Light from the outside world barely streamed through the curtains as Ignis sat on the edge of the bed. His usual composed demeanor gave way to something more vulnerable as he trembled. He had been going steady with Y/N for some time, but he hadn't anticipated this moment would arrive so quickly.

Ignis swallowed hard as he met Y/N's gaze, his eyes betraying a hint of hesitation beneath their steady surface. He could feel the gentle pressure of Y/N's hand as it cupped his cheek, and he leaned into their touch, relishing the warmth of their fingertips against his skin.

"Are you sure about this?" Y/N's soft voice peered through the fog of Ignis's clouded mind, the whisper easing tension that had remained unspoken.

There were a million ways this could go wrong, and for the first time in a long while, Ignis didn't care. For years, perfectionism had been his Achilles heel; tonight, he wouldn't let it get in the way of desire.

"I am," Ignis finally replied, admiring how Y/N smiled at the trust laced in his voice.

With a slight nod, Y/N leaned in and gently kissed Ignis's lips. His movements were careful, but there was no mistaking the affection in his touch. Y/N's hands slowly unbuttoned Ignis's shirt, casting it off to the floor as their fingertips traveled across his skin. Each trace was deliberate, as if they were mapping out every inch of him, committing the terrain of his body to memory. Y/N took their time exploring him, wanting Ignis to feel cherished and loved.

Ignis's hands found their way to Y/N's shoulders, gripping lightly to ground himself in the moment. His breath hitched as they kissed along his collarbone, and he felt their lips trail down his chest. Sparks flew down every nerve in his spine, and as his affection for Y/N blossomed further, Ignis could feel himself losing track of time. None of his obligations as the royal prince's retainer and his responsibilities to the kingdom paid any heed to his heart. What mattered most was being present with Y/N at this moment.

There was absolute trust in Ignis's eyes by the time Y/N finally eased his body back onto the bed. His gaze bore his soul, just as vulnerable as he was naked before them. He couldn't help but pull Y/N down for another kiss, letting out a soft moan at hearing them whisper words of reassurance and dedication. He felt shivers run down his arms, already melting before joining Y/N's body.

Words couldn't define what Ignis felt when they connected, nor could he put a singular feeling onto his emotions. All he knew was he was safe and could trust Y/N to guide him to the end.

Ignis's breath hitched as Y/N moved against him, their hands tracing patterns across his skin. He gasped softly, his fingers curling into the sheets. Whatever was left of his composure slipped away as he surrendered himself to the sensations that climbed the peaks of his body.

As Ignis lost himself, Y/N's heart swelled with affection--unable to stop smiling as they watched him let go, trusting them completely. Ignis was always precautious and didn't like giving up control. It made sense, given his station among the royal family and the responsibilities he bore, but it was a challenge to navigate in a committed relationship. The guttural moans that left his mouth, the way his toes flexed against the blankets, how he was left a whimpering mess, it was like seeing another person underneath the exterior that Ignis wore like a shield--and Y/N was beyond grateful getting to see this other version of him seep through the cracks and into freedom. He was so beautiful; it was hard not to come undone right then and there.

"Y..you're incredible," Y/N whispered, pressing their forehead against his. Ignis's eyes opened, his gaze locking with theirs.

"So are you…" He replied, his voice barely more than a breath as he reached up and pulled Y/N into a tender and desperate kiss as if trying to convey everything he felt in that one action.

The pace remained unhurried for quite a while as Y/N and Ignis moved against each other. Each wanting to stretch the moment on for as long as possible. Finally, climaxing together, the pair shuddered as they rode out the high of their coupling. Y/N's name left Ignis's lips many times before feeling their quivering arms pull him in for an exhausted but affectionate kiss, only to stop for air as they gasped.

Afterward, the room filled with only Y/N's breathing intermingled with Ignis's unsteady sighs. He laid his head against Y/N's chest, the warmth of their bodies pressed together.

"Thank you," Ignis murmured, his voice content. He smiled as Y/N kissed the top of his head.

"There's nothing to thank me for," Y/N whispered. "I'm glad you let me have you."

Ignis hummed in response, his eyes closing as he relaxed into Y/N's embrace. He wondered when his body would stop fluttering as his mind replayed what had transpired for the last few hours. He was both scared and exhilarated, unable to fully convey the extent of his experience. So he latched onto Y/N's words and held onto them like a light in a storm.

"As am I…" Ignis weakly replied, feeling himself fighting yet yearning for rest. He knew whatever lay ahead between himself and Y/N was the start of something even more beautiful than previously envisioned.

Greetings from a very sleepy and bored roleplayer.

Hello Tumblr! I hope the night, or day depending on your timezone, has been treating you well. I come to you today looking for new, long-term roleplay partners for a very small percent of the fandoms that I am currently in and fixating over. I am 21+ and I work most afternoons, so more likely than not my responses will come out later in the night. My timezone is est for reference. Given the few fandoms I'm pulling from for this request, I will unfortunately not want to use ocs since I don't have any real OCS for any of these who aren't just ship children and I personally don't like doing oc x canon, save for specific instances like with BG3 and any other instances with canonized self inserts. While my average reply always falls somewhere between literate and advanced literate, with me averaging between 1 - 3 paragraphs per, I have been known to dip into novella when I get insanely motivated. I only roleplay on discord, and while tupperbox is preferred for this it is not required. Also, being queer myself I have always been more drawn to queer ships since they feel more right to me. And just a given but please don't be afraid to geek out with me in ooc. The whole reason I'm searching for a real person and not just going to ch.ai is because I like being able to shoot ideas off of my partners and just be silly in the background. Also don't just assume that yes romance means yes smut. I don't do that as much anymore.

What is the best way to make the glaives + titus fall asleep? (Full belly? Cuddles? Massages? Soft music?) The glaives need some love and rest. I personally fall asleep anytime my girlfriend holds me and plays with my hair. Thank you!

That´s a beautiful ask anonie!❤️ They certainly need lots of love and rest. (even if they say that they don´t and it´s just part of the job, you know who I am talking about 👀)

How to make glaives fall asleep (+ with their S/O) :

Nyx is the type that loves when his S/O plays with his hair and scratching his scalp, it puts him in such calm and sleepy mood. If he doesn´t have S/O, then he falls asleep when he´s listening to audio books. It´s the best way how to just shut down for a moment, he needs the background.

Lib is definitively the type of person that falls asleep with full belly of good food. ( and If some alcohol is involved then even better in his opinion) And if Lib has a S/O then gentle rubbing or scratching his full stomach, Lib will be out like a light. (He looks like a big cat with his tummy out, begging for scratches)

Tredd always striked me as touch oriented person, so if he can hold his S/O close to his chest and perhaps hide in the crooke of their neck then he´s the happiest Furia ever. (Tredd loves the warm of other person, it´s oddly comforting and it instantly lulls him to sleep) Without S/O he usually needs a good and long workout to tire him out.

Honestly, he falls asleep during his late night work. Luche exhausts himself so much, it crashes on him. But if he´s home for once at reasonable time then I can see him just lay there in complete silence, enjoying the quiet. (working with people is gruelling) With his S/O he enjoys deep back massages, that can make him melt on the spot.

Pelna actually falls asleep when he gets to drink chamomile tea or lavender tea. (it helps him sleep much better and relax) When he´s with his S/O he loves to fall asleep on their thighs while they read or watch videos. Pelna loves the closeness, the warm that radiates from the other person. (bonus points if his S/O hold his hand while rubbing his knuckles)

Crowe loves one hot and long bath with herbs. Soaking like that makes her forget literally everything. (moreover, it washes away all the bad things) Many times she fell asleep like that and almost drowned. When her S/O is singing or humming some soft tune, it makes her close her eyes and cherish the moment, which results in Crowe asleep.

Axis most likely falls asleep when surrounded by his family, prefferably in cuddle pile with his children when TV is playing in the background. With his S/O he loves spooning in the bed while they gently cares his face.

Sonitus falls asleep when he can hear the sound of the sea. You may laugh but he lived at coast his whole life. (Soni just can´t image to sleep without waves crashing at the reef, and smell of salt and seaweed) Soni loves when his S/O is his personal blanket, their weight and warm ground him in the reality. ( and to the land of dreaming)

Well, usually he doesn´t sleep much. (Always working the captain of ours) But when he actually gets home, he grabs bottle of bourbon and goes to the bed. There is accompanied by his little dog, which sleeps by his side. When this grump has S/O then he absolutely adores when they tell him about their day or whisper sweet things in his ear. (their voice is the most beautiful sound for Titus)

"C'mon, brother!" Somnus threw his arm over Ardyn's shoulder, grinning so widely that Ardyn was surprised his teeth didn't fall from his mouth. "Your debut night should be one of enchantment, not of gloom!"

Ardyn made a face, his nose twitching from the strong smell of alcohol on Somnus's breath. He could almost taste it at the back of his throat, shuddering involuntarily.

"Easy for you to say when you've already drunk half the winery before the festivities…"

"They don't call it liquid courage for nothing!" Somnus chuckled, then sighed and let go of Ardyn upon seeing his frown. "Are you really going to let one mishap ruin your mood?"

"It wasn't just any mishap," Ardyn firmly corrected, his glare softening. "Our stunt with the impromptu race between our chocobos nearly cost a child her life. Forgive me for not being keen to put on a show for the locals while the guilt weighs on my conscience."

Somnus furrowed his brows. For all his philandering and playfulness, shame crept into his eyes for a few seconds as he allowed Ardyn to brood.

"Look," Somnus sighed, "you already took the fall for us, though it was me who goaded you. You set things right with father and compensated the family of that little one for duress. You're going to be the next king of Lucis. Self-imposed suffering will only get you so far."

"And as the future king, I should have led with maturity rather than behaving impetuously."

"Yes," Somnus nodded, smiling and frowning at once. "But you forget yourself. At the end of the day, you're just a boy. Just as I am."

Ardyn looked up and met Somnus's gaze. His words lacked their father's tact, but simplicity often spoke louder than eloquence.

Despite Somnus being twenty and Ardyn himself having just turned twenty-three, they were both still kids at the end of the day, and kids made mistakes. Humans made mistakes. Even those of royal blood.

Ardyn began to crack a smile, his lips growing wider as Somnus grabbed either side of his shoulders and gave him a playful shake to snap him out of his despondency.

I can let this go for now...

"C'mon, I know something that'll cheer you up!" Somnus exclaimed.

Ardyn scoffed, raising a brow. "This isn't like that time you kicked me into a shrub in front of the council, right?"

"We've been through that; it was an accident!" Somnus threw his hands up in surrender as he led Ardyn down the corridor of the palace, coming upon the large doors that led to the courtyard where most of the guests had gathered. They stuck close to the shadows at Somnus's behest and stopped by a pillar to hide.

"What on Eos are we skulking around like daemons for?" Ardyn frowned, crossing his arms as Somnus playfully gestured to a crowd of women.

"See that?"

"See who?"

"Are you blind?" Somnus balked. "Can't you see that's Aera among the beautiful hens over there? Y'know, our old playmate?"

Ardyn's lips parted in confusion as he squinted into the flood of people, scouting for the maidens Somnus had pointed out. There were many women present tonight, and Ardyn couldn't help but blush a little. He knew this was the doing of their father—casting out the net to try to entice potential suitors to present themselves to the future Lucian king. It wasn't an appealing concept, especially when at the end of the day, he wouldn't get to choose his mate. He had the illusion of choice.

Suddenly, the negative imaginings in Ardyn's mind ceased as his eyes settled on the most breathtaking creature he had ever seen. Her body was clothed in a gorgeous cerulean dress, contrasting with the dark sylleblossoms whose petals kissed the locks of her shoulder-length hair. Small crystals on the gown accentuated her waist and the bottom of her dress. But what was most appealing of all was her smile, and how all the noise outside disappeared, leaving Ardyn's ears at the mercy of her little noises and giggles.

There she was...

The little girl he and Somnus once used to play with during their childhood, now a grown woman.

She was more radiant than the flowers in her hair.

"Gods…" It was the only coherent word Ardyn could form as his heart skipped a beat. He felt like fainting.

"Right?" Somnus snickered, also admiring the work of art before his eyes while he dragged his brother out from their hiding spot. "She certainly blossomed!"

"And then some…"

"Huh?"

"Nothing!" Ardyn blinked, pinching the bridge of his nose to snap out the daze of being twitterpated.

While trying to compose himself, he ignored the rest of Somnus's ramblings and didn't notice Aera and two other girls heading straight for them.

Dumbfounded couldn't quite summarize what Ardyn felt as Aera stood a few feet away from him, but it was the closest word he had. She had been adorable as a child, but never in a million years did he imagine himself growing weak in the knees at her mere presence as adults. This power she unknowingly had over him scared Ardyn. At the same time, he wanted to drown in it. To drown in her, however she would hold space for him.

"Whaat? Say something! Am I so beautiful that you've no words left?"

Ardyn was hypnotized by her mouth and the way her eyes glimmered against the nearby candles, making his brain glitch as he stared at her like a deer caught in headlights. It was only when Somnus gave him a painful nudge to his ribs did he snap out of it.

"P-pretty girl!" Ardyn blurted out, his cheeks turning deep red as the other women at Aera's side covered their mouths in a poor attempt to hide their laughs. He cleared his throat, giving a slight bow with his head toward Aera out of respect in a vain attempt to regain composure and formality.

"Apologies, Lady Fleuret," Ardyn said gently. As he straightened up, his eyes met hers, and he felt his knees wanting to buckle again. He hid his nervousness with a sincere smile and sighed contentedly. "It's not every day I get to gaze upon one so enchanting. Time has been quite generous to you. It's an honor to see you after all these years."

"And you as well, Ardyn. For all counts!" Aera giggled, smiling sincerely at him.

"That does warm the heart. Considering as I recall having to put both you and Somnus on time outs for being little devils." Ardyn playfully quipped.

"I never held that against you! You were doing us both a favor in the grand scheme of things." Aera laughed. Her eyes seemed to grow with fascination as she looked him over, her smile widening. "I've truly missed you, Ardyn. I feel fortunate that the gods decided our families were to meet again."

Damn the gods right now...Ardyn thought. However, if the gods could stop time and let them be the only two souls on Eos for five minutes, Ardyn would have willed it into existence. Especially with the way she looked at him—not as a boy, not as the next king of Lucis, but as a man she obviously admired.

And just like that, the memory faded—filed away into the back of his subconscious as Ardyn blinked. The Imperial Banquet—one of Niflheim's finest events—seeped back into his reality.

Ardyn clutched the stem of his wine glass while he watched men and women dance the night away. He wasn't one to feel envious, but a deep yearning stirred in his heart as he envisioned that night he became reacquainted with Aera and how their bodies danced as one. Despite Somnus's meddling and his own failed attempts to woo her, she had chosen Ardyn to take the lead and guide her. As if the gods had ordained it so.

He pressed the glass to his lips, gulping down the wine as if consuming poison with great reverence.

If he could destroy Eos a million times over to dance with Aera—to feel again—he'd gleefully purge every last soul his eyes settled on.
