One thing I’ll say about Elimination Chamber 2025:

After this event, Cody Rhodes and CM Punk have been cemented as the main babyfaces of WWE. Cody is now the ultimate underdog, going against the Hollywood monsters who sold their souls. Cody not only refused to sell his soul, but reaffirmed that his soul is with the WWE audience and even told the Rock to go fuck himself with his offer. So in addition to being the underdog hero, he’s now the current people’s champion.

As for CM Punk, they gave him the Stone Cold moment. Instead of tapping out to Cena’s STF, he was so stubborn in his desire to win that he passed out. And just to add on to this, he only lost because he got screwed over by Seth Rollins. After years of the audience wanting him to be in the main event of Wrestlemania, the crowd is 100% going to be on his side when he goes on the hunt for Seth. He was already over as a babyface. Now? He’s OVER over.

So basically, Cena and Rock have helped Cody Rhodes cement his status as the top babyface/people’s champ of the Netflix era. CM Punk is now the top “antihero” babyface, the one who has a bit more of an edge but still gets the pop of a babyface. They’re the Rock/Stone Cold of this generation. Or the Cena/Orton.

con queste dosi ne usciranno 8. mischiate tutti gli ingredienti insieme e poi lasciate riposare l’impasto per mezz’oretta. consiglio di ungere la padella con uno spruzzo di olio e di spalmarlo omogeneo con un pezzo di carta da cucina. una volta messo l’impasto in padella, copritelo col coperchio cosicché si cucini anche sopra. basterà qualche minuto per lato et voilà✨

- 130gr di farina (anche di riso)

I just realized something. If the reason behind the Cena heel turn is that Rock and Cena sold their souls to Hollywood, that means Cody Rhodes is the hero of the story since he chose WWE. Hollywood takes your soul and WWE is where you can keep your soul.

All I’m saying is, it’s bold to have WWE present themselves as the morally correct choice lol. I see you, H and Michaels.

This is a random observation, but people saying that Cody Rhodes is definitely turning heel based on what he did to Kevin Owens is confusing to me. The general sentiment was that he snapped and showed too much aggression to Kevin, which meant he was definitely turning into a heel.

That would technically make sense. All you have to do is ignore the fact that Cody was beating down another heel who had put his mentor in the hospital and tried to end his career. I’m like…yeah, a babyface is definitely gonna turn heel because he beat down another heel. That totally makes sense as a storyline. You know, it’s like when Captain America was revealed to be pro-HYDRA because he went a little too hard in fighting HYDRA.

And then the other justification was that Cody Rhodes was taunting Kevin Owens after his victory. Babyfaces don’t do that, they would show compassion to their fallen foes. That is true, but once again, this is Kevin Owens. This guy tried to break Cody’s neck and end his career, in addition to taking out his mentor Randy Orton. And he did this because he somehow convinced himself that Cody had betrayed their friendship for just teaming up with Roman in a one-time tag match. Put yourself in Cody’s shoes. Would YOU show compassion to Kevin at that moment? I don’t even think John Cena would even during the PG era days.

And on top of all this, it bothers me that people instantly assume that Cody is turning heel just because he’s acting a little less heroic than usual. It’s strange because if CM Punk had been in Cody’s role, nobody would be thinking that he was turning heel. Now obviously, that’s CM Punk, he’s his own man. But my point is that Cody shows more aggression than normal and people immediately jump to, “Oh, he’s turning heel!”

If he’s gonna turn heel, it’s not because he beat down Kevin Owens, who is a heel. If he beats up someone like Jey Uso or R-Truth, then we can talk.
