral in the east side of castle town? Now there's not so much as a wall, there's no signifier at all, but that's what it's labelled as! I believe it faced south, so you would pass by it on your way out the east gate. Kind of crazy that's the original temple of time. Never seen it mentioned anywhere. It's potentially in the right place for oot, relative to the castle? I'd have to check.

Presumably it's where most ceremonies took place rather than the plateau - weddings, funerals and the like. (Coronations were almost certainly at the plateau.) Maybe it was part of a religious district? It's probably where Zelda prayed every day or every Sunday at least. Somewhere nice and public so people can see the princess being pious and filial and hard working etc etc. Poor girl.

On the opposite side, just outside the gates, is the prison, which has its own island in the moat and a little dock to fast track of the dungeons. I can imagine a lot of shiekah worked there, and it's interestingly (slightly worryingly) just across the moat from the ancient tech lab! That thing was a whole complex, it's ginormous! And razed to the foundation in a way you don't really get outside of castle town :/.

Anyway what's the point of having a whole moat if you don't even finish it off with a drawbridge?!? Seal the deal!

I'm going to have to get back to botw if I want to examine the castle proper though, totk has kinda done a number on it. Not sure how we're going to get it back down.

Heading to school now to finalize my decision to retake the year. Set your bets NOW on whether I’ll start crying again, completely shut down and will be unable to speak, or the third, secret option! (Not even I know what the third secret option is yet, but we’ll see!)

#it’s so funny like. this is entirely my decision #I don’t have to retake the year. but if things keep going like this I’m going to crash ceremoniously into a wall by the time #finals come around. so yeah #my parents straightup had no opinion on the matter and I don’t know whether to be glad or upset about that?#because like. yeah sure they didn’t scream or flip their shit. but I don’t want to have to make decisions like that without any #outside perspective yknow #but it’s been like that for years honestly #they’re completely uninvolved in everything I do basically #like my brother in Christ I’ve exclusively used a different name in school for over two years and you literally never noticed #it says my chosen name on all my projects! my assignments! everywhere #honestly I knew I could get away with it because they’d just be completely uninterested in what I do anyway lol #*lol #but. yeah #my portfolio is severely lacking and I can’t just catch that up like that #as I said my mental health is in shambles and our mental health support in this country is even worse off #and I honestly just feel kind of left alone in this decision making shit #like sure I’m an adult! but it’s not like I had much support with my decisions even before I was #no support while making a decision and only judgement after you make the decision #tbf the whole reason I’m so upset about this decision is because it means I’ll have to live at home for another year #I’d be a-okay with taking the rest of the semester off to get myself back on track and then put all I have into retaking the year #but like this I just feel really fucking tired #oops I guess this turned into a little bit of a #vent #sorry oops #delete later
