Hegie, aside: I broke it. It burned my hand so I punched it. I predict ten minutes from now they'll be at each other's throats with war paint on their faces and a pig head on a stick.

Me, to this day, every time I see an FE Three Houses' character's full name:

i don't get why anyone would even care about ike × ranulf when ikesoren is right there. The ikesoren dynamic is WAY more interesting and their paired ending makes way more sense in canon than ike×ranulf. Ikesoren has a commonly agreed upon ship name too. Also the Ikesorulf poly ship is singlehandedly carried by the Ikesoren dynamic and Ranulf just feels hastily slapped onto there. Not to mention Ranulf's ugly ass homophobic eyes.

I’m talking about how many Zelda games let you name Link whatever you want or the fact that the FE Awakening protagonist is canonically Robin but you can name them whatever you want.

by protagonist i mean player character if that is not clear. the main character in the story
