Yumi I'm an idiot?? I've been interacting with your blog for the past couple weeks without really computing in my goldfish brain WHY I follow you in the first place, which was a grave mistake because EXCUSE ME??? YOU WROTE GUERILLA???
That story is honestly my fave yunho fic of all time 😭😭 had me screaming into my plushies when he called her 'my girl' (I am a simple woman... feminism would be ashamed of me...), I was absolutely WEAK for the scene where he went to apologise after flipping out about he knife (he is the standard but also holy crap the bar is on the ground hshshshs) and he just let her cry into him like pls I've been making so much dua where do I find me a man like this 🙏 and I loved the fact that mc had her own motivations and backstory! She wasn't a naive or passive character and I adore that!
I have so much more to say but I won't take up too much of your time, thank you so much for writing and sharing that story!! I have to check out the rest of your masterlist now...
hi idiot
omgg as one goldfish to another i totally understand you lmao but yes this goldfish wrote guerrilla :D
but omgg thank you 😭 yes idk where 'my girl' came from KJDSHFKJDJHG but it was a necessity bruh like i raised my own standards so high when i wrote that scene like??? how will i ever have what yunho and reader had in guerrilla?? im so mad??? i want my serial killer doctor biker husband??? (the bar really be 6 ft under but i'll have that too) (bestie get your duas straightened we'll have a man like that one day yes just not a serial killer we can't fix that 😭😭)
and yes i physically cannot write a simple mc they always gotta have that tragic backstory or some weird motivation 😤
thank you so much for dropping by with this ask, means a lot to me, and i hope you enjoy whatever you read next <33
#love how everyone is so down bad for the idea of serial killer yuyu#the 'my girl' came from my soul btw#feminism who#fic: guerrilla#yumi.asks

unhinged peaky thoughts: Would love to be kidnapped and injured by an enemy so that tommy could swoop in and save me and be all protective and tend to my wounds and be so gentle with me and get so violent with the enemy. feminism has taken a hit today but I can’t deny my wants
I'm so fucking obsessed with this like protective Tommy is so hot to me I would damsel in distress so perfectly for him I know it in my heart I'd be the perfect victim needing saved by him haha

We lose everytime a girl in fiction who is on the masc side and happy with it becomes very feminine as a supposed sign of maturity
#Also applys to alt girls#Tropes#to everyone in my notes saying cassie sandsmark this was cassie vagueposting#IM NOT !!! REFERRING TO THOSE INTERNALISED MISOGYNY WHO DRESS MORE MASC CUZ OF THAT AND START TO EMBRACE FEMINITY JUST FINE#IN A POSITIVE WAY#this is more like. girls who were explicitly shown to dress gnc/masc leaning because thats simply their personality and what they like#and are comfortable with but still need to be “corrected” to dress feminine#especially if its for male/social validation

” Am I not right to weep? O my children, cursed children of a hateful mother - ”
#medea#my art#cw blood#cw mild nudity#euripides medea#greek tragedy#greek theatre#this play is Female Rage by excellence#hmm yes the blood of her sons on her face hands breasts and belly the parts of her body that her children knew the most yes indeed#im really proud of this#:)#lots of symbolism here#the red shawl is her hate while the black one is a mourning blanket#it's dwarfed by her heartbreak which enveloped her whole and bears no blood bc it's already red#her eyes are golden like Circe's who's her kinswoman#the handle of the dagger is Jason who isn't explicitly wounded by her but drove her hand (the blame of the murders actually befalling him)#<that's why it's not bloodied unlike the blade which was used to hurt#her tear washed down the blood on her cheek representing her being absorbed of her crime by both the gods and her grief#on the mural behind her is Medea enchanting the dragon while Jason steals the Golden Fleece#and above (right) is Hera and Iris and (left) Helios in his chariot#with female chorus masks lamenting Medea's crime like the chorus in the play#the pose and expression are inspired by the poster for Médée by Mucha for the Théâtre de la Renaissance starring Sarah Bernhardt#overall proud of this#i think women deserve to go a little mad and violent when they're angry. as a treat#anyway thanks Euripides for the 500bc feminism

When people think women aren’t capable of misogyny I have to laugh because misogyny isn’t men just being creepy and weird and rating women on reddit. It’s not just statistics on violence and crime stories, even though that is a big part of it.
It’s also republican moms and mean girl sisters who encourage competition between women as peak femininity. It’s also women who think having friends is an equivalent to a bravo TV show that includes hair pulling and slut-shaming. It’s also women who tell you certain things make you ugly and “look like a man.” Women who make fun of feminine features in men. It’s women who think the best way to deal with a patriarchal system is by trying to befriend it so they can try to benefit off of it by “not being like other girls” — the way people boil feminism down to the proximity of femininity and masculinity on the internet really bothers me. Some of the worst misogynists I’ve known in my life have been the republican women I’ve grown up around.
#it kinda reminds me of terfs whos entire politics rely on things they think makes a woman#and its the most dystopic 1950’s housewife shit youve ever heard#feminism#transandrophobia#last tag bc some things ive seen regarding arguments in it seem a little relevant#it’s something I want people to keep in mind#the whole manosphere shit goes beyond just meathead podcasts dudes#like we should all know this by now???

Feeding the neighbors cat hard boiled eggs and thinking about how many women have to suffer from Menstration. FUCK! WHY CAN'T WOMEN JUST LIVE! I grit my teeth at the injustice. I will fight periods for you with my bare fists. I WILL PROTECT YOU. As a Dark Feminist, it is my duty.
#Women who do not have periods I will protect you with my fists anyways. I have plenty of fist to go around#Men who MENstrate? I will simply chuckle darkly. A man suffering is a win for Dark Feminism.#Non Binaries who are Period? I don't know. I will just nod and say#Sad!

If even acknowledging antisemitism within your community spaces is going to "distract from the cause," maybe that's because the foundation of your beliefs comes down to antisemitism. What you're doing is telling on yourself.
#jumblr#jewish politics#personal thoughts tag#yes if you're in the group chat this is a vague post but seeing that (what i complained about) made me realize this#maybe it wasn't all that bad then???#this has the same energy as people who say that acknowledging transphobia in feminist spaces is wrong#because obviously you can only focus on One Thing At A Time like we're in a video game! (sarcasm)#i promise you can be against bigotry of all kind and it won't take away from anything about your causes#like i'm a Believer In Feminism and i also focus on fixing transphobia within these spaces i am in! it's EASY!!!#it's easy because i see trans people as intrinsic human beings i'll give you that but it's still easy#women are not Missing Out on my activism because i am focused on more than one thing at a time

> them: our community is trans inclusive
> me: is it actually trans inclusive or is it just adhering to the gender binary but with trans people forced into the same ridged expectations and assumed positions of power or vulnerablility that cis people are?
> them: what do you mean
> me: *pulls out a chart explaining how gender essentialism is inherently harmful even if you count trans men and women as men and women because the very concepts of man and woman under this framework are so restrictive and reductive that they can not account for the diverse and complex intersectional experiences of trans men/women(or even marginalized cis people) and will also never be able to make a space safe for intersex, nonbinary, and multigender people*
> them: haha it's trans inclusive ma'am- I mean they
> I look inside
> it's ridged adherence to the gender binary
#before anyone says anything this is about people trying to make radical feminism “trans inclusive” and like cis people#who think so long as they treat trans and cis people the same they don't have to deconstruct their beliefs#about how people in general should be treated with regards to sex and gender#and shit of that nature#discourse#queer discourse

"blah blah men can be oppressed bc they aren't allowed to cry and express emotion"
they aren't allowed to do that bc that's perceived as feminine.
the feminine is being demonized.
it still comes back to oppression of the FEMININE.
#and yes obv men not being able to express their emotions is bad#but who set that system up?#and do i really care when women are being killed? srry#no.#feminism

why are people so abnormal about female body hair…. i’m aware body hair isn’t the most pressing feminist issue at the moment but the amount of times i will see a video of a women online and go to the comments, just to see everyone telling her she’s gross or to shave? most of the time i don’t even notice she has body hair and 99% of the time it’s completely irrelevant to the topic of the video 🙄 only wanting a woman who is completely hairless is weirdo behaviour idc
#shaving#feminism#women#discussion#this is such a lukewarm take but just needed to rant a little#based on an ig reel i saw recently#the woman had the tiniest bit of pit hair and everyone in the comments was losing it#it wasn’t even a focal point of the video#everyone be normal about female body hair challenge GO#it’ll be the same men who preach about wanting a natural#i don’t want body hair to be considered sexy just normal#edit: i meant to put natural woman in the second to last tag before this one

btw your homophobic republican grandma is not a radfem. no, the conservative woman talking about “womanly brain” & being explicitly anti-abortion isn’t a radfem, either. no… the spiritual woman telling young girls to “return to their divine feminine” & selling out cheap dating instructions & “tips” & promoting the idea of “female-specific” emotions, thoughts, and feelings, most likely isn’t a radfem. your radical christian mom that disowned you for being trans isn’t a radfem. please. PLEASE LEARN what radical feminism is. i am BEGGING you.
#these people are insane#like no you cannot use the woman you saw promoting otherwise extremely misogynistic rhetoric & saying mean things about trans people#as a “gotcha” against radfems#because that is NOT a radfem#conservative women calling themselves gender critical & co-opting our terms is a worthy thing to talk about#but they aren’t some “magical proof” of all radfems = bad#because they don’t know fuckshit about radfeminism#women who use our terms & call themselves feminists only when they get to shit on innocent trans people#are despicable and do not belong in our spaces#they aren’t radfems#radical feminism#gender abolition#gender critical#radblr

wow i love twitter sm.
on a serious note - i think it's funny to portray women not wearing make-up as silly and childish when you're the one apparently caring so much about what other people are doing to their faces.
ask yourself: why do you find bare faces not appropriate for formal events? why does it bother you to see a woman without makeup? how does it effect you? why do you think it effects you?
you're so insistent that there are no societal pressures at play, that women are doing this exclusively for themselves and for the joy of it - then where does this urge to force it on women who don't find joy in it come from? why does it annoy you to see women in their natural way of being? it's a choice, but also there's a right choice, apparently, and anyone stepping out of line shoud be promptly shamed into submission. right?
"a little (whatever) never hurt anybody" okay and neither does a bare face. grow up.
#mona mona mona#anti beauty culture#anti beauty industry#anti makeup#feminism#radfem#every week i see some variation of “every woman should know how to do (specific kind of makeup)” or “i can't take grown women who don't do#seriously" or straight-up shaming women for the crime of having a face and not painting it over to start over#also this attitude that “it's only little x” you say that about everything!!!!!!!!!!! a little of this here and a little of this there and#bit of this and that. that's a full face babe!#also i literally don't care! i don't give a shit about how litte whatever i don't want to do a little of anything. at all.
