Believers should be aware of the dangers of Satan and his attempts to lead them astray from Allah. one thing I have learned about being poor is that you cannot for a moment stop thinking about it

#theres no peace #every little thing reminds me we are poor #seeing friends having electricity wifi heat food gas. it all costs money. and bills and fees and charges happen all the damn time #im constantly worried that i am measing up somehow or im not keeping track of my finances properly #the person handling our disability assistance application keeps coming back with question after question about my job #and i have so much doubt and fear that ive made some mistake in my answers that will disqualify us from support #and theres this sick backwards stupid thing where applying for and being on disability support is discouraging me from trying to make money #because the more i make the less likely we'll get support but i need to make money to live #its just fucked. and once we're on support i have to make monthly reports of my income so ill feel like im explaining myself all the fuckin #time #cus the system isnt built in a way that makes sense for self employed ppl who have business expenses to account for #sorry for the ranting i cant sleep #truly truly i think poverty is making me a worse persin #more anxious more resentful more jealous more miserable more spiteful #i have so little and there is so little i can do to help it #i want things in a more desparate and even childish way than i used to eant things #spend a lot more time fantasizing about magically having expendable income #not to mention the constant exponential guilt that comes from asking for help or recieving help. its guilt i need to unlearn but i feel it

#danny phantom #danny phantom spoilers #agit spoilers #ik I'm EXTREMELY simplifying it bc like. the real reason she's upset is that he lied to her from the start and even after he revealed that #she tried to trust him. after he lied to her and broke her heart and she broke up with him just to protect him from HIMSELF #and then a version of Danny that confirms everything she ever feared about him shows up #but he still has people convinced he's a good guy after all he did to her #and now he's on not-terrible terms with VLAD #who gave her her suit just so he could use her toward his own ends and lie to her #and he could've singlehandedly pulled her and her dad out of poverty but he didn't #she has a lot of valid reasons to be pissed and I'm excited to see how this will be addressed

okay i'll shut up about how dirty galar was done in journeys in a bit but eve and i were talking about this- it is SO depressing that galar actually made me dislike more galar pokemon than it made me appreciate them. sorry grookey and morpeko fans but i find those two incredibly annoying now because of the show's godawful choices with them and that's so unfair. especially since grookey is a starter- we're SUPPOSED to like that one

#tho ill admit i dislike morpeko significantly more bc of the ha ha starving in poverty jokes #i dont even like team rocket especially in this season but those jokes were just uncomfortably mean spirited #those jokes are in most seasons but it never got as bad as ''ha ha theyre crying and screaming bc theyre starving to death isnt that FUNNY'#grookey was just really annoying in most of its episodes and barely lived up to the galar starters before it #whereas the morpeko stuff was outright uncomfortable to sit through #echoed voice #anyways heres hoping horizons redeems grookey to me. i fear its too late for morpeko cause i already thought it was ugly

I always forget the general view of euthanasia is soo different for people outside of canada like an american leftist will be like euthanasia should be legalized its the morally correct option and im like EXCUSE ME??? before I remember in other countries it's mostly viewed as a humane choice for ppl who are terminally ill and already dying in a hospital etc

somehow canada decided it would be a good idea that anyone who is mentally ill or disabled or homeless or a drug addict has free access to killing themselves BEFORE they get any access to treatment or social services so euthanasia here is like..... seen as a bit of a conservative way of uhh encouraging poor people to kill themselves so we dont have to deal with them anymore <3 its not very popular in leftist circles

#people who are dying of terminal cancer who only have weeks/months to live choosing euthanasia is totally fine imo #encouraging anyone w/ mental health issues or who struggles with poverty to Just kill themselves because we dont have social supports #or a functional medical system to take care of them so them dying is literally easier. now that I dont agree with #canada getting a little too liberal w/ its use of euthanasia I fear #txt #tw suicide mention

FUCK. I hate having to make adult financial decisions.

#the problem is. TECHNICALLY I've been saving to move out #but until my monthly pay is 1. stable and 2. a lil better that is simply not a sustainable achievable goal #and now . i have enough money to actually afford lasik.#which i want very badly bc i hate wearing glasses cause it inhibits me doing activities i love and enjoy #but equally i fucking HATE spending money like i cant comprehend things being more than like. £100 #and this would be a 4 figure sum of money #thats. too many figures. and i feel like i shouldnt ever use it for something that isnt life threatening #but also it Would enable me to like... go to gigs. perform. work out. manage my migraines.#i just cant bring myself to spend money on a large scale. i remember not too long ago when i had less than £60 to my name in the world #having the ability to spend money on something just For Me thats more substantial than. say. a £30 gig ticket #is absolutely foreign to me #and it makes me sick with fear that if i ever spend it ill be two months from risking homelessness again even though #logically i know im in a stable home right now #anyway!!! poverty is traumatic as fuck and if jobs paid a real living wage for a weeks work maybe i would be able to be normal about this!!!
