So I updated my Spidersona, yes she is dating Hobie because I said so.

Rose T. Blossom is the Spiderperson of Earth-63428, a trans girl who was bitten by a radioactive spider, now she mostly shows up at various pride parades and protests to web up corrupt cops, she also occasionally has to deal with supervillains but that's fine, she spends her time out of the mask drawing, writing, and napping. Her first foray into the multiverse was when some random symbiote crossed dimensions and she had to help Spider-Punk stop it, wherein they met and Hobie brought her to HQ, where she joined the others and the two started dating.

Funny story with this one. I meant to get through another piece, but the sheer challenge of it made me call it after getting some of the lineart done. If I ever get around to finishing it, I will explain.

This lovely madam mushroom is Mycena Rosea, brought to you by Banu from ArtFight. She really seemed like she would be into ballet, so I slapped some pointe slippers on and let her do her thing.

Signature “spell”: Shrink to Grow

Rosea himself does not have a signature spell, but his counterpart Enoki does. Enoki is able to grow mushrooms from scratch, and if you eat the mushroom it grows; the mushroom will either grow you or shrink you. Though Rosea assumes he’s never had a signature spell, Enoki has mentioned multiple times that it stole Rosea’s spell. 

Background Info:

Rosea was not always bound to Enoki. In fact, he had control over his own body and was able to do his own thing freely. But there was a time and place where Rosea found Enoki.

Enoki was found in a patch of wild mushrooms. The young fellow decided to walk in said patch, thinking it was just some harmless patch of mushrooms he’d never seen before. Enoki found the host it needed to stay alive and latched onto Rosea’s back leg. after picking a few mushrooms himself. Rosea went back home to study.

When nightfall came, the unfortunate events began. Unfortunately, for being a loud sleeper, Enoki slithered into Rosea's mouth and nestled on the roof of it to begin feeding. This is where Rosea’s frequent blackouts and memory loss begin to kick in. Rosea never knew why it continued to happen until he found out it had been writing to him. finding this out and being the curious one he is. Rosea decided to keep it.

As long as the parasite doesn’t intrude on his personal life, it is allowed to stay. The difference between the two is that Enoki is very 80s themed. Enoki likes bright colors and wears mushroom glasses. Roseais more solitary, as he wears natural colors and does not wear the glasses.

Personality of Enoki/Rosea:

Enoki’s personality is far different from Rosea’s. Enoki is the life of the party; it’s more vibrant, more loud, and it does have a more "go with the flow" type of vibe to it on certain occasions. A lot of phrases Enoki ends up using are "bro, broski, rad, broseph, totes, etc." It does have personality, as it very much expresses itself in an excited yet happy way, of course. Like most classic energetic boys, Enoki gets bored during class and will often find a way to get into trouble to liven up the place.

Rosea will do what he can to avoid social interactions. Other than going to school and staying within HSB rules, Rosea will often stay in his room and study his favorite mushrooms. The young lad is kind-hearted and sweet but has a hard time talking to people. Some words don’t come out the way he wants. He also has a hard time saying "no" and making options for himself. He wishes there were much easier ways to do things in life without needing to talk to people. You often see him in the back of class squinting and trying to write notes down. If you come up and try to talk to him, Rosea will often blank out or nod to what you say. He can be rather blunt at times, or give short answers. This is for people to leave him alone.

How does the switching work:

Most times, it’s very abrupt when Enoki switches with Rosea. It’s mostly to butt into conversations or to liven up the area. They both are aware of this, but only Rosea doesn’t remember what happens when Enoki takes over. Those are what Rosea calls his "blackouts."

People are aware of the sudden personality changes, but they do not think it’s a parasite. Luckily, they can tell the difference between them. The switch also happens when Rosea is panicking, in a high-tensile situation, overstimulated, or stressed. All Enoki has to do is take over Rosea’s brain and control it for a bit. Enoki's being in control helps Rosea rest and mentally sleep.

Unfortunately, Enoki is the only one who can see through Rosea’s eyes when it isn’t in control.

Rosea is usually the one in main control. The way he gets back is until he’s mentally rested or until Enoki gets bored again and lets Rosea take over a bit.

Fun Facts about Enoki/Rosea:

Roses is Acquaintance with Jade due to their love of mushrooms! They both end up going on hours on end just talking about their favorite shrooms.

Enoki and Cater are friends due to being both social butterflies, will often plan parties or plans to come up for the school or dorm.

It has been said that they have made to be an oc x canon ship, Idia was the one chosen for this. Poor poor soul.

Enoki is still finding out ways to keep its host alive, not too long ago it found out food and water purpose was to keep someone alive. So it makes sure that Rosea and itself eats a proper meal and has a good dosage of water per day. Enoki does this with everyone as well. Making sure they all have proper meals and water.

Enoki and Rosea write to each other! Every-time they switch, they check a little notebook they carry and read what the other has respond to. Ofc then they write back and continue on the day until the other switch over.

Both Enoki and Rosea share the love of the color pink! They’re hair is also dyed, originally it was brown. But Enoki went to the hair salon and dyed their hair pink and white. When Rosea found out he was absolutely in distressed and wondered how it happened. This is how he found out he had a parasite in him after a note was written to him
