and jegulily just feels like shoving in lily because people feel bad for ditching her, or shoving in regulus because some people like jily and jegulus and want them (for some reason) to coincide even though it makes zeroooo sense for it to. like, idk if i said this with jegulus before (i yap sm on this account i forget what i say), but like it, jegulily can be done well if a realistic dynamic is taken into account, but the marauders fandom is allergic to nuance and so just chalks up everything regulus does and believes to his neglectful homelife. hes not all-bad, sure, i do feel bad for him, but im nowhere close to shipping him with a woman whos part of the people hes trying to eradicate, or with her man who purposefully went against all pureblood tradition (which is such a large part of james’ character— he is a pureblood that chooses to be seperate from that culture hellooooo plz wake uppppp).

marauders fandom has a chronic “i can fix him” mentality when it comes to wizard neo nazis, i have never understood it. but thats a topic for another day.

jegulily should be filled with envy, toxicity and prejudice stop nerfing it to be some fluffy feel-good polyamorous stable marriage where they raise harry together. yall are looking over the potential. this ship has blood and guts in it plz act like it or else idk what to say 😭 if it doesnt end with at least one of them getting murdered i dont want it.

my fellow anxiety havers what is one of your mundane day-to-day tasks that should by no means be anything remarkable but feels like you are being hunted for sport. i’ll go first: putting all of your groceries on the conveyor belt during checkout is like a long series of quick time events to me

#marzi speaks #it’s bc like. you have a cart Full of groceries #there is a cashier looking to scan the groceries #there is (often) a bagger looking to bag the groceries and put them back in your cart #goal: get as many groceries onto that belt as fast as possible #REMEMBER: heaviest items go first so that nothing gets crushed when the bagger puts the groceries back in your cart #it is so stressful. move so fast ‘which of these items is gonna be heavier’ getting to the end and realizing you missed like 3 cans…#it’s even worse if there are ppl behind you. i live in texas so i can at least make socially acceptable conversation with the cashier #EXCEPT i’m already way overthinking the conveyor belt situation. i’m already frazzled #and now i gotta do small talk? oh god #on the bright side i am so fast at it it’s insane. i move faster than the cashier can keep up with #which is A Good Thing. bc that means i am at max efficiency #but like. Hi! I was wondering how did you learn how to draw? You’re so talented !

hii i just started when i was a kid & never stopped 🤔 everyone starts out drawing bad / wrong whatever but all it is is training ur eyes to see and ur hand to replicate what you see :3 like ur gonna make a drawing that doesnt look right, and you go hmm what about this is off, and compare it to reference photos / whatever it is you are trying to draw and try to figure out what is different between ur pic & the original thing / ur ref photos etc and thats the whole constant process of learning 😅 and u can also google tutorials like "how to draw hands / cats / cars / whatever." i also went to art college which was a ton of life drawing / model drawing / naked ppl drawing / skeleton & anatomy drawing etc.

to improve at drawing u gotta just keep doing it constantly long term, like get obsessed with something (anime characters, for me) & go to town. find art that looks good to u and try to figure out what specifically u like about it (line quality? color? shapes?) & u can practice emulating it, maybe it will show up in your own art style as you develop it.

im still learning obviously, and i feel like theres sm i dont know how to do yet, so using a boatload of reference pics is key, sometimes i take my own ref pics lolz good luck :') just keep drawing ah

also if you look thru my #art ref tag theres some helpful link stuff, i feel like 80-90% of the tag is me saving reference pics lol but every time i find resources or guides or a helpful site i also put it in that tag 😵‍💫
