Two years after my Buck Begins fanart, I couldn't help but make a Buck Bothered and Bewildered version, now that our sweet boy knows what was missing from his life.

There are no words to express how much i love and appreciate this character, how much he helped me through very rough times, and how deeply touched I was by his first boy kiss.

God bless Buck and Oliver for portraying him so beautifully.

60-pages of Buddie comic?? Am I crazy?? Yeah, crazy about Buddie lol I wanted to upload everything in one post so I combined 2 pages in 1 photo since there’s a max of 30 photos in a post. I hope it’s still readable. Pls lemme know if it isn’t ^^

Storywise, I’ve always wanted to write a scene where Eddie is hit with all the things Buck had done for him in the show. I thought this was the perfect chance to do it and have Eddie realize how much he meant to Buck and how much Buck meant to him. And the separation just begs for the ‘what if Buck gets into an accident while Eddie isn’t there?’ hahaha and who isn’t a sucker for a happy head over feet (yes Alanis Morisette inspi— played it on repeat while making this) in love Eddie???!!?!?!

Although I wasn’t able to translate everything I had in mind into this comic, I’m still pretty proud that I was able to complete it. At least, the main story! So there will be some supplementary comics that will follow this storyline. I’ve written out most of them and drafted two so far. I hope I’ll be able to finish everything in time before 8B coz I’m suddenly moving this month and will be busy, as if the comics jinxed me haha

I know the world is a scary place, and there's so much bad, and I appreciate your willingness to continue to try. I hope your scrolling brings you comfort and peace, I hope you find a safe place to land for a little while.

I'll let you get back to your scrolling soon. What are you looking for today? Enemies to lovers? Found family? Accidental baby acquisitions? Will it be a reader insert or a completely new AU? I'm sure your comfort characters are waiting for you, for your next adventure, or to revisit an old one. Just a small reminder before you go, you are loved, you are wanted, and you matter. Your comfort character would love your every flaw and would love you in all stages of your life. From your best to your worst, they would love you and want you to stay. If you love them in every universe and stage of being, flaws and all, then you can believe they'd love you the same. If there's a million different universes, then there's at least one where you're their favorite comfort character, too, and I promise they're rooting for you every step along the way.

Your comfort character believes in you and so do I, the girl on the other side of the screen who will always be a safe place to land. You are loved, you matter, you are important.
