Want to know everything that's ever happened in Project Sekai but don't have time to read all those stories? Guess what! For the low, low price of "it seems fun", I'll be summarizing every single event!
Feel free to request any summaries or card stories you'd like to see summarized. You may also submit your own summaries, if you'd like! Use the forms found in this post to do so :)
You can also join our Discord, where we can collaborate on writing summaries and manage requests! (or just come say hi :) )
If you have a question about any of the stories as well, feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer! (Or just come and say hi :3)
If you'd like to use any of these summaries as part of a project (i.e. video essay, character analysis, etc.), you are more than welcome to! Just please credit this blog when you do so, since I do put a lot of work into each.
I try my best to get 1-2 summaries out a week, but i’m a busy college student doing this in my spare time, so things might be slow!
Masterpost links below the cut. All summaries will be tagged by unit, character appearances, and special type, if applicable.
THE ULTIMATE MASTERPOST SPREADSHEET

Saki's Prayers Soaring Into the Sky 4* card and card story contains multiple references to her Abyss of Memories 4* card. Firstly, the untrained of both cards feature paper cranes. In Japan, folding 1000 paper cranes is a way for people to wish for a seriously ill person to get better, which is why they can be seen on Saki's untrained Abyss of Memories card set when she was in hospital. Folding 1000 paper cranes can also be used for any wish though, which is the purpose they serve in Saki's untrained Prayers Soaring Into the Sky card, where she wished for her songs and feelings to be able to reach Leo/need's fans.
The most obvious link between both trained cards is the bathtub. In the Abyss of Memories card, the overflowing water symbolises her (then) seemingly unending suffering, and the bath and bathroom are filled with things she wasn't able to use when she was in hospital. In her Prayers Soaring Into the Sky card, the bath is still overflowing, but is now filled with flowers. Some of these flowers include pink roses, yellow roses (symbolising friendship), and sunflowers (symbolising longevity), putting a much more positive spin on the overflowing water imagery. All 3 flowers can symbolise happiness as well.
Tumblr media
Some other things from Saki's Abyss of Memories trained card can be spotted in her Fragment SEKAI. These include her suitcase, sunhat, and some of the paper cranes. Saki was unable to go on holiday when she was younger, hence why her unused holiday items were included in the older card. Her SEKAI being set at a holiday resort more than likely links to this idea.

Something about Tsukasa, the most show-off character ever, who always stands out and has so many of these flashy card, getting a fes card that's surprisingly... simple. Domestic. ""Plain"" even, in comparison to what we were used to (mostly the trained version but some could argue the untrained as well)
I know we were expecting something grand like Tsukasa himself and I see a lot of people being disappointed but honestly... I think this fits a lot actually. This might've just been the best choice for Tsukasa' fes
Because really, under all that attitude and boldness and showing off, Tsukasa's dream and feelings are kind of... simple. To make people smile. To be a world famous star, yes, but that's only the means to the goal of making everyone around the world happy
This is one of the most important developments of Tsukasa from how he was in the main story. Being a star is NOT just being a great, famous actor to him – he's proven it countless times. It's obviously a very big part of it, but if it was just about acting then why does he also constantly reference to being a "star" in more "mundane" situations unrelated to acting?
A star inspires. A star makes his sister smile. A star doesn't worry those around him. A star helps those in need. A star guides those who are lost. A star would choose to save the amusement park that makes everyone happy and means the world to his best friend instead of trying to win a contest to gain fame. These aren't exactly things related to being an actor or a celebrity
It's more as if a part of being a "star" is... being like a big brother?
Tsukasa's whole dream stemmed from just him wanting to make Saki smile; shows were just what proved to be something that could achieve it. Is it really such a surprise then that this is what his goal revolves around as well? What he believes a "star" should be when they're not on a stage? And what his fragment SEKAI bases on?
Not on being a flashy, famous star in the spotlight. But on being the person you can rely on that will take care of your worries and turn your frown upside down. Someone you will look at and think of home. And that's something so simple and domestic, and something I feel like is reflected really nicely in his trained fes
Hell, his outfit is called "Kind Brother" too. Because that's who Tsukasa is first and foremost, to himself

If that isn't enough proof than idk what else is

Tenma Tsukasa "The Way Back Home for You and Me" Fes Card Story Summary
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fan translation (Tsukasa's Number 3 Fan)
Tumblr media
Part 1: Wonderlands x Showtime debrief after a practice involving emotion-based improv. Once reaching the station, Emu and Nene head off to go shopping while Tsukasa asks Rui for advice on how to understand side character's narratives. Tsukasa wants to be able to imagine the stories of characters different to himself more. Rui suggests practicing with a simpler story: picture books.
At home, Tsukasa digs through his shelf and finds an old book he'd used to read to Saki often: "A Way Back Home for You and Me". The story follows two young siblings. After their good friend and neighbor suddenly had to move, the older brother decides to cheer up his little sister by walking to visit their new house. Tsukasa had idolized the brother in that book, but he still doesn't know what kind of expression he had made once finally reaching their destination since his back was turned in the illustration and the only dialogue was the sister saying, "Big bro, you're making such a weird face!".
Tsukasa decides to read the book to find the answer. Suddenly, his phone flashes, transporting him into SEKAI. He finds a glowing ball lying around and assumes the plushies had left it out. When he goes to put it away for them, it transports him to a strange place.
Part 2: Tsukasa assumes he's dreaming and pinches himself. When it hurts, he realizes it's real. A young girl and boy race in front of him, so he stops them from racing into the street and crashing into a biker. Tsukasa immediately recognizes the two as the main characters from his picture book, Meg and Hero. Tsukasa decides to accompany the two to learn more about the story. He tells them about his own sister to convince them. Tsukasa notes that he shouldn't interfere much to not accidentally alter the story.
However, after walking around for an hour, Meg gets sleepy. She asks Hero for a piggyback ride, to which the brother agrees, even though he's extremely tired himself. Despite his plan to not interfere, Tsukasa offers to carry Meg instead so Hero doesn't hurt himself. He does a little dance to prove his energy, cheering the both of them up. Even if this means Tsukasa won't figure out what that "weird face" is, he'd rather see the two kids smile.
Tsukasa delivered the two kids to their friend's house safe and sound. He realizes there that he never needed to see what that expression was: he already knows it. Tsukasa praises Hero for being a good big brother and tells him to hold back the tears, since his little sister and friend are watching.
Tsukasa is transported back to the main SEKAI, where he finds Miku. Miku explains what a Fragment of Feelings is and asks if it was a scary place. Tsukasa reassures her that it was exactly where he needed to go.

Okay, so as resident Tsukasa fan (an original title i know), I actually really like this card. I know the fes cards are usually big and glamorous but I find it kind of nice that the character who’s most likely to get the big, grand card just has a domestic simple one.
I also love his hairstyle.
Like it’s so casual and when put against Saki and Emu, it’s pretty normal, looking more like a card from a mixed unit event than a fes card.
It’s such a nice contrast to all his showstopping cards like kingkasa, jesterkasa, etc. because it shows how much normalcy made him want to reach for the stars and well, be a star. That at the end of the day. Underneath his path to stardom. It all boils down to his childhood. To his family. To Saki. To the simple dream of making everyone smile even in outlandish ways.
That’s how i feel but i’m curious about other people’s povs because twitter (for the most part) is ripping this to shreds. 😭🙏🏻
