Y/N remained silent, her eyes now fixed on the floor covered by the shag carpet, the older man took a deep breath, swallowing the lump that formed in his throat. He walked over to the smallest one and put the photo in his pants pocket, promising himself to look for others like it deep in the house.

Your other colleagues who were previously envious now delight in your embarrassment. They make fun of you behind your back, asking each other questions like how can she possibly find pants big enough for those thighs and making comments like if she’s this big before pregnancy wait until her husband wants kids! As each day passes, their joy grows, your body grows, and the power of the once immensely powerful sexpot wanes.
Yes, each and every day you eat more than your body needs, and each and every day you become more normal. That body that could once seduce such large swaths of men no longer turns as many heads. Each day you become more approachable. You’re helpless. Helpless to stop eating, helpless to stop growing, helpless to hold on to all that sex appeal you once had.

Third and finale part to Rough Day and Bonding Exercise.
Summary: Charlie is ecstatic her bonding exercise idea worked. Though, it might have worked a little too well, as she, Vaggie, and Alastor soon find out.

“Are you okay, Angel?” Charlie asked as she patted his side. Said spider was currently curled up on himself, trying to get rid of any lingering ticklish sensations.
“F-Fucking… peachy Charlie.” The pornstar replied, waving one of his many hands. “You’re both evil.”
“C’mon, like you didn’t enjoy yourself.” Vaggie teased, which made Angel’s face go slightly pink. “Otherwise you would have asked us to stop sooner.”
“Oh, fuck off!”
Charlie couldn’t help but laugh at the scene before her.
“Oh, you think this is funny, princess?” Angel Dust asked, a mischievous look in his eyes. “I’ll give ya something to laugh about!”
Before Hell’s Princess could react, the spider’s hands were already upon her, his upper ones tickling her ribs, while his lower ones squeezed her sides. The reaction was immediate, Charlie letting the giggles flow out of her. She kind of expected this retaliation, but it was okay. That was the point of the exercise!
“W-Wahhahaait Ahahahahangel!”
“Wait for what? For ya to tickle me again? Fat chance!”
Charlie squealed, kicking her legs out as she did. It was obvious to see that the Princess of Hell was enjoying this little ‘exercise’, laughing her heart out and not even trying to push the spider away. Vaggie couldn’t help but chuckle in response. It was no secret that Charlie loved silly activities like this, given the many tickle fights the two had during their three years together.
“Don’t bully my girlfriend too much.” Vaggie warned, getting a bit closer to watch Charlie.
“Oh, I won’t.” Angel said, removing the arms on his left side from Charlie. “After all, there’s two people I need to get back.”
That was all the warning the bodyguard got as both Angel’s left hands started tickling her. She jolted from the touch, biting her lip and trying not to laugh. Vaggie was the bodyguard of the hotel, for fuck’s sake, she couldn’t let anyone know (save for Charlie who already knew), that she was ticklish! But damn Angel and his extra hands! It was unfair!
“Didn’t think I could focus on two people at once~?” Angel asked, moving his hands toward Vaggie’s stomach. “Do you even know me?”
“Anahahahahangel yoohohoohhoh diihihihihck!” Vaggie cried out, causing the spider to gasp in mock shock.
“A dick? Now is that any way to talk to someone who’s making you and cha cha laugh~?”
“Vahahahahahggihihihie beheheheh nihihihihice!”
“Sthahahahahay ohohohohout ohohohof thihihihis, Chahahaharlie!”
“Uh oh, the girls are fighting~”
It was completely unfair that Angel could tickle both of them at once! While the hands on his right side started moving to Charlie’s hips, the hands on his left went toward Vaggie’s ribs. The spider then decided to switch it up, using both his upper arms to slowly drag on the bodyguard’s ribs, while his lower ones drilled into the Princess’ hips.
The reactions he got were very promising.
“ANAHAHAHAHNGEL IIHIIHIHHIH’M GOHOOHOHHING TO FUUHUHUHCKING KIHIHIHIHLL YOOHOHOHU!”
“WAHAHAHAIT WAHAHAIT-” *bleat!*
“Oh my fucking God.” Angel’s face broke into a wide, evil grin. “You fucking bleated! Like a damn goat!”
“DOHOHOHOHON’T THEHEHHEEASE MEHEHEHEHE!”
“Hey, either of you ever heard the ‘itsy bitsy spider’ song~?”
"DOOHOHOHOHOHON'T!" Both girls pleaded.
"Man, you both make this too easy~"

“Well, Husker, I have to say that was quite entertaining!” Alastor mused as the bartender caught his breath.
“May…Maybe for you, you sadistic asshole.” Husk said, glaring slightly at the Overlord, who simply shrugged.
“You can’t deny you’ve enjoyed yourself, Husker.” The Radio Demon teased, that smug grin never leaving his face.
“Well, I’m about to enjoy this a lot more.” The bartender said, still glaring at Alastor, but now with a malicious smile.
Before Alastor could react, Husk’s tail had wrapped around his ankle, dragging the taller demon over to him. The Overlord quickly realized what was about to happen, trying to free himself from the cat demon’s grasp.
“Don’t do anything you’ll regret.” Alastor warned, his normally terrifying smile twitching into a more nervous one.
“Big talk for someone who’s just as sensitive.” Husk teased, before poking at the deer’s sides.
The reaction was instant, Alastor freezing up before biting his lip. He really should have seen this coming, and perhaps he did. Afterall, if he truly hated it, he would have already teleported out of Husk’s hold, or mauled the bartender for even daring to try. Still, that didn’t mean he’d actually admit that, as he tried to shove Husk off him.
“R-Rehehehelease me at on-AHAHAHAHA!”
Husk’s hands made their way to Alastor’s hips, digging his claws into the sensitive area. The Radio Demon’s laughter poured out in earnest as he tried to grab Husk’s hands. The bartender simply kneaded his hands a bit harder into the deer’s hips, causing another scream of laughter.
“Damn, boss, no wonder you hate being touched.” Husk hummed “Imagine people finding out you’re this ticklish.”
“Huhuhuhusker! Dohohohohn’t tehehehease me!” Alastor exclaimed, kicking his legs a bit.
“What? You think I’m stupid enough to tease you?” Husk asked, greatly amused. “I’m just stating some facts, boss.”
Alastor attempted to protest, but he was cut off by the feeling of the feathered end of Husk’s tail tickling his stomach, making him shriek. He could feel it even through his shirt, the Radio Demon’s stomach was just that ticklish. Alastor mentally cursed Charlie for this ridiculous bonding idea, despite the fact he agreed to it.
Husk, meanwhile, hummed a bit as he poked and prodded at his boss’ hips, deciding to torment him there for a few more moments. Alastor then felt him stop, though the bartender’s tail was still tickling his stomach, before feeling Husk turn toward his legs. A screech of panicked radio static came from his throat.
“H-Huhuhuhusker wahahait! W-Whehehhe cahahaan tahahahalk about thihihihis!” Alastor attempted to plead as the bartender took off his shoes.
“Sure, you talk Boss.” Husk said, turning to give the Radio Demon a grin. “And I’ll tickle.”
The way Alastor howled as Husk slowly dragged his claws up and down the deer hooves was almost enough to make the bartender worry people would think he was killing the deer, until pleas of laughter burst forth, Alastor’s voice switching between radio static and his actual voice. It probably didn’t help matters that his tail was still tickling his boss’ stomach.
“You know, you can blame Rosie for me knowing this.” Husk told the Radio Demon, chuckling at his reactions.
“IHIHIHIHIH’M GOOHOHOHHING TOHOHOHOH EHEHEHEND HEHEHEHEER!”
“No you won’t.”
Alastor hated when Husk was right. He could never truly stay mad at the Cannibal Overlord for long, even if she had betrayed him and told both his ‘employees’ of his ticklish nature, and where to tickle to get him screaming. Despite it all, the deer could feel his tail wagging slightly under his coat, another reason he kept it hidden.
“Hey, you were giving me shit about my wings before, but your hooves are even worse off.” Husk mused, pressing into the pads. “Maybe I should tell Niffty about that~”
“IIHIHIHIH WOHOHOOHOHN’T HIHIHIIHIF YOOHOHOHOU WOOHOHOHN’T!” Alastor pleaded.
“Sure you won’t.” Husk chuckled. “You won’t directly tell her anything, but I know you, fucker. You’ll drop hints about it to her.”
“NOHOHOHOH IHIHIHIHDEHEHEHEA WHAHAHAHAT YOOHOHOHU MEHEHEHEAN!”
“Maybe I should tell her to clean your ears too, make sure you can actually hear shit.”
“HUHUHUHUHUSKER!”

Once Angel Dust and Husk had decided their revenge was thoroughly gotten, they had let their victims go. All five of them then met up with each other on the way back to the hotel lobby. Vaggie and Charlie had their hands on each other’s hips, Angel and Husk were walking close together, while Alastor simply strode close by, using his microphone as a cane.
“I mean, I also need to get Niffty back for tickling me in the first place.” Angel said, chuckling at the idea.
“Tough shit, legs.” Husk began, slightly amused by Angel’s confused expression. “She ain’t ticklish.”
“Bullshit!”
“I’m afraid it’s true, my arachnid companion.” Alastor butted in, twisting his head toward the spider’s direction. “Our darling little Niffty isn’t the slightest bit ticklish!”
“Dammit!” Angel huffed. “That’s just unfair! Someone small and dangerous like her shouldn’t have that much power!”
“Try telling that to him.” Husk said, nodding his head toward Alastor’s direction.
“I’m insulted you think it’s my fault she’s like this.” Alastor said, placing a hand to his chest in mock hurt.
“Remind me not to give her any excuse to try with us, then.” Vaggie said tiredly. “Also you want to talk about unfair? How about the fact you have four arms?!”
“Six.” Angel corrected, popping out his third set of arms, which waved to the bodyguard, before pulling them back into his body. “Be happy I didn’t decide to use them on you and cha cha.”
“Though, I assume for balance, all of your underarms are terribly ticklish?” Alastor asked, his grin spreading wider as Angel sputtered in response, the pornstar’s face turning pink.
Before Angel could come up with a good comeback, all of them heard the sounds of someone screaming. They ran toward the source, each ready to fight whatever or whoever was attacking someone, only to be surprised by the sight of Niffty, dusting off Sir Pentious like she had done to Angel earlier.
“Ssssoohohohohomeohhohone gehehehehet hehehher ohohohohff ohohohohf mehehehe!” The snake pleaded, trying his best to grab the agile maid.
“You’re dirty!” Niffty replied, moving the duster toward his hood.
“Miihihihihisss Boohohohohmb, pleheheheesssehehhe hehehelp!”
“Nah, you’re on your own, mate.” Cherri Bomb replied, the others having not noticed her due to Sir Pentious’ reaction. She noticed them though. “Angie! Ya bitch, care to explain why tiny here is on a cleanin’ crusade?”
“She’s always like that.” Angel told her.
“Bloody ace.” Cherri replied sarcastically. “Pen and I just got back and apparently the shelia’s offended by how ‘dirty’ we are.”
“NOOHOHHOOT THEHEHEHERE!” Sir Pentious squealed as Niffty got to his neck.
“Well, perhaps this is an opportunity.” Alastor said, grinning.
“For what?” Husk asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Well, our newest residents haven’t joined in on our little ‘bonding’ exercise!” Alastor said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. “It wouldn’t be fair to let them miss out, after all!”
“Oohoho, you hear that, sugar tits?” Angel asked, wiggling his fingers at Cherri, who immediately reacted.
“Angie, I’m fuckin’ warnin’ ya!” She said, going on the defensive. “I’ll make sure ya bloody regret it!”
“I’ll take my chances.”
“Especially since he won’t be the only one helping.” Vaggie said with a grin, immediately tackling the cyclops. “Consider this revenge for blowing up our wall last week.”
“You’re still whingin’ about that?!”
“It did take some time for us to fix it.” Alastor mused, though instead of heading over to Cherri, he instead made his way toward Sir Pentious. “Niffty darling, may Husker and I be of assistance?”
“Of course, Alastor!” niffty said excitedly, ceasing her ticklish onslaught temporarily.
Sir Pentious caught his breath. “T-thank you, misssster Radio Demon ssssssssir.”
“Oh ho, don’t thank me yet.” Alastor said with a teasing tone. “Consider this revenge for ruining my coat, and for trying to spy on us for the Vees.”
“He did what?!” Husk exclaimed.
“Oops, did no one tell you~?” Alastor asked.
“Now guys, we aren’t doing this to be mean.” Charlie tried to plead, but she couldn’t deny her own mischievous grin growing on her face. “Even if it is a kind way to punish them.”
“Oooh, Princess has a dark side~?” Cherri asked. “Kink- whahahaait!”
“Don’t talk about my girlfriend like that.” Vaggie growled as she dug her hands into the cyclops’ armpits. “Only I get to talk to her like that~”
“Wow, you struck a nerve, Cherri.” Angel said with a chuckle, coming over and grabbing Cherri’s arms to pull them up and out of Vaggie’s way. “After you, vagina.”
“Getting you back for that later.” Vaggie threatened.
“Ahahahahanghiihihihe yohohohoohu cuhuhuhuhunt!”
Charlie gasped. “We don’t use that kind of language in the hotel!” She tsked, coming over to help her girlfriend and first patron. “Guess we’ll just have to tickle it out of you~!”
“Charlie, we swear all the fucking time.” Angel deadpanned.
“Well, not that word!”
“Now, Niffty.” Alastor asked as he held Sir Pentious. “Where haven’t you tried yet~?”
“M-Misssster Radio Demon, pleassssse reconssssid-”
“I haven’t touched his tail yet.” Niffty answered.
“Wonder if this would work.” Husk hummed, using the feathered end of his tail to stroke Sir Pentious’ own.
The results were much better than expected.
“WAHAHAHAIT NOHOHOHOHO!”
“Goodness me, quite a weakness!” Alastor teased. “Imagine your idols finding out about this~”
“Come on Boss, don’t be too much of an asshole.” Husk said jokingly.
“I wouldn’t dream of it, Husker!”
“Not going to call you a liar, only because I don’t even know if you sleep.”
“Your concern is duly noted.”
Charlie was happy everyone was having fun and getting along. She needed to remember to put ‘weekly bonding exercises’ on their hotel schedule. For now, however, she was enjoying herself as much as everyone else, laughing along and tickling people to her heart’s content. She was sure the residents of the Hazbin Hotel would be redeemed in no time.

I discovered your blog a little bit ago (back when your requests were off) and got super excited when I saw that you wanted a Sam Winchester request!
So I was wondering if you could write a fic where the reader is insecure about her stretch marks, but Sam reassures her and shows her that he has stretch marks too from growing so quickly and much when he was a kid going from tiny to giant in like a snap. Hunting was apparently not a great form of exercise, you thought as you stood in front of your full length mirror dressed in nothing besides a bra that should’ve been thrown out years ago and your laundry day underwear. With a critical eye, you glared at the overhang of your stomach, the seam between your thighs where there should have been a gap but especially the shimmery skin stretched too far along your body.
You tilted your head as you traced those lines with the tips of your fingers. How many things had you tried to get rid of them? How many years have you spent avoiding mirrors just because of this? You sighed dejectedly, your entire body sagging with the weight of your hate. You were exhausted with it, it ate away at you until there was only a speck of the love you once had for the body you inhabited.
“Princess, have you seen my- oh.” Light from the hallway streamed into your room, casting a new light upon yourself which you immediately turned away from, and instead met the deep hazel eyes of your barely official boyfriend. Sam filled the doorway, his presence overwhelming.
“Sam.” You could barely breathe out his name with the massive weight of shame sitting on your chest. You felt his gaze burning into your skin as he took in every inch of your mostly naked body. Your vision wavered as tears began to build.
Yet he said nothing. “I-“ But no more words would come. This was what you feared most, that he would finally realise that he could do so much better than you, that you could never compare to Jess or Eileen or even Ruby. As you braced yourself for heartbreak, Sam stepped closer, lost in a trance.
Your arms curled around your stomach and you looked away, squeezing your eyes shut. Your fingers brushed the tell-tale smoothness of some of your stretch marks and suddenly you wanted to scream. Why couldn’t you just be fucking normal, you wanted to shout at yourself, why couldn’t you just lose the weight before he saw you naked for the first time. You expected to hear him insult you or say that you had a pretty face for someone so big, but then, just like he always managed to, Sam surprised you.
Far softer than you could ever imagine a man like him to be capable of, Sam cupped your forearms, prying them away from your body and leaving you vulnerable to him. You whimpered under your breath. There was a moment of quiet where all you could hear was his heavy breathing and your own pounding heartbeat and then-
“Gorgeous.”
His large hands hovered over your hips like he was handling a piece of precious artwork. The calloused tips of his fingers grazed the fat along your pelvis in reverence. “I always thought you were beautiful, but now, I can’t believe that you’re real.”
“Sam-“ Part of you wanted to stop him, to push away his affections but the way he cradled you and looked at you with those big hazel puppy dog eyes, you didn’t think you had the strength to stop him. He gave you that stupid grin of his that showed off his dimples and made his entire body light up. “But my stretch marks.” You managed to stammer out as some sort of last ditch effort to get him to realise the truth.
Finally he laid his hands on your skin and your mouth snapped shut. His thumbs brushed against said stretch marks, leaving behind a warm, buzzing sensation that you could feel in your bones. “What about them?” He murmured but you could tell that he was already lost in the texture of your skin.
“They’re ugly.” You admitted like it was some shameful secret. Sam froze for a moment and gazed deeply into your eyes.
“You really think that?” You nodded. Your skin was cold where he let go of your hips, it made you wish that you had just kept your mouth shut and let him love those parts of you that you hated.
You jolted forward to try and grab at his hands but they were already pulling at the buttons of his flannel with a determined look on his face. You gave an embarrassed squeak as suddenly, Sam was topless in front of you, his perfectly sculpted torso so achingly close to your hands. “Then you must think mine are ugly too then.”
In the soft light of your bedside lamp, you could see the silvery lines that trailed up his slim hips, starkly contrasted against his tanned skin. They were almost identical to your own and they were beautiful, like silver threads that had been placed upon him like jewels. You couldn’t help but reach out to them, desperate to feel them beneath your hands.
Sam chuckled deeply in his chest but did not try to stop you as you laid your palms flat against his toned stomach. “How?” Was all you could manage to say besides something else incredibly impolite about your boyfriend’s body.
“I’m 6’4 princess, and Dean will absolutely attest to the fact that I grew over a foot in one summer. I was bound to get some stretch marks.” You hummed, now understanding why Sam had been so distracted by your own body moments before. “Still think stretch marks are ugly?”
You shook your head without hesitation and he beamed. “’S like we have matching tattoos.”
A soft kiss was pressed to your temple as he once more wrapped you in his arms to hold you close. “That’s my girl.” You sank into his embrace, content and warm. The weight of your insecurities was slightly lessened with someone you so dearly loved taking some of the burden and you couldn’t be happier about it. Well, there was one thing.
“Can I lick ‘em?” Sam’s laugh reverberated through the room.
“Only if I can lick yours.”

It’s so bitterly cold here in the Midwest USA, I wish I could be hanging with hunky guys in Dubai or something for Christmas. You think you could help me with that man?
You should have landed at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport by now. But because of a snowstorm, you were diverted to Chicago O'Hare International Airport. This cursed journey to the holidays is getting worse by the minute. And if you drink another beer to drown your frustration, you're going to puke. But right now you need to take a piss. You find it a little difficult to get up. Firstly, because of the alcohol in your blood. On the other hand, because you've become a real heavyweight since last Christmas. A bit more exercise and less eating and drinking would also do you a lot of good…
The toilet is empty. It's amazing that so many people are stranded here so close to the holidays… And there's a sports bag by the washbasin. And it's still there when you come back from the urinals. Not a soul in sight… Could there be a bomb in there? A normal and sober person would now inform the security service. But you are definitely not sober. So you grab the bag. And in a reasonably quiet corner, you check the contents. Jackpot! Not much special. Sportswear, a white nightgown… And a wallet with quite a lot of cash, a passport from the UAE and above all: a flight ticket to SHJ. No idea what and where that is. But you have to change planes at JFK and DOH. That sounds exotic. It certainly sounds better than Kansas. Boarding starts in 20 minutes. As best you can with your beer belly, you walk towards the gate.
When you arrive at the gate, boarding is almost complete. The ground crew member asks you for your boarding pass and passport. Shit, you didn't even think about the fact that you don't look like your passport photo. The guy looks at your passport, looks at you, grins and wishes you a good flight. As you pass him, you hear him say to his colleague that you've really become a fat pig since the photo was taken. Well, that's probably your luck in this case.
You have a layover of over five hours at JFK. You heard in the in-flight program that the TWA Hotel & Fitness Center at JFK is supposed to be the largest hotel gym in the world. You really need a gym. And you have time too. So you set off. Not much sporting activity is to be expected from you. But after an hour of power walking on the treadmill and half an hour on the cross trainer, your new sports clothes from the bag you found are soaked with sweat. But you feel fit. Really fit. As you stand in front of the mirror after your shower, you run your hands over your stomach. Flat and hard. When you tense your muscles. That's how it should be. And you get rid of the rest of the fat too. It sucks with the beard. You shaved your beard for Thanksgiving. Because you were invited to a friend's parents' house. You didn't want to scare them off with your beard. But now the beard hasn't grown back the way you'd hoped. Your mother will scold you terribly.
You grab a salad and a protein shake at the bar in the gym. You want to sleep on the plane. The food on board is delicious and plentiful, but not good for your body. To make sleeping on board quicker, you put on just a tank top and jogging suit for the flight. It takes you a good twelve hours to reach Doha. You want to use this time to arrive home well-rested.
At boarding, the ground staff greet you in Arabic. Of course. As usual. It's nice to study in the USA. But you don't have to stay with the infidels in winter. You're now looking forward to the warm sun in the Gulf. The person sitting next to you is a non-believer. And obviously not familiar with Qatar Airways' in-flight catering. She has brought a large portion of chicken wings with fries from KFC on board. You almost feel sick. She offers you something. You flex your biceps and say in English with a heavy Arabic accent that you can't get these babies at KFC.
The flight was quiet, apart from the brief interruption during which you fucked the infidel chick in the airplane toilet. You'll have to do without a wet pussy for the next few weeks. Hehehe, but your cousins and your bruhs have tight asses. That works at least as well. You only have just under two hours in Doha before the last flight segment. You quickly go to the airport mosque, do your ablutions and sunset prayers, change into your spotless white dishdasha and board the plane to Sharjah. Once again didn't really feel like colouring properly but tada anyways! Shadow, AKA Terios Acorn, the Ultimate Dad (bod) with his kids Sonya, Manik and baby Jasper (who finally has a name)! Estelle is not there mostly coz I haven't fully nailed her design yet...
After being forced into retirement from superhero work Shadow, Sonic and Sally had to make quite a lot of lifestyle changes. Shadow, and Sonic to a lesser extent, noticeably gained a bit of weight over the years as a result.
Has been mentioned before but Shadow doesn't actually need to eat as often, but nowadays he does so to appear more normal. He also tends to feel left out when the others are eating together and he's not. This has been the main reason for his weight gain. He would actually make himself sick a lot in the early years after retirement coz he was eating too much. These days Sonic serves him smaller portions or just gives him something to nibble on instead so he feels included.
Both Shadow and Sonic have high metabolisms due to the amounts of energy they burn off. Where Shadow could survive off of ambient Chaos Energy, Sonic had to eat a lot more just to keep up. Being unable to use his speed to burn off that excess energy has kinda thrown his whole diet out of whack.
Sally regularly goes to the gym, but mostly only as part of long term PT exercises she has to do coz of her cybernetics. At first the boys attempted to join her in a bid to get rid of some of that excess energy but they both had great difficulty holding back and trying to appear "normal". They also weren't really getting anything out of it because they were forced to hold back too.
Sonic is jealous of they way Sally bounced back after her pregnancies, while he's still got that soft pudginess in his chest, belly and hips. He's a little bit self-conscious of his weight since he used to be lithe and small, built for speed. And the fact that he was bullied a bit as a kid or being "fat" too. Shadow and Sally very much love how cute, pudgy and huggable their husband is. Tho where Sally tries to be supportive of Sonic's efforts to stay in shape, Shadow actively sabotages him by buying him treats all the time. Sonic also struggles a bit with self-control...

First of all BIG no on the "always at all times". But yes, a number of health conditions correlate with fatness or the so-called obesity category of the BMI (the same is true for the underweight category, but we never hear much about that for some mysterious reason). This does not mean that fatness is the root of all these conditions. In some cases, fatness is another symptom of a common root cause. In some cases, the condition causes the fatness, not the other way around. In some cases, health issues trace back to minority stress and discrimination. In some cases, people really just happen to also be fat. All the health conditions that correlate with fatness also occur in thin people. There's no health issue that's exclusive to fat people, just some that are more prevalent. To say that fatness must be causing the issues makes no sense when plenty of people who have them aren't fat.
Should these conditions be treated? Of course! But why would you "treat" a completely healthy fat person? If they aren't engaging in any behaviors that are unhealthy to them, there's literally nothing to treat but a slight, statistically increased risk of certain things. Normal checkups are all the treatment you need.
It's clear to me that a lot of thin people feel like their thinness is the ultimate protection from health problems, and I'm afraid that's just not true. We can do our best to stay healthy, we can absolutely have an impact, but the (understandably scary) truth is that ultimately we're not in control. Genetics, outside impact and sheer coincidence all go in the mix too.
As for the discouragement: fatness IS discouraged at every turn, friend..! Fat bodies are shamed, vilified and excluded in countless well-documented ways and there's a massive industry dedicated to the pursuit of weight loss! If "discouragement" actually prevented fatness, SWEET LORD would it have worked by now!
At the end of the day, you can't meaningfully "discourage" a way of being. Fatness is not a behavior. You can encourage healthy eating and exercise habits - behaviors - but fatness isn't something you do. You can't wake up one day and just stop fatting.
It should also be noted, while we're talking health risks, that 1)there are a whole lot of those associated with intentional weight loss, and 2) research consistently shows that the majority of people who lose substantial amounts of weight, gain it back. Getting thin and staying that way just isn't a viable option for everyone, and many are going to be less healthy if they try. The bottom line is: leave it up to the individual and the medical professionals they put their trust in, and get rid of any notion that you can prescribe the right life choices to people who aren't you.

Hi! I've been following your comics for a long time and just saw that you squatted over 200 lbs! Congratulations!!
I want to ask this with the best of intentions and good faith. Would you still consider yourself fat? I recently started weightlift training myself and there's this annoying fatphobic part of my brain that is always present whenever i start any type of exercise that says "oh, will this be the thing that makes me loss my belly?" And it usually gets drowned out by the learned body positivity telling me not to make that a goal and there's nothing wrong with my fat.

I would definitely still consider myself fat-- I work out 3-5 times a week and have for years, and my legs are pretty muscular, which is nice! But I am a chunky person, and it's pretty clear to me at this point that even if I drown in anxiety every time I eat a piece of bread, that's not going to change XD
That acceptance has definitely shifted the way I think about the gym/working out for the better. My goals are no longer focused on maximizing calorie output, setting the gym up as a punishment for having the body I have, which would always send me into anxiety spirals about going. Instead, I wanted to make the gym a regular (non-stressful) part of my life, because I realized maintaining a baseline of fitness-- at whatever size I am-- is important to helping me remain independent and able to do the work I'm passionate about as I age.
I feel like this change in my relationship with the gym has been one of the more important changes in my life-- treating working out as something more like doing the dishes than some kind of major shift into a new, thinner chapter of my life. I figure that I probably have many years ahead of me, and with how much I value my independence, I want to make sure I can stay mobile and pain-free for as long as I can (so I can keep making comics).
That of course doesn't mean I'll never get sick, or that ppl who do get sick just didn't do enough squats or deserve to be stigmatized for it! But osteoporosis has cropped up in my family before, and lifting helps increase bone density, as well as building a good foundation of stabilizing muscles if anything ever goes wrong. It's helped get rid of back pain and improve my posture, and while I'm sure there's a technique component at play, I feel like I have lifting to thank for my wrist strength-- drawing all those tiny lines somehow hasn't destroyed my wrist, and is always easier when I'm consistently deadlifting!
And, of course, there's the confidence that comes with picking up a big heavy thing and putting it back down. I feel proud that I have a body that can do that, which is something I have never felt before, even with everything I know about body positivity. When I first started lifting I also had those little thoughts about how it might impact my waistline-- I think it's something that's so deeply ingrained in fat people to prioritize that it's really hard to shut off. But it eventually did stop, replaced with an honest desire to explore my body's ability to pick up heavy thing off ground. An exploration of my body's strengths instead of a punishment for its perceived faults.

I follow you on twitter & all I gotta say is, I love the diversity in your drawings so much, I hate when people make girls all stereotypes & your art makes me feel so comfortable it’s like a warm feeling not to mention your nsfw art. thank you so much!! i totally get what you mean by a list, that really is what diversity can feel like sometimes. my weight and figure have fluctuated so much over the years and i've gotten enough shit from family about eating habits and how chubby i've gotten, to the point of dysmorphia, and turning to art (and not to mention seeing the vast majority of fat butch rep) to remedy it has done wonders for my body image, and i'm really glad people like how i do things.
in terms of tips, as someone who went to school for this sorta thing, i'm gonna try to make this as accessible as possible aka free resources.
timed figure drawing!
legit, you gotta draw naked people posed in intricate ways. there's literally no avoiding it, you have to draw from life and not from tutorials. obv, i'm not saying go out and attend a life drawing course -- that's expensive shit -- so here's a few options:
i use a site called quickposes, since most figure drawing galleries require subscriptions.
you can set a timer for how long you want on each pose/reference. i recommend challenging yourself with shorter times as it helps you to get rid of any hang-ups about getting the anatomy exactly right. the drawing's got to get done by the end of the timer, don't focus on the details. just draw, be done with it, move on to the next drawing.
there's also a youtube channel that we'd use in class when a model couldn't show called new masters academy and they have a bunch of timed daily drawing exercises.
as a general rule, don't lean on the amount of time you have. what you're wanting to do is get a FULL PICTURE on your paper as soon as possible, regardless of a long or short time. get the full figure onto the paper then use the rest of the time to fuss over details, shading, editing, etc.

kinda similar to the last one but in the more time-consuming sense.
use pinterest. it has a lot of uses for a lot of things but i use it quite a bit for both anatomy refs and costume design inspiration. this is legit what my home page looks like now because of it.
here's a board i made on anatomy, pulling from different body types; obviously i get a little gay wid it, but there's a verrrryyyy clear lack of certain body types in a lot of body refs like muscular women, fat women, just overall people who higher fat content than the lean, almost 0% fat of the figures seen in most tutorials and galleries:
this is where pinterest really shines because you can find literally everything on it.
in particular, there's an account called character design references, that is basically a stockpile of references for artists. i wouldn't normally recommend artist tutorials when it comes to wanting to learn anatomy because it can get a little echo-chambery (side-eyes the male vs. female tutorials that float around on twitter all the time) but there are actually some boards that have genuine studies on the human form, even from a medical point of view.
LITERALLY JUST DRAW A LOT.
I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH IT'S GONNA TAKE A LOT OF TIME AND PRACTICE TO GET TO A CERTAIN LEVEL OF SATISFACTION.
like that's it, full stop, draw often. if you're feeling rusty, go back to basics. if you're art blocked, go back to basics. if you're bored, go back to basics.
