A not so friendly reminder. Rafah is under is under attack and has been since Sunday. Tell again how this isn’t a genocide? They were forced into this “safe zone”, but it’s no longer a safe zone. The Zionist have taken a page out of history’s worst playbook. Enough quit saying it’s about the hostages, it never was, because if it was they won’t be targeting and terrorizing “safe zones”.

Child of War
"take your war away from me" I said, and then I clung to it with my hands and my feet, still begging for it to let go. This war lives inside me; to separate myself from it is to deny my own existence. I am a child of war. I was born under skies lit up with missiles, my newborn cries muffled by the sound of bombs outside the hospital window. I know it like i know my mother's womb, because the first sound I heard upon arriving to this Godforsaken world was not that of the woman cradling me in her arms, but that of the enemy claiming my land the moment it became mine, holding my miniscule hand in promise that this war will never end, even if the missiles stop; it will sound at the back of my head as the first thing i have ever heard, it will keep mocking me, long as i exist, and taking away the things that were supposed to be mine like my hometown and the sacred garden of my grandparents' house, and all my favorite memories that float around, now forever lost, since the walls they lived in were turned into rubble and dust; like my mother's voice at birth and my father not being so far away, the day i was first brought to this earth. This war may have so many names, depending on the time and place, but don't be fooled, it has always been one and the same. "Take your war away from me", I said but the war is mine, I breathed it in with my first breath and it will stay in my veins till my death, it resides. "take your war away from me", I said but the war won't go until it ends or until I end, at the hands of it.

One of many pieces of information rarely discussed that has stuck with me in studying the Holocaust in a literacy class is that people who survived the death camps often did not survive starvation. It is very difficult for a severely malnourished body to recover from starvation. A severely malnourished body will struggle to process food at all, and many people die in the process of “refeeding.” This is called refeeding syndrome for this reason. Reintroducing food can and often is fatal without careful, medical guidance.
Starvation is one of the most common and effective forms of genocide. What makes it effective is that past a certain point, even if aid has been delivered, it is not enough to save someone from death by starvation. What also makes it effective is that withholding food is viewed as a passive consequence of political turmoil rather than an intentional act of violence among a people. You will see more people die from starvation in genocides across history because it is an effective way to kill many people without the use of state resources.
The starvation of Gaza is intentional. The United States and Israel may gesture that they are delivering or allowing aid into Gaza, but in reality they are active participants in the starvation of Gaza by destroying medical infrastructure, limiting the amount of aid “allowed” in, and blocking aid trucks from entering. Throwing food into Gaza by airdrop at this point in the genocide will not be enough without medical infrastructure to refeed a severely malnourished population. Many will die anyways. Many have already.

Urgent surgery needed to save Gaza teen’s leg
Mohammed is in a crisis situation, on which you can find more information under our “#mohammed al habil” tag.
Mohammed has been unable to attend his physical therapy due to lack of funds. The condition of his leg has deteriorated as a result.
Tumblr media
He now requires an urgent operation in order to save the function in his leg. Mohammed is only 18, and he is terrified of spending the rest of his life with only 1 usable leg.
The operation costs $4,000. Currently, Mohammed's campaign is at just over €17,000. This represents the total funds raised over time, not the funds currently avallable.
New temporary goal: €21,000 EUR
Need to raise: €3,712 EUR (about $3,828 USD)
Please help Mohammed save his leg!
NOTE: I am unable to effectively fundraise for Mohammed. We are urgently hoping for bloggers who will be able to devote time and attention to promoting his campaign. Please consider making a post for Mohammed to promote his campaign so he can save his leg!

Help my family rebuild their lives🙏😭
‼️WE NEED YOU‼️
Hello, I'm Wasim, from Gaza. I'm 20 years old. My family consists of 6 members: my mother, father, 1 sister, and 2 brothers. We were displaced from Rafah to Al-Mawasi in Khan Yunis, under severe bombardment and destruction, without anything, in a small tent that can not accommodate 5 people without the necessities of life.😞💔😭

As was supposed, I was studying at a university in the month of October in which the war broke out, but my university was destroyed, and the universities in the entire sector were destroyed.
Help us and donate to us. Make a difference in our lives. We need you. We are without work and without home😭😞🙏

Time is running out😥💔
Hello my friends and supporters of my campaign to save my life and the lives of my beautiful family.❤🥺
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media
We have made significant progress in achieving our campaign, thanks to you, your support, and your generous donations. There is only a little more to go.😁✌💜
First, let me reintroduce myself: 😃
I am Dr. Mohammad Al-Deeb, an ER physician at Al-Shifa Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip 🩺🩸💉
before the brutal war forced us to leave our homes, memories, and workplaces, which have now become rubble after years of hard work to build them.😓😰
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Our beautiful home, filled with cherished memories, holds in every corner the story of my childhood and youth💙, which my siblings and I dedicated our lives to building.😪😣
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now, I am displaced in the southern part of Wadi Gaza😪,
living with my family in a small tent that lacks even the most basic necessities of life—
no food, no water, no place to sleep, or even a place to personal needs.😓
I

It's actually really frightening to see officially sanctioned genocide denial rise up in Western countries in real time. Like, I remember 20 years ago hearing about how it was illegal in Turkey to point out that the Armenian Genocide happened, and how I thought that that was fucking evil and oppressive. Now here we are, with a campaign in Gaza that experts have called 'a textbook case of genocide', for which the UN Human Rights counsel has determined there are "reasonable grounds" to call it genocide, and the US Congress is trying to make it illegal to criticize Israel. We have Hollywood agencies refusing to represent anyone who points out that a genocide is currently taking place. And it's just the same shit from a fresh asshole as we got from the Turkish government over what happened in Armenia in the 1920s, like "Oh yes, there were killings, but...calling it genocide? Ohhhh, you must be very hateful to our poor little nation to think that our people are capable of that 😢 😭!" Fuck off.
