BREAKING: "YES, I'VE BEEN IN LOVE... ONCE" - ANYA OPENS UP AND GRACES COVER OF SOGUE MAGAZINE'S 150TH ANNIVERSARY ISSUE
Strike a pose! Covergirl Crown Princess Anya`stuns on the cover of Brindleton Sogue's special 150th anniversary issue.
The issue has been kept hush-hush until its release today. The swanky publication is currently celebrating its 150th anniversary, and what better way to mark such a milestone than to have the future Queen grace the cover... again. This is the second time that HRH has featured on the cover of the posh magazine.
The voluminous issue also includes wonderful new photos of the Crown Princess, taken in various picturesque locations around Brindleton. Her Royal Highness also very noticeably let down her natural curls and wore very few pieces of jewellery and minimal make-up for the feature. Crown Princess Anya's "stripped bare" hair and make-up are in stark contrast with the dramatic ballgowns she wore for the shoot.
Perhaps more importantly, however, Her Royal Highness sat down with the magazine's editor-in-chief for a very intimate conversation. The interview is said to be Anya's most honest and candid interview to date, and that's saying a lot, considering that the royals very rarely agree to be interviewed. The Crown Princess answered questions on her family, her work, and finding love. Snippets of the article are reproduced and translated below:
Your Royal Highness, for what seems like years now, there have been speculations on certain, shall we say, disagreements between you and some members of the Family. The... discord... has caused multiple speculations, and some would even argue that it has affected the public's trust on the monarchy. How are things now within the Family?
At the core of it all, we are a family - much like yours and everyone else's. Perhaps what sets my family apart is the fact that we live under constant scrutiny, and with that, the tiniest things are magnified to the point of being ridiculous.
Yes, there have been arguments, and yes there have been fights but at the end of the day, we all take a step back and remind ourselves that we are a family, and much importantly, we owe it to the people to ensure that the monarchy is in safe hands. We're good. We're solid. We're very much a team. I love my parents, and I love my siblings. It's not always as dramatic as everyone sets it out to be.
So I suppose it's safe to say that all is well with The Harvelles?
What exactly is "well?" *laughs* They seem very happy with their lives, and I'm quite content with mine. I wish them, to use your word, "well." Really, I do. They have a lovely little daughter, and I'm quite certain I'm the least of their worries. I'm sure they'd rather spend time with each other that concern themselves with what other people are saying about my relationship with them.
Speaking of, YRH, have you seen your niece? Have you met her?
Of course... during the odd family gatherings and dinners, when we all come over to the big house. I find it quite entertaining how everyone's painting me out to be the evil aunt. I think she's a darling little girl. And of course, I've met her, yes.
You're to take on a very massive challenge next year, vying for gold at the World Sports Festival. How are the preparations going?
I'd like to think it's going quite swimmingly, and I hope my coach doesn't disagree. *laughs* I won't be taking a leave of absence for training; I don't think the current workload allows it, but I do make sure to free up some time to get on the saddle. I love horses, and I've been riding since I was a child, so my training - gruelling as it may be on certain days - isn't really that much of a hardship for me. I enjoy it, really.
I also love training with the rest of the Brindleton Team. I've made lots of new friends and I'm very proud to see so many gifted young athletes represent our country.
It's been a while since you last completed professionally, what made you decide to compete again?
It's alway been a dream to bag the gold at the Festival and bring it home to Brindleton. So for me, it's now or never. I'm not getting any younger, and I realised that if I want to try and achieve that dream, I should get my act together and get back on the horse, figuratively and literally.
Since you brought it up, I hope you don't mind my asking, YRH, but there has been much speculation about your, shall I say, lack of prospects, and those write-ups came right after your birthday. Does that affect you in anyway?
When did I bring this up? *laughs* Ah, yes. I've heard about that. Mostly, I laugh it off. I know I'm no spring chicken *laughs* but these things... they can't be rushed, you know? Do I wish people would stop talking about my private life? Yes. Do I expect them to? No.
I know my place and I am very much aware that it's part of the job. This role, this life I'm born into... it's...well, I know what it entails. Let's just leave it at that.
Since I'm being so bold, I'll take my chances - have you ever been in love?
My, my. That is bold. They warned me about you. *laughs* Yes. Of course. Yes, I've been in love... once. But it was ages ago. It feels like a lifetime ago. It was beautiful and glorious, and most importantly, it was mine, ours. But you know, life happens, things change. You grow up. It is, however, something I look back very fondly on. I feel lucky to have experienced that.
And now? Are you looking for love?
No. Not actively anyway. I'd love to, but I can't afford to. And I promise you not every man who crosses my path fancies me. *laughs*
No, I... I believe things will fall into place when it's supposed to. Gosh, I sound like such a sap. *laughs* No... it's just that... I had it once... and you know, I grew up surrounded by love, by two people who are very much in love. So if it's not like what my mum and dad has, I don't want it.
That's fair enough.
Isn't it? I feel like that's a very small and reasonable demand. *laughs*
Finally, Your Royal Highness, What do you think shall be seen as your greatest legacy Crown Princess of Brindleton?
I really don't know. That's a very difficult question to answer, but if I were to free to hope, I hope it's my work with the youth. It's very important that we give our children, our teenagers - girls, especially - a fair and equal chance in life. And I'd like to think I've made an impact on that regard. I am very passionate about supporting children's well-being with a focus on their mental health, especially our teens because it's a very crucial point in one's life.
Don't you just love how Anya and her siblings call the palace "the big house"? And for once, it's refreshing to not speculate about something that our royals did or did not do! Case in point: Anya HAS met her niece, contrary to the ongoing rumour that she has been snubbing poor little Lady Ella.
However, we can't help but wonder who exactly was The Crown Princess' one true love? Could it be Mario? Or Dr. Greg? Maybe even tennis pro Sterling? But then again, she did mention that it was a while back... so it couldn't possible be her footballer ex. Curiouser and curiouser... Leave it to Anya to actually share her secrets and yet leave us wanting more!
The issue has been selling incredibly fast, and major retailers have already reportedly sold out. And it's no wonder! It's so rare that we get to hear directly from our royals (especially notoriously tight-lipped Anya), so this issue is, indeed, a must-have and a must-read for all royal fans out there!

PHOTOSHOOT 1 (cast 1)
This week the girls did Covergirl campaigns for their eyeliner and lipstick lines! The winner from each cast will have their campaign as a real ad!
CAST 1
WIKTORIA
Hi, Wiki! You are so effortlessly beautiful and your features really shine in this photo. This is a great angle for you. The problem is that you are so expressionless and lifeless. You look sad and bored. I would love to see a more enthusiastic photo next time.
GAVRILA
Gavrila, when we accepted you into ZSNTM, it was because of your striking face, personality, and portfolio. But absolutely none of that comes through here. Its kind of a let-down, considering how beautiful you are. But the way your a hunched over gives you bad posture, and you just look weird? It's nothing like you in real life.
ZORA
Zora, your expression is so fierce! You really know how to work your face. Your pose though could use some work. You're closing yourself up, and the hand looks a little awkward. But your face looks amazing, and you are selling that make-up which overall matters quite a bit more in this time of campaign.
VIVA
Viva, I don't feel anything when i look at this photo. You don't feel like a model to me. I'm not loving this angle. The way you're looking down looks awkward to me. There's something about it that's just not right, but I just can't tell what it is.
CHAUSIKU
Chausiku, the picture in the mirror is absolutely stunning. You clearly now how to work your face, and I'm not hating your pose either. Then, I look to the left, and you look completely different, and it really distracts me. You have to be aware of how your face looks from all angles, and which side is facing the camera. Otherwise, a really beautiful shot.
RINZEN
Rinzen, what are you doing here? I feel no energy from this photo whatsoever. Your pose is very basic with a hand on the hip, and your face looks angry. This feels very low-effort, and a high fashion model can't pull something like this. This isn't the Rinzen I accepted into the show. You need to step it up.
ELISA
Elisa, you look very soft and beautiful here. Your face looks amazing, and you look magical! But your pose comes off as nervous. I would've liked you to put your arm down. But I love this anyway!
MONICA
Monica, this angle really shows how you botched your hair. If you care about modelling you need to be less impulsive and start caring for your looks. Let the professionals handle it next time. As for the picture, I don't hate it, but I absolutely don't love it either. I would've liked to see something more fierce.

Marcille also toured extensively to promote the album, performing at several music festivals across the country. After taking a break from music for a few years, Marcille returned in 2018 with her second studio album ‘Songs of Eva’.
Despite receiving generally positive reviews, the album failed to make much impact commercially due to lack of promotion. Nonetheless, Marcille has continued to pursue her musical career over the years and is currently working on new material.
Her estimated net worth stands at around $2 million dollars, mainly accumulated through her reality television appearances and music career.
With an ever expanding portfolio of business ventures, there’s no doubt that this figure will continue to rise in coming years.
Eva Marcille’s estimated net worth currently stands at a whopping $2.5 million, and it continues to grow with her many business ventures.
One of the most successful was the launch of her own clothing line in 2018. The collection included stylish lounge-wear for women that sold out within its first week on the market.
She has also partnered up with major fashion brands like Revlon and Pantene to help promote their products. |
In addition to these partnerships, she is also an ambassador for several different charities and organizations such as Mentoring USA and Dress For Success.
These efforts have helped her become even more successful in her career while making a positive impact in the world around her.

Seconding the above about Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink, AND ALSO: the way I deal with the stickiness is to lightly blot the excess with tissue and then dab with a tiny bit of translucent setting powder. It increases the matte/flat effect and dries it all the way down without severely affecting the color. Use a wide plush brush like for blush or foundation, and tap off as much of the powder as possible before tapping it across your lips. I haven’t had issues with feathering at all, but sometimes I will line with a clear liner just to be safe.
(I am one of those people who wears lip color to be ~fancy~ or if it is Expected For Professional Reasons, so I like something I can apply once and forget it for the rest of the day. The SuperStay is the best option I’ve found so far, though I admittedly have not sprung for Beauty Bakerie yet and have heard excellent things about them.)
You can also use the clear topcoat that comes with the Maybelline 24-hr lip stain or Covergirl lip stain, but those do require re-application as the day goes on. (Both of those lip stains also work just fine as drugstore options, but I’ve found they don’t have the staying power of the SuperStay for all day wear.)
Hey R. C., unless I'm confusing you with someone else -- did you used to have a master list of all your favorite (red) lipsticks? Search function is operating as usual, which is to say, not at all, and my go-to fave was recently discontinued 😭 any chance you could help a girl out?
Nope, that was me! But it's been quite some time since I posted about lipstick, so thank you for giving me a reason. For anyone new around here, I wear lipstick every single day. Even when I'm not going to be seeing anyone. It's just part of my face now. So, it's safe to say that I definitely have some opinions when it comes to lipstick.
This is by no means a comprehensive list, so if you have any recs of your own, please leave them in the replies!
R.C.'s Lipstick Recs for 2023
Best in Show: Beauty Bakerie
I haven't made my love and devotion for this brand a secret. 99% of the lipstick I've worn over the last 10 years has been Beauty Bakerie's lip whips. These liquid mattes are the end all be all, as far as I'm concerned. If you apply them correctly and let them dry down (using a hair dryer on the cool shot setting will set your lipstick in record time!), you'll get upwards of 12-15 hours of insanely pigmented wear—even after eating the greasiest of foods, and you won't feel like you're wearing anything at all. My best time was 19 hours before it started flaking.
Best red: Mon Cheri
Best non-red: Gingersnap (my new favorite since I dyed my hair forest green)
Best Non-Liquid Matte: NARS Velvet Matte Pencil
If it's been hours and my Mon Cheri lip whip is starting to disappear around the inside of my mouth, I immediately use my NARS Velvet Matte Pencil in the shade Mysterious Red (a perfect match) to tide me over. The NARS pencil is a beautifully pigmented, long-lasting matte that isn't drying and doesn't tend to bleed or feather.
Best red: Mysterious Red or Cruella
Best non-red: Promiscuous
Best Non-Matte: Smashbox Be Legendary Prime & Plush
I was bopping around Ulta one day (as one does) when I happened to see this on display. It swatched so beautifully on my wrist that I couldn't leave without it. Plus I had some Ulta points, which made the price tag a little easier to bear. It's an incredibly luxurious lipstick, but be careful of how soft it is: it can break easily. This is one you should apply with a brush.
Best red: Bawse
Best High End: Lancome L'Absolu Rouge
I had some Macy's Money to burn and I decided to splurge a little. This isn't a cheap lipstick. At $35, it's one of the priciest lippies I've ever treated myself to (I'm a cheap bitch, what can I say). But, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for, and what you pay for is a beautifully moisturizing lipstick with incredible color payoff. Also it smells really nice.
Best red: Rouge Badaboum
Best Drugstore Liquid Matte: Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink
Completely out of character for me, but I was actually looking for a bright 80s pink when I decided to give this a whirl. I was so impressed with the color payoff and the staying power that I went back and bought it in a red shade. Be warned: despite its longevity, it's a very sticky matte. I have pretty good luck drying it down with the blow dryer, but it takes time and patience. It will get less sticky the longer you wear it.
Best red: Exhilirator
Best non-red: Romantic
Best Drugstore Non-Liquid Matte: NYX Suede Matte
I used to be crazy about NYX's Full Throttle mattes back in the day, but I think they were discontinued, which is a shame. The Suede Matte isn't quite as long-lasting as the Full Throttle was, but it's a beautifully pigmented and non-drying matte. And for $7.99, you really can't complain. I would wear this with a lip pencil to help prevent feathering.
Best red: Spicy
Best Drugstore Non-Matte: Maybelline Color Sensational Made For All
Okay, I confess: I only bought it because I was in CVS and needed to spend a certain amount of money to use a coupon, but I was pleasantly surprised! I don't really wear this one, but I did think it was beautiful when I put it on. You can be the judge.
Best red: Crimson Race
Best Lipstain: ColourPOP Fresh Kiss Glossy Stain
Lipstick is applied as a layer on top of the lips, but lipstains are meant to be absorbed by the lips so the color lasts longer. I don't tend to wear stains, but I really like how they look on other people. I've only tried a few, but the best one I found was ColourPOP's (with Fenty's Poutsicle coming in at a close second). I'm a sucker for ColourPOP's packaging and they were so cute in Target that I couldn't resist.
Best red: Cherry Up
