Thought of a few of Wapeach's misadventures in my Improper Disposal AU.
One is Wasteland having a tennis tournament Because Reasons, and of course Wapeach enters because surely she'll win, she was literally designed to play tennis! Twice! And she will absolutely not shut up about it, which gets on several people's nerves, especially Big Bad Pete's.
And then the tournament starts. She's put up against Pete.
And she abruptly realizes that she has absolutely no idea how to play.
Oh, she'd probably be really good at it if she actually learned, but she got scrapped before they actually programmed her in both times so she doesn't innately know the rules like she would have if she were ever actually in the game. Pete, being Pete, reacts about how you'd expect (very unsportsmanlike laughing and taunting) but Wapeach is a little too busy having a severe identity crisis to explode like usual, or even notice him. Once she's off the court and responsive she ends up being comforted by Ortensia.
Another is that Oswald, Donald and Goofy (the latter two are the Animatronic versions, obviously) are climbing the Splatterhorn (Wasteland's version of the Matterhorn) to prove the existence of the Abominable Snowman to the Misadventurer's Club, and they run into Wapeach and the Nontendroid versions of Wario and Waluigi (this is actually the first time they meet the Nontendroids, actually), who are there following a rumor of treasure hidden somewhere on the mountain. There's some conflict between the two groups, especially because Donald hears about the treasure and is understandably much more interested in finding that than a monster.
Unfortunately, soon enough the monster finds them. The abominable snowman manages to drag off Oswald and Wapeach after a scuffle, leaving the robots to dig themselves out of the snow and go after them. When the yeti gets home to its cave, it's revealed to actually be a Beetleworx. Apparently the Mad Doctor built it and spread rumors of both it and treasure on the Splatterhorn to lure the two of them to him so he could defeat Oswald once and for all and scope out the new villain on the block.
Eventually the Animatronics and Nontendroids find and storm the Mad Doctor's lair, along with their new friend; an actual Yeti that really does live on the Splatterhorn! The fake yeti gets smashed, the Mad Doctor manages to escape, everybody goes home.
The third (and last for now) idea is Wapeach and the Mad Doctor getting into an argument over who makes the better robots. This inevitably leads to them constructing their biggest, most dangerous robots to date and making them fight. And so we have Animatronic Julius (the giant Franken-Pete from Runaway Brain, not the Felix the Cat lookalike who's technically Oswald and Mickey's currently-unknown-to-them eldest brother) vs Nontendroid Ridley!
...Wapeach did not think this through carefully enough, methinks.

It's been a long time,, I've been reading Inky Mystery for a while, but lately I tend to read it all at once when I have a few stories piled up. But recently I saw 349 and 350 and thought I should draw Felix and Oswald, so I drew them right away.
It's so good... So much fun... I love it!
No seriously zany felix < this is so good the more I think about it. He's out of the zany, but he's still got it in him? Oh my God, it feels so good... Do you know what I mean? Felix admitting that to me is really... Actually, I'm not exactly sure about zany because I just understand the concept as a feeling... but it just feels so good. I wonder about Felix's zany days... Even more so because of the current situation where Felix denies those days.
I also loved the jump to Oswald's side in episode 350, and the scene where Felix came to visit him in a bad mood really made me smile. I feel sorry for Felix, but it was good.
I also loved that Oswald brought up the past, the kids and Ortensia... Oh God, I need to watch episode 350 again.
Ha... I love how Felix and Oswald come to an understanding about fatherhood... or should I say, I love how they talk about it...
But... I couldn't hold back a sigh at the mention of Mickey. Oh my God, I'm so dreading the day when the series will reveal the news about Mickey's ink illness, but I'm looking forward to it...
Of course, I also read episode 351 posted today. The plot is getting more and more interesting...
This has nothing to do with the novel: I recently went to Tokyo DisneySea and Disneyland! The parades were so fun, impressive, moving, and fantastic... I especially loved the DisneySea parade, and I'm so glad I bought official Oswald merchandise! I got a doll and a key ring! I also saw two Disneyland stage shows, both of which I loved, and I got to meet Pluto and Donald Duck and take pictures with them, which made me so happy... I want to go to Hong Kong Disneyland and meet Oswald, so my next goal will be Hong Kong Disneyland.
I'm still in love with Inky Mystery and the cartoon characters. Epic Mickey rebrushed is coming out soon, I'm definitely going to play it.

I was body-slammed by thoughts over Mickey and Minnie Mouse finally being in the public domain a couple days ago and the fact that I've heard peck all about projects with them since the initial news came out.
And I- I feel I need to share the two game genre ideas I've had just to get them out of my head.
The first one is a farming sim/casual adventure game about Mickey deciding to bail out of Hollywood now that his acting contract was finally up and doing something peaceful and quiet with himself.
The idea of him leaving and doing something calming/simple speaks to me, man.
Especially since it could carry an outstanding story about reconnecting (if you put Oswald in the game as a neighbor) or taking time to care for your own mental health over dealing with social media/high-stress businesses.
Because that mouse has been through some sh*t and as long as the writers kept it vague (to avoid the stuff still under copyright and trademark) they could have a damn good story about unpacking shelved mental and emotional issues, undoing unhealthy coping habits (like always having to be positive/a good role model. Mickey is, like, the poster boy for Golden Child issues), and stuff like that.
There is potential there and I have yet to see people use it.
The second one is giving Minnie the chance to star in an rpg where she gets to be one of the heroes instead of the Damsel in Distress.
Minnie could be an awesome player character and it could be fun to flip the script for once and have her go on the adventure and rescue Mickey. Maybe let her team up Sadie/Ortensia and play around with a potential besties/in-laws relationship between them.
(If you really wanna add some potential drama to the party, have both Sadie/Ortensia and Fanny Cottontail in the party with Minnie.)
Plus, it's always fun to try and expand on underutilized characters and throw them into situations they wouldn't normally deal with.
I am just- Rotating these mice now that it's fully sunk in for me that it's legal for people to make non-disney content with them

Let's talk minor/background characters
I am rewatching Winx (already watched the first three seasons but then I decided to rewatch them again)
Anyway: I remember how some fairies introduced in the earlier seasons stayed till the end. That's injustice. Let's fix it. Or well, these are my opinions about them.
Francis - Fairy of Laughter
potential bonded pixie: Jolly (mainly due to the design)
I say, she comes from a drama/threatre/show-inspired planet; maybe even a opera-inspired one
she is friends with Aisha/Layla and Musa
enjoys dancing and can sing
like Aisha/Layla, she had more classical training but on her planet, it means to entertain and amuse the people
she is that friend who thinks she had to be funny and quirky
maybe a bit insecure and has the need to fit in/be popular
she earned her Enchantix because she gave up her laugh
listen, she didn't use her full potential and she thought, laughters and by her own definition joy/amusement/performance was her power
giving it up, she earned her Enchantix but didn't get her laugh back and in her own eyes that made her powerless
however, it just got sadness centered after her Enchantix (then she sees that happiness has to co-exist with other feelings)
power growth towards emotion control: emotional manipulation by spreading joy and later “absorbing” sadness
can sense and manipulate the emotions (feelings, moods and their reactions)
manifest emotional energy to a physical level
of course, she takes up the challenge to get her laugh back
she has jester / clown-inspired look
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ahisa - Fairy of Love
comes from planet Eros (like Anne; potentially a planet full of passion, friendship, love and free expression)
everybody there has a soulmate, so Ahisa has one too
one of Amaryl's friends
self-confident and ambitious
the second, she gets really passionate about something, it becomes her new hyperfixation and might lose interest in anything else
she switches courses quite often and therefore had trouble keeping up with others (which doesn't pair well with her own ambitions)
earned her Enchatix by saving her soulmate (gives her life for theirs, woken up by a true love’s kiss)
love and friendship powers
she could even have sexual powers
healing powers
can sense soulmates of others, can help them fall in love
love arrows, love energy
seduction magic, sexual energy
maybe even fertility powers
she was warned that her powers might be less suitable for combat but she found a way to use it to her advantage even in fights
heart-themed clothes; everything pink and red
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Amaryl - Fairy of Starlight
she is one of the few people that actually have a personality? so, I will add just a bit
it says she could be from Cosmosia but I like it if she is from Solaria too
beef with Stella
she was really excited to start her education, especially with Stella expelled but then surprisngly, Stella was back and in the same classes as her
got bitter when Stella excelled at everything and got her Enchantix so early
overcame it and led her own friend group to defend Alfea (during season four, when the girls were in Gardenia)
mentor to Nova after Stella left
star powers
her power is more connected to the night and space
plasma generation, aura and manipulation
because Stella becomes the fairy of sun, moon and stars, I wanted Amaryl to either be the fairy of stars and night OR have more space powers, maybe even black holes (I went the black hole route, even if I am unsure about the starlight connection)
astronomy and astrology lover
earned her Enchantix by closing a black hole using her own control over it and being pulled into it - just to make it out with the help of her Enchantix wings
Stella and Amaryl mended their relationship, mainly because both are guardian fairies of Solaria
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ortensia - Fairy of Mind
so, in the russian version of a winx game, it says she is Codatorta’s daughter (she is a daughter of a teacher at Red Fountain, that's a fact)
hence she has amazing combat abilities
she and the Red Fountain dragons come from the same planet (they are controlled telepathically)
fashionista
unorganized, messy and never punctual
incredibly creative
she changes the interior design of her room almost every week
mind based powers
read and control minds
connect with others and “talk” in their heads
mental defenses (both physical shields and immunity to mind control)
psychic blasts
earned her Enchantix by breaking the mind control of numerous students
it was so intense, she lost her life but then came back to life because Enchantix
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Priscilla - Fairy of Trees
from a planet with lots of trees and with a world tree like Yggdrasil
nature fairy
speaks with trees reguarly
earned Enchantix by saving said world tree
she became one with it and with her Enchantix could seperate herself from it again
extremely patient
sneaks out often
never says no to a dare and got detention because of that quite often
loves challenges and going on adventure to meet new people
precognition through trees
sees past lives
past, present and future
prescient Reflexes, stronger senses
danger intuition
death and life sense
leaf and tree manipulation, nature energy blasts

Especially the most important characters like Donald, Oswald, Mickey, Goofy, Pete, Horace, Clarabelle, Minnie, Ortensia, Daisy, Pluto, Huey, Dewey and Louie, Jose and Panchito, Chip and Dale, Scrooge, Ludwig and others. As well as great movies like Snowhite, Pinocchio, Dumbo, Bambi, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, 101 Dalmatians, The Jungle Book, Winnie the Pooh, Robin Hood, Black Cauldron, Oliver and Company, Rescuers, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and The Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Mulan, Tarzan, The Lost City of Atlantis, The Emperor's New Suit, Treasure Planet, Lilo and Stitch and many more. wow you really love disney metafiction
Well yes Who Framed Roger Rabbit always fascinated me as a kid, what adaptions would our world have what would change if our characters really existed and lived beside us would Disney be as greedy as it is if Mickey Mouse was actually owner over it it instead of Bob Iger being CEO nd Investors having their claws in it? Would Bugs be the owner of Warner or would he be chilling as an A-list celebrity who is a known as a beloved LGBTQA Drag Queen and Genderfluid Veteran?
Mickey and Minnie married off screen and dating on screen?
Looney Tunes known as chaos incarnate but they're a giant family
Bugs and Daffy adopted the Animaniacs because they had no home
Are Bugs and Daffy together off screen?
What would shape each toon into their On Screen and off-screen selves creating that divide?
What would the huge differences be? Maybe some have kids others are married and some have entire seperate family?
How would humans react to these guys as a species that has a bad record of looking down upon people?
Mickey and Bob Iger having a I absolutely despise you but I have to tolerate you relationship
Off screen the Warner siblings are actually related to Oswald and Ortensia explaining the Animaniacs' strange unidentifiable appearances,
Like the possibilities are endless and vast, there's just so much unexplored due to the fact companies can't share at all anymore and they don't think live action hybrids are useful
Chip and Dale 2022 resparked it for me, a lot of ideas going a million miles, like if I had finances I'd be getting reference shots to use for test fan animation just for the fun of it, cause it fascinates me that much,
And while you call it metafiction it's actually just cartoons meeting our reality seriously go check out the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit that movie right there shows what exactly I'm talking about and here I'll even include some screenshots of a couple films that do this
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bugs Bunny Focus for Back in Action cuz honestly I think this is his most iconic look besides the Viking look when it comes to his drag and honestly the line normally I play the love interest is just amazing
Roger and Eddie(played by Bob Hoskins) in Who Framed Roger Rabbit
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers 2022
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is the adaption I was talking about earlier look at Ellie next to the apartment building for small toons. She's as tall as it, while Chip and Dale are the perfect size for it, unlike Who Framed Roger rabbit Chip and Dale takes place in the modern day that's what hooked me to create a modern AU it's all so fascinating,
Tumblr media
You can't see it in that shot but Dale is driving a full-blown human sized car that has been adapted for Chipmunks I'm not joking, however their movie shows how wildly different everybody can look from each other especially in the modern day when CG is a thing. Chip is still clearly 1990s 2D animated while Dale decided to get a CGI redesign
Like if Mickey and Minnie are only two feet tall and if he's the big boss on set yeah it's really funny to me to imagine him running around Disney and trying to picture every single Studio adapting to these Toons and their various size differences
Again there is just so so much that has been untapped with this genre, because Studios cannot get along long enough to tap into it

Public Domain cartoon characters from the Golden Age of Animation (and beyond)
Revised and expanded version of this post: https://tymime.tumblr.com/post/648495121557585920/instead-of-whining-about-mickey-mouse-not-falling
While Mickey entering the public domain is exciting and all, I do think a lot of people are overlooking the many other animated characters that are available to use in their creative works. This list isn't entirely exhaustive, but it does highlight some of the most interesting and/or appealing characters, as well as ones that have the potential to be so.
Koko the Clown
Tumblr media
One of the oldest cartoon stars from the Fleischer studio, almost all of Koko's silent-era cartoons are PD, and have been for quite some time. A handful of his appearances alongside Betty Boop are also PD.
Oswald the Lucky Rabbit
Tumblr media
Oswald's PD status has been greatly overshadowed by his fellow Disney star Mickey, but I believe that he deserves more recognition. All of the shorts produced by the Disney studio are PD as of this year, and let's face it, those are the only ones most people care about. Pegleg Pete's bear design is also PD.
Keep in mind that the blue shorts that Oswald wears in Epic Mickey and elsewhere are likely copyrighted, so I recommend steering clear of that.
I'm also not entirely sure you can use the name "Ortensia" for his cat girlfriend, since that name first appeared in Epic Mickey also. She was called "Kitty" back in the day, among other things.
All of Van Beuren Studio's cartoons
Tumblr media
The Van Beuren Studio was active during the rubberhose era, and their cartoons, especially the earlier ones, are like a cruder, possibly even more bizarre cousin to Fleischer and Disney. They went bust in the late 1930s, and no one renewed the copyright later on, so the entirety of their output is PD.
Tumblr media
Their most notable characters include Tom and Jerry, a pair of average Joes who always get into strange adventures. They shouldn't be confused with MGM's Tom and Jerry, and in fact they were called Dick and Larry when their shorts were rereleased for the home-movie market in the 1940s.
Tumblr media
Also notable is Waffles and Don, who are basically just animal versions of Tom and Jerry. You might consider these two as a better alternative, just to avoid confusion.
Tumblr media
There's also Cubby Bear, a pretty blatant Mickey Mouse clone, but unique enough that I don't think anybody’s going to confuse the two nowadays.
In the previous post, I mentioned a rumor that Disney threatened legal action over the character, but I can't find the source for that now. I may have been thinking of Milton Mouse, who was so extremely similar to Mickey that they actually did sue the studio for copyright infringement. So maybe don't try selling any Milton merchandise...
Tumblr media
Finally, there's Molly Moo-Cow, who appeared in several Rainbow Parade cartoons in the mid-to-late 1930s. Molly is arguably not the most interesting character, but I have a fondness for her since we grew up with one of her shorts on a VHS tape.
Toby the Pup
Tumblr media
Another very obscure character, about half of his cartoons are lost media. The little that does survive is hard to find online, but I think his design has appeal.
Dr. XXX
Tumblr media
Disney's The Mad Doctor was never renewed for reasons unknown, though some speculate that the studio thought that the cartoon was too scary and decided to let it go. Fortunately for us, that means that this iconic character is now in the people's hands.
Goopy Geer
Tumblr media
Goopy appeared in the three Merrie Melodies cartoons alongside his unnamed girlfriend. Despite his name and appearance being similar to Disney's Goofy, he actually made his debut about a month before (Goofy was named Dippy Dawg at the time anyway, so it was undoubtedly a coincidence).
Claude Hopper
Tumblr media
Claude appeared in a single Looney Tunes cartoon in 1943 called Hop and Go, alongside a pair of Scottish rabbits who antagonize him. The cartoon ends with a very unfortunate depiction of Tokyo being blown up (World War II was still going on at the time), so it's no surprise that Warner Bros. decided not to renew this one. Despite that, he has a very appealing design (imo), so I think he has potential. (Also, he's voiced by Pinto Colvig, the original voice of Goofy!)
Private Snafu and Mr. Hook
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Snafu and Hook were created for the US government, so according to the law are automatically public domain. The shorts were made to be shown to members of the US army and navy respectively, in order to teach them valuable lessons for fighting in WWII, but are nevertheless hilarious cartoons- animated by the Looney Tunes team with scripts by Ted Geisel- aka Dr. Seuss!
The Dover Boys
Tumblr media
Yes, Tom, Dick and Larry, Dora Standpipe and the villainous Dan Backslide are all public domain. A bunch of YouTube Poops were created after this fact was discovered by the internet a few years ago.
How Warner Bros. could ever let this one get away I'll never know. Their loss is our gain, I suppose.
Also of note are the ComiColor cartoons from the Iwerks studio, Rainbow Parade from Van Beuren, and most of the Color Classics by Fleischer. These don't have any especially memorable characters in them, but I thought I ought to mention them.
Caveats and other concerns
Krazy Kat
Tumblr media
All of the strips up to 1928 are definitely fair game. According to the Public Domain Superheroes wiki however, the entirety of the strip's run is PD. I'm not sure if it that's true, but the Fantagraphics collections don't credit any newspaper syndicate, so it seems likely. (Apparently the copyright status of newspaper comics are a whole can of worms on its own...)
At any rate, the strip's cast was pretty well set in stone by 1928, so it shouldn't be much of a problem. A large number of animated shorts starring Krazy are also PD, but those were pretty much in name only.
Felix the Cat
Tumblr media
Felix was pretty much the first cartoon superstar, and almost all of his Golden Age appearances are PD now. Keep in mind that this does not include elements from the 1950s cartoon like his magic bag, or from The Twisted Tales of Felix, as amazing as that series is.
The character's name and appeance are still trademarked by NBC Universal however, so you might be able to use him in a minor role, but not much else.
Flip the Frog
Tumblr media
I'm uncertain about this one. According to most sources Flip is PD, but according to the Thunderbean Blu-ray collection he's copyrighted by the Film Preservation Archives, whatever that means. Additionally, Flip himself is supposedly trademarked by Leslie Iwerks, Ub Iwerks’ granddaughter, though no one seems to be able to confirm that. I don't know how the trademark hasn't lapsed yet, considering that Flip hasn't appeared on any official merchandise or anything in decades.
Bosko and Honey
Tumblr media
I believe there's nothing stopping anyone from using Bosko's classic design (later appearances at MGM and in Tiny Toons are still copyrighted), but the character himself is a bit problematic, considering that it's all but stated outright that he's a blackface caricature. Use with caution.
Foxy and Roxy
Tumblr media
Like Goopy Geer, Foxy appeared in three Merrie Melodies cartoons. Roxy's name originates from an episode of Tiny Toon Adventures however, so keep that in mind. Though I'm not sure what else you would call her (or if Warner Bros. would even care). Supposedly her original name was "Fluffy", but I can't find a source for this.
Like Bosko and Honey, later appearances in Tiny Toons are still copyrighted.
Noveltoons
Tumblr media
Ginger Nutt (and rest of the Animaland cast)
Noveltoons was a series produced by Famous Studios, the successor to the Fleischer studio. The characters include Baby Huey, Herman the mouse, Blackie the sheep, Little Audrey, and of course, Casper the Friendly Ghost. Only a small handful of the shorts are PD though, and Casper is trademarked, so one's options are limited.
Baby Huey's first cartoon, in particular, was not renewed, so his original design, his mother, and the fox who tries to eat him are probably free to use.
Tumblr media
This one I'm not entirely sure about either, but Ginger Nutt's Christmas Circus has long been a staple of grey-market tapes and DVDs, so I'm just going to assume all of the Animaland cartoons are also PD. Considering that the series wasn't very sucessful, and is very obscure nowadays, it seems pretty likely.
If anyone has any insight on this, let me know.
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1964)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now here's an interesting case. An all-time classic Christmas special, and yet large parts of it are PD because they accidentally put the wrong date on the copyright notice. Instead of the Roman numerals MCMLXIV (1964), it reads MCLXIV (1164), and according to the law at the time, that meant that the film immediately went into public domain.
Of course, Rudolph himself is still copyrighted, and will be until 2035 when the original book falls into the public domain. Even then he's likely to still be trademarked. Not to mention the songs featured in the '64 film will be copyrighted for a long time afterward.
Still, this means that anyone is free to use all the other characters, including Hermey, Yukon Cornelius, King Moonracer, Clarice, and all the Misfit Toys. It's a wonder no one seems to have taken advantage of this. And of course Santa and his reindeer have been PD for ages, especially Santa since he comes from folklore- and you can't copyright folklore.
Calvin and the Colonel
Tumblr media
This cartoon is based on and stars a lot of the same voice cast as the old-time radio show Amos and Andy, which, while not overtly racist, featured white actors pretending to be black. The cartoon obviously has animals instead, but still, tread carefully. Someone is bound to point out the characters' history.
Hoppity Hooper
Tumblr media
Another one I'm not sure about. The Public Domain Superheroes wiki has characters from this show among its articles, but I wasn't able to confirm if it really was PD. It was created by Jay Ward, the same studio who made Rocky & Bullwinkle and George of the Jungle, but was also a huge flop for some reason, so that may be the reason why they let the copyright expire. Again, I'm not sure, but no one seems to care that the entire series is on YouTube, so who knows?
...Well, there you have it. Lots of obscure and forgotten toons waiting to be rediscovered and reused! If anyone has any more info or corrections, leave me a comment. I'd love some clarification on some of these.

I have a thought l, which is dangerous in itself, but I believe Epic Mickey could be seen as a prequel to the Mickey we see in the series Kingdom Hearts.
If you think about it, the story could happen while Mickey is in training, and the world we see Oswald and the others in is one that Mickey happens to wander into, even if it is by accident. The opening and closing of the game also make plenty of sense, especially when Yensid calls Mickey his apprentice and states how the two could even be brothers.
Which then could lead to Oswald being part of the KHverse with Ortensia. I mean, I know this is nothing new. There have been a lot of people in the fandom who write fics with Oswald in the KHverse, but I think the Epic Mickey game adds more to that idea.

03/05/88: Lcheu's Genesis no.3
The curse has gone on for far too long now, bringing upon us much suffering and pain. For months, we have sent two individuals by our order, either to understand the severity of this curse or to try and break it, but so far we have yet to receive any feedback from them. I had to try hard not to fall victim to such a grotesque illness that seemed to be growing harsher with each passing day. I responded immediately, taking medications as prescribed and resting for many days, calming the monster inside me. After much research and hard work, I found out about this dark secret - the curse was created by the devil himself. But it can still break all of us if we don't take care of each other in these times, I think I am able to contain it within me for a while so that it does not affect others, but I know that I may not last forever and eventually, this dark ink will end up spilling on us all.
It's been almost a week now since the two partners went off for their investigation, and I can feel something generally unpleasant hovering in the air, like a lurking virus. The symptoms of this mysterious illness have been getting more and more dangerous - starting off from severe headaches and nausea, to worse things such as dizziness, vomiting, and even inability to breathe. Worse yet, an infected person may even become paralyzed as a result of this illness. It's a worrying situation, but I can't help that feel that this curse is somewhat related to the two partners, especially the demon. But of course, I'm not getting ahead of myself - he's also fallen ill and suffering from this condition, so I'm not going to make any premature judgment whatsoever.
I have seen firsthand the effects of the terrible illness that has been ravaging our community. The illness has 3 stages, the first being severe headaches, nausea and dizziness which can last anywhere from an hour to a whole day. I only experienced the first stage myself, but I have seen at least one person suffer through the second stage which includes vomiting blood, violent breathing, and partial paralysis. The last stage is a death sentence, and there are more and more cases of this illness appearing with no end in sight.
The only available feedback we have on the illness comes from the brave few individuals who have witnessed the second and third stages. Without such individuals providing insight into their experiences, we are left to assume the worst about what the future holds. I am sending out a plea to anyone out there who may be able to help us by providing information and advice on this horrible illness.
Our lives depend on it.

THE PROGRESSION OF OSWALD’S FEELINGS TOWARDS FELIX
So during my first reading of The Inky Mystery, I found it a little rushed for Oswald to have agreed to something romantic with Felix in the far future, especially since I felt at the time that there weren’t many indicators of Oswald potentially having romantic feelings.
OH BUT DURING MY RE-READ….
It’s hard to tell AT FIRST if you aren’t paying attention especially with EVERYTHING ELSE going on in the story.
Here is how Oswald’s feelings toward Felix changes overtime before the confession, along with most of their interactions(warning-I am not counting the times where Felix is genuinely compared to Ortensia cause that isn’t fair)(please let me know if I miss anything)
Was the cat trying to watch out for Oswald’s son? How kind of him. “Hello.” Oswald greeted the cat with a smile. Felix blushed from the tip of his pointed ears to the end of his tail.(69)
Thank you so much. It means a lot to me that you treat my children so kindly.” His smile grew, and Felix felt himself heat up. “I really do hope we meet again very soon.”(69)
Ozzy, this is Boris, Cuphead, and Mugman.” Mickey indicated the three behind him. “And that over there is Alice and Holly, and you remember--”
“Felix! Nice to see you again!” Ozzy walked over to the cat with a bright smile. Felix ducked and flushed.
“Hello, Oswald,” Felix murmured. “Glad to see you’re doing well.”(85)
The rabbit sighed and scratched his ear. “I want to believe you, Felix. Sorry, I’m worried, and I can get hot headed,” he apologized, his sharp eyes turning gentle again.(88)
He had to admit after reading one of Felix' books as a bedtime story, he was colored impressed. He wondered how much was true and how much was embellished. It was hard to imagine the soft spoken man as this grand adventurer.(101)
“Mr. Oswald, hi.” The wolf kid waved with an uncertain smile. Oswald crossed his arms.
He was still getting used to talking again and didn’t really enjoy it, but he couldn’t stay quiet anymore either. It would devastate Mick and the kids if he went silent again.
That didn’t mean he had to be courteous to these people, though.
“We came by to look at the hole and see if we could do anything to help.” Felix stepped up. “We may have an idea of where Mickey’s at too.” Oswald raised a brow but pushed the door open.(101)
“Mr. Oswald,” Felix called from outside his door. “W-we aren’t leaving immediately. If you want to come, we can discuss it. But there are somethings that have be taken care of in town first.”
He threw the door open to see the cat author jump in surprise.
“What’s so important that my brother has to wait!”
“We-well, you see, one of the hostage requests is a girl. We still haven’t talked to her yet, and she isn’t in the best health to travel either.” Felix shrugged helplessly. “We have to plan carefully if we want to save Mickey.” That...was true. He had a bad habit of jumping in without a plan.(101)
Oswald swallowed and nodded. “Fine. But I am coming. You leave me behind, and I will call the police and report all of you.”
Felix’ ears dropped and a strange sorrow entered his eyes. “Of course.” Oswald ignored the pang of guilt he felt for threatening the cat. They had all lied to him. He had nothing to feel bad about, but Felix had been a wonderful visitor and a friend. The kids adored him.
“I’m trusting you Felix,” Oswald found himself saying. He watched the cat’s ears perk and eyes light up.(101)
He felt a bit guilty since he had to admit he didn’t completely trust Felix, and the cat had been nothing but kind and understanding. (103)
Boris is right.” Felix smiled at Oswald gently. “Mickey is a very capable person. I’m sure we will be able to get him back right as rain.”
Oswald tried his best to smile for the kind cat. “Thanks.” (103)
Oswald raised a brow. “Oh really?” He glanced at Felix. “Then hopefully Felix will get me chance to prove myself soon.” Felix looked up from his paper, eyes wide.
“Uh? M-me?” He blinked.
“You’re the most famous adventurer here, after all.” Oswald pointed to the book Holly had. “So, you’re the one that hands out the adventure cards.” He shrugged. “Makes sense to me.”( 104)
Oswald shrugged Felix off and walked away without a word. He looked at Felix and turned. “Mr. Oswald!” Felix called after him. “Mr. Oswald!” The cat went to follow.(105) (it’s unclear what happened between them after this but Oswald is less antagonistic toward cup for the rest of the trip and Felix ended up going to save Mickey instead of the brush despite it being at first a desperate attempt to get ozzy to calm down so in my eyes it counts)
Okay! Let’s go!” Felix said as he pulled Mugs and Boris away by their neck-wear. Oswald watched in entertained and perplexed amazement. Bendy felt like he missed something(106)
Oswald!” Felix stood too. “Wait, there has to be a mistake! We--”
“It’s okay Felix. I can handle this. You fellas just rest and relax,” Oswald said(106)
We’re all in danger as long as this thing is ticking,” Felix said pityingly. Oswald grimaced and looked from the door to Felix and back again. He clenched a fist and banged it against the car wall.
“Fine!” he growled and turned on Bendy and Boris. “But you make sure you get him out safe!”(109)
Holy stars. We’re alive.” Oswald slumped against the wall. Felix stepped up and patted him on the shoulder.
“Nice job Oswald.” Felix smiled.
The rabbit snorted. “You can call me Ozzy after this. Hell, call me anything you want. That was absolutely insane.”( 110)
Felix. He had a new respect for the cat. Soft spoken and kind. He had a tough side too. The toon had been steely yesterday. He was definitely the adventurer from his books. Oswald could see it now.(112)
“If he’s a demon, what is stopping him from going on a rampage with them? Maybe attack the angel’s city or something. I mean, that would make a lot of sense.”
“And you think Felix would actually help with that?” Mickey raised his brows.
“Maybe he’s lying to all of them,” Oswald suggested.(112)
Oswald stayed still, eyes wide as he absorbed what had just happened. How Felix had reacted. Until he felt heat in his ears and face. No way.(112)
“Ozzy?” Felix asked and followed his glance to the other side of the long table. “Is everything okay?”
The rabbit sighed. It wasn’t his business. It really wasn’t. He was having a good night with his friends and brother.(125)
The inky crew seemed curious, especially cupface, but Oswald could ignore them. Almost. All but Felix.(125)
Oswald sighed. “Let me guess. You said or did something and you’re wondering if this is all your fault.”
Felix’ eyes widened. “How do you know?”
Oswald laughed. “Because that’s how a parent thinks.” He grinned. “And I knew you were close to them, Felix.” (149)
Felix scowled. “It’s nothing,” he grumbled and stomped to the sidewalk, the others on his tail.
“Don’t give me that!” Oswald said. “Now show me.”
Felix rolled his eyes and lifted his shirt. A couple pieces of glass and a long shallow cut above his scars. Oswald paled. “I’m fine,” Felix said again and sat on the sidewalk(150)
Hey Felix, seems like we’re in the same boat.” Oswald smiled. (156)
You just be the nice fella you’ve been and listen when someone wants to finally talk about it,” Oswald said and shut his eyes.
“You sound so wise,” Felix said and smiled(156)
Oswald shrugged.  “I’ll be fine. Worry about the others.”
Felix nodded. “Thanks Ozzy. You’re a great help.”
The bunny blushed and lowered his chin. “It’s nothing.” (156)
“Don’t worry Felix. I’ll save anything good for you.” Oswald winked. The cat ducked and pulled his hat down.(162)
Oswald blinked. “Okay. Weird. Felix? What’s going o- Why do you have antlers ?” The adventurer had two perfectly mirrored deer antlers right between his ears.(248)
Just the entirety of them in 251 but here are some personal favorites:
“Doubts? You?” Oswald tilted his head, looking surprised.(251)
Oswald flushed and scratched the back of his head embarrassed. “It makes sense that I instantly felt a connection with you. I mean, I understand not getting along with your family and being burned in the past too.”(251)
Oswald winked. “After all, you’re a cussing charming fella. How could they not love that smile!”
Felix flushed. Oswald blinked and blushed himself. Felix coughed. “Thanks!” the cat said quickly to save both of them from an awkward silence. “I appreciate that. More than you know.”
Oswald’s face got even darker, his ears fell. “Don’t mention it.”(251)
Oswald’s cheeks flushed before he raised his nose. “Brillant, huh?”
“You’re everything you listed and then some. I hope I can shape up to be half the father you are,” Felix said.
Oswald grinned. “Go on.”
Felix paused a raised a critical brow.
Oswald smirked teasingly. “I never said anything about being humble.”
The two burst with laughter. (251)
Okay, okay,” Oswald wheezed. “We better go before anyone bangs the door down.”
“Well, you’d have to get off me first,” Felix pointed out. Oswald looked down and seemed to realize that he was straddling Felix.
“Ah! S-sorry! Oops, sorry! Haha!” The rabbit's face darkened (251)
Oswald's eyes widened. Felix attempted to escape to the door, but a hand closed around his wrist. “Hey,” Oswald said, his tone had dropped. Felix glanced back to see the handsome bunny watching him intensely. “H-how about lunch tomorrow? I’ll buy.”
What was with that look? “Okay,” Felix agreed, feeling both excited and a little nervous. “What’s the occasion?”
Oswald smiled, but his eyes didn’t soften. “Does there need to be one?”(251)
The hand on his shoulder squeezed before pulling back. “Bendy and Boris need me. In a lot of ways, now more than ever.” He looked up to see Oswald's smile soften into something warmer(256)
Felix raised a brow. “You’d go into Hell for me?”
Oswald folded his arms behind his head. “Well yeah, Feels. You’d do that for me. I know you would. You’re amazing so I’m just trying to keep up.”
Felix felt his face heat up, and he laughed. “You keep up with me? Hahaha! Ozzy, I thought I needed to try to keep up with you!”
“M-me!” Oswald chuckled. “Well, I’ll be.” (262)
“He’s actually quite the fella. Super smart, fast, funny, bashful, and you’d think he’s all quiet but no. He is full of surprises! Right when I think I have him figured out, there’s a new twist. He can really keep me on my toes. But he’s a good fella. No, a great one. He’s trying to adopt those boys and it’s not easy. I’ve been trying to help and I swear they make those documents as dry as possible in hopes you’d give up! But Felix is smart. Smarter than me. And you should see the look in his eyes when he gets mischievous. You aren’t ready for it since he seems like such a nice strait-laced fella but he can be a real schmuck if he wants to!”(268).

How they meets: Eil learns J.P Whiskers wealthand decided to start talking to him, hoping to get some of that bag. But turns out they alot in common and they start to bound which kinda put Eil in a bit of crisis, especially when he start catching feelings, he doesn't want another Sierra Motty situation where he actually likes the person he's planning to swindle. So he decides to swindle some else while actually doing proper business stuff with jp. (Omg they are business partners )

I just have this thought if Donald Goofy Minnie and Daisy went into the wasteland to find Mickey, what are the chances of them finding other lost characters, especially characters that they knew once upon a time And how would they react to find out about Oswald's being Mickey's older brother?
Broooooo everything about Mickey’s friends finding out about Wasteland is just so fucked up. I’m still hung up on Goofy’s first kid Junior being in Wasteland. Can you imagine? Goofy finding out that he had a son BEFORE Max that never made it to his teenage years before being forgotten? That it means HE forgot about him too???? I think that would kill him
And of course, Minnie would be just as upset upon finding out she was made to be Ortensia’s replacement, same way Mickey was upset about finding out he was Oswald’s.
Donald and Daisy….might actually have it the best out of the gang. I’m no Duck lore expert, but most of Donald’s relationships have been consistent while Daisy barely has any lore, so they’re the ones who stand to lose the least since I don’t think there are that many significant characters related to them that would end up in Wasteland. I could be wrong though
As for Oswald being Mickey’s brother……they would be shocked! And then happy! Up until they realize Oswald can’t stand Mickey and is mean to him, that’s when things take a nose dive. Oopsie!
