Here's basically been my life for the last week ^_^; got told that I had two weeks to move all of Grandma's and my stuff out of her old place to as her place had apparently finally sold, but now it seems that there's complications with the deal so I got more time to work with now (thank god).

Hardest part so far has either been lugging all the furniture down the elevator at Grandma's old place and up the stairs at my new apartment, or moving two end-tables, two big chairs, and Grandma's bed-frame down to the dock at her old place the other day to be picked up in 20 minutes since the people arriving to pick it up were arriving early. Most furniture I've ever moved in that amount of time.

Presenting the latest animation of edward18/warahi! Interviews of your favorite alien, paranormal investigator, and pissed off gamer girl are now able to be seen on youtube! For those that wanna watch, here's the video ^_^

Was a more "relaxed" animation than the previous Dragon Ball review animations and the whole production of that video, though it was still a lot of drawing even if it was mostly just the characters sitting around talking. I think it was about 469 drawings total to do, but then there's the coloring and the background-making and audio-overlaying and all that crap afterwards ^_^

Either way, was a bit of a fun time.

Hope everyone had a good meal yesterday  I know it's a day late but I was making this both as a picture and a video, and the video took a while to export from Movie Maker. It has been quite a year for me but I am thankful for each and every one of the people that view my stuff ^_^ so happy there are people out there that actually enjoy what I make. Regardless though, I hope whatever get-togethers or food you've been having, if you celebrate the holiday, are going well! Happy near-end-of-the-year everybody!

This one started out as me feeling kind of “bleh” with family stuff, so I started scribbling to make up for the animations I wasn’t able to work on today due to those interruptions.

Bumblebee and Sari seem to be a fairly popular pairing over on Deviantart so I did a little something of them in my future-Maximal-era style and then scribbled some Mario-Sonic conversation. Threw in Samurai Jack there to fill in the space that was left =)

Alright, let's start making stuff now that I'm...somewhat set up at the new place =) Been mostly working on the Resident Evil animation when I've had free time here to finally finish that up, but startled scribbling today so I ended up with another sheet of doodles. Started off with reviewers that I've seen at times throughout the years who I've liked at varying levels at times. Of them Arlo's easily the one I care for the least but he still has moments I enjoy from him. For Jaiden she's usually pretty fun but there are moments where she kind of loses me. Like that "alternate reality" bit for the Pokemon Diamond video...yeah that was just kind've bleh to me, even if I know what it was referencing from her playthrough. And when I watched the Amazing Island review originally I was just confused at first when Jaiden went on that little bit about the final boss being called The Black Evil. Like yeah, I get it, it's an easy laugh from addressing something that seems racist, but like...black means evil in Japanese stuff. Is that not generally what people think when they hear "black-whatever" in Japanese things? I thought that was like common knowledge. Black Fortress, Goku Black, Black Cross Army. The game's basically just labeling the final boss as "The Evil Evil". I dunno, it's probably just me with what I've grown up with, but when she has moments that nervously point out the "black" stuff in things that she sees it just falls kind of short as a joke to me and feels more like a misunderstanding of the culture the material's from. Other than that she's usually pretty humorous though. Dunkey however, well, I find it very appropriate that HE appears as God in Scott's RPG video. I don't think I've ever seen a video of Dunkey's that I haven't liked. After that felt a bit samurai-ish leading to those pictures of Usagi Yojimbo and then the original manga Hyakkimaru fighting the modern anime Hyakkimaru. New anime's pretty good as a show, but I really wish that Tezuka-based shows and movies would actually try to emulate his art style more usually. And ended it off with Banjo and Kazooie selfieing =P

Doodled some today. The two "reporter/commentators" at the top left make their appearance in the final issue of the first saga of my comics (www.deviantart.com/warahi/art/…). I remember basing them on those two “commentators” from Kids Next Door that would show up every so often. To their right is two of my heroes about to fight each other, Xenohunter from the game I've been making stuff for since High School (www.deviantart.com/warahi/art/…) (www.deviantart.com/warahi/art/…) (www.deviantart.com/warahi/art/…), and Doko Repilzo from my comics (www.deviantart.com/warahi/art/…). And at the bottom is a type of entity that can sometimes be found throughout my universe (though they are rare). They act more as living objects than anything (and I always planned to have them colored "rockyish-brown" and be a bit cracked along the edges to imply how long they've been guarding their objectives (eons)) and are normally stationed to guard special locations or artifacts if they're encountered. Normally they're in a dormant state which is what's seen at the bottom left, but if the area they're set to guard is intruded upon they will awaken to terminate the intruder before returning to "sleep".
