A Linked Universe meets The Dark Crystal AU! I don't even remember what started it at this point. I remembered that the Dark Crystal and Age of Resistance are things I like, blinked, and woke up three days later with an AU and a bunch of art.

The designs and the story are a wip and for fun so expect a lot of variation! (I have a few different beginnings, ideas for different designs, etc)! :D

I love Faybelle’s relationship with her mother and her own destiny on its own but when you compare it to Raven it becomes so much more interesting.

The dark Fairy encourages Faybelle to follow her own ambitions and dreams, she allows her the freedom to develop her own talents and allows her so many liberties in her approach to darkness/evil.

It makes me wonder if Raven wouldn’t have felt the need to rebel had her mother’s approach been different.

Just think about how Faybelle’s mom has no issue at all with her daughter having a Pomeranian dog and acting sugary sweet with her. And then you have Raven’s mother making fun of Raven’s puppy and then transforming it into a rat (iirc)
