One thing I’ve noticed about people in or entering their 30s is they don’t make as many compromises anymore. If someone doesn’t meet them halfway, is not up to standard, is just not where they’re needed to be, they’re just like “ok cool” and they move on from the person. Which is not to say they’re less empathetic or understanding, but more that they have learned that time is their most prized possession and they’re not willing to make massive compromises on it. They are not obsessed w the idea of fixing someone (bc the concept of fixing a person doesn’t really exist). They simply move on to someone who is up to par. I want that. I want to always move w the awareness that time is my most priceless belonging and I can never buy it back. Ever. So I have to use it wisely
In this video we’re going to explore the idea of energy and how it shapes our everyday lives. Science tells us that energy is all around us, but it can be very difficult to understand. We’ll talk about what energy is and how it moves through the world. We’ll also look at some examples of energy in everyday life.

“You are a battery composed of ELECTRONS. Just as a battery needs to be RE-CHARGED, so do YOU. Hence = the lack of CONNECTION with MOTHER EARTH has in reality decreased you of electrons. This is not fake science, but real science.” 🤔
I feel like sparring with Suguru (especially with cult leader! suguru) he would be sooo intimate and mischievously coy with you. Like, it'll be the little fragile finger grazes slipping across your hips, agonizingly slowly. The hot, prodding whispers of encouragement and slight taunt bellowing directly into the depths of your ringing ears. And god, don't even get me started on the way this man swiftly and easily maneuvers manhandles your every abrasive attack, how easily he pins you to the nearest solid object. Hips solidly connected with yours, eyes leering ever so intently and strictly into your own — creates a massive swarm of unwarranted butterflies deep within your fluttering tummy.
!!! FLASHING LIGHTS WARNING!!! [IM NOT FUCKIN AROUND!!]
REACHED THE CUSP OF 'THIS MAY NEVER BE ABSOLUTELY FINISHED N IF I DONT SHOW IT NOW, IT WILL NEVER SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY.' SO HERE, A PROJECT IVE BEEN ORBITING AROUND UHH SINCE 2021 OR SO.
In reference to a specific scene in chapter 19 (click for better quality)
“I come undone as I am properly cycled for the very first time.
It's like priming only it lasts, it's like the vanilla extract but softer, sustained. and it starts as an unfurling between my legs and hitches up my center through my guts into my chest. Like a can opener. Molten. Like microwaved butter poured into my abdominal cavity as my insides fall out my body, all the way out, wide wide wide an unwinding three fold, outward, down, an unnatural drawing out sensation.”
I took some artistic liberties with the whole scene - I got brain blasted by this image while reading and had to put it to screen
More close ups since idk how to export the image in high quality
I dont know who needs to hear this- but self-care doesn't have to begin, or be,- skin care, nails, lashes/brows, workouts, hair care, etc, or any other "aesthetically pleasing" "glowup"- and I'm just gonna say it- other buzz words that usually rely on societal beauty standards and buying products to fix your life.
what self-care starts with is you, what actually brings you happiness. self-care starts with finding your happiness.- because happiness leads to contentment, which leads to joy.- and once you find that, so much more can fall into place for you, and you won't feel like you have to "fix" your life as much as you'll want to improve and grow in your life- for you.
-taking care of your body is so important. but I fucking hate as someone who struggles with self-worth and productivity limiting mental health issues and going on to what should be open-minded and diverse tags and being flooded with male gaze-i-fied gatekeeping ideas on what makes someone an "it girl".
