17. Who is more competitive?

hmmm........ I think Dream is more likely to get competitive, honestly. I think Ink is the type to fake competitiveness and not really give a shit in reality- he just likes messing with people. Dream might actually get upset if you beat him in a game though- but I think he's still pretty normal. However, for sparring?? That's when you're going to get that true competition. Dream is giving his all and Ink is running for his fucking life and laughing all the while. 24. Sleeping/cuddling positions? (Big spoon, little spoon, etc.)?

It's so funny how I recently was thinking about this lol. I think when Dream is sleeping (Ink is awake like the little freak he is), Ink is most commonly big spoon while Dream is little spoon. I think Ink likely has this anxiety of being trapped- it feels like a loss of control. Dream is a MESSY sleeper and is twisting and turning and grabbing onto shit in his sleep and then throwing that shit. so I imagine that Ink might just. kinda hold him down to prevent that. Because if Dream gets a good hold of him he is Not letting go until he wakes up.

While Ink would have this dislike of being trapped, I do think he likes deep pressure therapy. So, sometimes he would seek out that feeling of compression. Dream would like holding Ink. And, I think sometimes Ink would allow/ask for Dream to fully just. lay on top of him. weighted blanket style.

30. Pet names? Yes or no?

Rubs hands together. Ohohoho...

If you've read my fics I think it's kinda apparent that Ink has a thing for nicknames. The most common nicknames that Ink is using for Dream are: Dreamy, Dreamboat, Big Weirdo, and Sunshine. I don't see him using any of the... typical??? pet names. He might pull out a condescending 'babe' or two, or use it just because he knows Dream likes it and he enjoys watching him squirm.

Dream wants to use pet names. I think he's like... too awkward to really do it though. Circling back to my true name concept- I think in Dreamtale, using nicknames is a sign of really deep affection. If you're using a nickname for someone, it's like you're trying to protect them almost (more names- harder to figure out the true name. kinda thought). The more names, the more you think that person should be protected. I think when courting someone, there is this ritual of almost trying to one up the other person with nicknames. However, the nicknames should be well thought out. I think that is what Dream struggles with. Dream wants to call Ink stuff like 'my love' or 'my dear' but it always comes out as verbal word salad or 'little freak'. He's trying. I have played around with the idea of Dream calling Ink 'cherry blossom'- because Ink's eye-lights often turn pink around him, and that pink color reminds Dream of cherry blossoms.

If you want to know about AU versions of Ink and Dream and pet names though.......

Sol is confidently calling Prism my love, my dear, my dearest love, my shining prism, etc.

Prism is calling Sol 'my sun' and 'my light'. ask game

I got to the Wiegraf fight at Riovanes again last night, and the first bits of dialogue made me set the PSP down and start sketching this comic page out, haha

I was originally just going to go monochrome for this one, but I decided I'd give a shot to trying out coloring it, using the monochrome layer as a base.

And honestly the colors look so much like how I'd color things in my sketchbooks back when I was just out of high school, the tones and the scratchy look of it, haha. It's actually pretty nostalgic to my eyes.
