So I was reminded of a brainwave today as I was taking way too long to try and get hangars and food

So I had this thought once of TF One Optimus and Megatron crashing on Earth, but they have amnesia and don’t remember anything up to the events of the movie; they still think they’re Orion Pax and D-16

And because of this, they’re kind of having the time of their lives, with them actually having T-Cogs, Orion somehow having the Matrix of Leadership (and maybe being a Prime now?), D having a sweet Megatronus tattoo, and being on a quite beautiful planet and not having to be in the mines, especially when they get back to Cybertron with the Matrix. I mean, they have no clue how they got there, or how to leave or contact anyone to pick them up, or if this planet has fuel they can actually use and what they do when they run out of Energon, but that’s a problem for another time

I’m also thinking that while on Earth, they encounter a family of humans that live on a farm or something. Maybe they crashed close to or in their property. And so now they got human friends to talk to and give them shelter, and in return they help out around the farm (probably made easier when they realize they can turn into Earth vehicles)

So just good vibes for these two. Meanwhile the other Cybertronians have no clue where their leaders are and they’re in a crisis about it. But they don’t know that

following on from this. not to always bring marc into everything (sorry marc) but if assen 2015 had happened against jorge, valentino would have very likely pulled something similar again imo. rather than what he actually did, which is approach marc almost immediately for a nice normal friendly handshake and backing off during the podium celebrations. should be noted that during laguna seca '08, valentino was very much committed to yapping at casey on the podium with the world's biggest smuggest grin on his face

partly that disparity is because jorge not marc was the direct title rival, partly it's because valentino was treating marc with kid gloves right until the second that he wasn't, which marc was seemingly entirely oblivious to. if anyone other than marc had said what he said in that presser, had then continued on with similar rhetoric during sachsenring, valentino would quite likely have gone nuclear. he's done it over less than that. his fondness for marc made him continue to exhibit uncharacteristic restraint... except that fondness unfortunately is what left valentino feeling so very betrayed when (to his eyes) marc could not leave well enough alone

i think the thing that gets me so bad with this last episode is that there was no consequences. everyone came back unharmed. like they fought a god of death and he was gone in like thirty minutes and everyone is vibing while eating pizza??

Maybe I'm just reading into it but the way this moment moves. Eddie steps forward, Tommy steps up to exactly where Eddie was, Buck turns to look where Eddie was, doesn't find what he was looking for but still finds something good. It's not just ep 4 and 5 where the focus on Eddie blows me away, it's also this.

Enough time has passed to where I think we can openly admit how WK has gone through seasonal rot within its previous 2 seasons and how the hype of Season 7 along with the generally positive reception is a really green flag for the show's quality.
