So, I’m sure most of us have those CVS rewards cards, and if you don’t than you’re missing out! I always had one but never really knew what the point of it was until I stumbled upon Tati’s Madness Monday video! She has a few of these couponing videos, and they taught me everything I know.

Today, I went online to check out the CVS weekly ad and took note of all the deals going on. While BOGO’s are great, the ones that give you extrabucks back are going to be the most useful ones. I had $13 worth of extrabucks going into this week, as well as a $3 off of $10 worth of Milani, and $4 off of any L’oreal True Match powder or foundation. Here’s a breakdown of all the deals I took Advantage of:

Deals in the Weekly Advertisement!

Deal One: Physician’s Formula- Spend $20 and get $10 in extrabucks

I picked out the Mineral Glow Pearls in shade one, and the Eye Booster 2 in 1 Lash Boosting Liner and Serum (Big claims!).Because Physician’s Forumula is slightly pricier than other drugstore brands, it was a little harder to just spend $20 or $21 in order to get the money back, so my grand total for the two items was around $28. Using the $13 in extrabucks, I only ended up spending $15 and got the $10 back!

  Deal Two: Maybelline- Buy any 2 Maybelline Products and get $5 in extrabucks

For this deal, I stuck to things I knew I already liked- a ColorSensational Lipstick in Pink Sand (005), and the Baby Skin pore minimizing primer. The total for this came out to $17. Use the $10 you got from the Physicians Formula deal and knock down the price to $7 and get the $5 back!

  Deal Three: L’oreal- Spend $12 and get $4 in extrabucks

I picked up the ProGlow Foundation in shade 201 (I already have shades 203 and 204 for when I’m tan, and since I love it so much and Fall is coming, I decided I wanted my winter shade too) and the matching concealer. The foundation alone would have qualified for this deal, but I really wanted to try the concealer as well, so I did end up spending a little more than someone would if they were strictly going after basic deals and free makeup. The total was $26, subtract the $5 from Maybelline, and you have a $21 total with $4 in extrabucks

Miscellaneous Coupons!

 $3 off of $10 worth of Milani Cosmetics and $4 any L’oreal True Match Product

I got the Bronzer XL All Over Glow in the shade Fake Tan (02) for $11. Subtract the $3 Coupon and the $4 extrabucks from L’oreal, and your total drops from $11 to $4. Then, I picked up the L’oreal True Match setting powder (shade n1) for $12. Subtract the $4 from the coupon which brings us down to $8, leading to a total of $12 for both of these products. BUT I visited the magic coupon machine in the front of the store, entered my phone number, and got ANOTHER coupon for $10 off $20 worth of cosmetics. Because the total of the Milani Bronzer and L’oreal powder was over $20 before the coupons were applied, I only end up paying $2.

Grand Total: $94 worth of makeup for $45!

Keep in mind that this process does take multiple transactions, and depending on how crowded your local CVS is and what kind of cashier you get, you might get a few glares. But, I’d rather save $50 and get a few nasty looks than miss out on all these savings! I will be uploading a video on this Tuesday or Wednesday, because it can be a little hard to keep track of all the transactions just by reading, and I’ll be going into more detail on the products I got and what I think of them!
