Sometimes people ask me how I get inspiration for my art, and most of the time, it’s just things I need to hear myself. I’ve been working really hard on everything this year- my Patreon, new merch for conventions, and my plush that has been a larger undertaking than expected- and I just hope that it means something and it all pays off, y’know?

Yo~ Got any otome/visual-novel game titles that you highly recommend? I'm not picky on whether its otome, LGBTQ, combined genre, etc. - just so long as the storyline/characters are the *chef's kiss*

1. Our Life: Beginning and Always - Firstly thank you to that anon who . Suggested this i LOVE YOU I WILL LAY MY LIFE DOWN FOR YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH, it's such a lovely and inclusive story. It's heartwarming and sweet, you have a lot of agency, and the CGs are amazing + the customisation options are PHENOMENAL!!! like it's . So fucking good i love it so much going to sob and cry, you might cry playing it because of how sweet it is btw. (Itch.io)

2. Xoxodroplets - Okay so this may not be everyone's taste because the love interests are a bit hm . Ykwim? Like they're assholes but that's how the games been sold, you can date jerks! It's fun, it has cheatcodes, it's a good time and i like how fiery and lowkey bratty the MC is lol it's a nice change of pace from the normal pliant MCs. (Itch.io)

3. Love 365 - This is an app consisting of multiple VNs in it, but the problem is you need to spend coins to buy the stories, and it can be hard to collect them because they could be 300/400 coins and you get like 2/3 coins after daily logins. So either you buy coins or you wait it out/wait for coupons or play the freebies that they have. Overall other than that it's actually really good i like it quite a bit! (Appstore/Google Play)

4. My Candy Love - There's multiple options for this one from highschool to uni to alternate reality so you can choose any of them! However the AP system is a bit fucked because every choice you make will cost you one AP and because the episodes are long it's easy to run out fast. It's on Beemoov dot com but you can also find the app, it's fun i won't lie and I do like the characters so far (I started playing a few days ago), but i do love how you have different choices you can make with your outfits and stuff as well it's cool! 5. Andromeda Six - SO GOOD like the story line is interesting, it's been on my to play list for ages, and i love the diversity when it comes to being able to choose your love interests. It's amazing (itch.io)

6. Tailor Tales - Okay so I've only played one route so far but this is the perfect mix between otome/VN and those style)dress-up games we used to play as kids dkslkd it's fun, you get to style the MC and as the MC is a fashion designer you can get clients, those give you coins and sometimes you have special clients to play further but in general the episode lengths are good, and it's very easy to earn coins to keep playing! However there are some darker aspects to it, and there are trigger warnings at the start of every route telling you what the route entails so that you can skip it if you want!! (Itch.io)

7. Blooming Panic - THE WRITING THE VOICE ACTING THE CHARACTER LORE FUCKING INSANE ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING. And also specifically for the whole set up and theme of the game it's so intriguing and refreshing, for the writing it flows so naturally like how real people would talk and the characters are to die for, they're lovely, funny just its top tier, you could probably finish the whole game in a night if you'd want tbh! Really fun!! (Itch.io)

8. Vincent The Secret of Myers - Not otome, not dating, very much horror now moving on, THE STORYLINE ??? OH MY GOD the TWISTS the TURNS (or maybe I'm too stupid and i fell for it) but even when you know what's going to happen the anticipation is still high. There are certain jumpscares and stuff which did scare the shit out of me but it's . So intriguing like once I started i couldn't stop playing, I wanted more and more. (Itch.io)

9. Therapy with Dr. Albert Krueger - Right off the bat not otome not dating but a pretty good horror visual novel, it's music is disturbing the art style is unique and i love it sm, and it's kind of like related to and in the same universe as Vincent secret of the Myers so it's a nice mini spin off to it!! 10. Our life: Now and Forever - This is a demo but I'd say it's worth a shot because of how calming and warm the art style is + it's just as if not more customisable than our life beginning and always, cute adorable want more @ god. (Itch.io)

11. Extracurriculars - CUTE really short and sweet, a one sit game tbh, not a lot going on but it's good for passing time when you don't want more intricate or deeper story lines. (Itch.io)

12. My Sweet Zombie - LOVE IT!! Love the Li's and the art is sweet as well, the gameplay is kinda long but smaller than a lot of the others on the list, its kinda mature like has sexual implications and darker emotional thoughts in it it can get a bit heavy so that's a warning but other than that heartwarming soft love it. 13. There's This Girl - ITS SO SWEET AND SOFT AND MADE ME GO THROUGH SO MANY EMOTIONS IN SO LITTLE TIME, it's very short but definitely worth the try, it's only online on itch.io though you can't download it. (Itch.io)

14. This my soul - I'm sorry this game made me want robots to start an uprising so that I can have a love life with one (very different from the story I'm just . Hm) anyways, yes it's ... You will cry. Or well i did, its a romance between a human and a robot not a lot going on other than that, short and sweet, another one you could play in one night if you really wanted because i was able to complete it in one night and it's just. 15. Pub Encounter - OKAY SO LET ME START OFF BY SAYING THIS. DILF GAME THEY'RE ALL MIDDLE-AGED MEN SO IT MAY NOT BE YOUR TASTE AND THE MC IS KINDA . she's very. Hm like submissive and compliant honestly in at least the two routes I've played so far BUT ...it's fun </3 it can get really sad tho because the backstory of the guys ... Yeah but overall love it, also for 17+ audiences because it has smut so. (steam)

16. These are some like apps on the phone, some are ones with chat rooms, some are like gacha style card games but have great stories, some have the key system where you need to wait and can only read a certain number of chapters per day okay so: Obey me! Shall we date, Ayakashi, MeChat, Tears of Themis, LoveUnholyc, Mystic Messenger, Wannabe, Mr. Love Queens Choice, Honey Magazine, Ikemen sengoku, Ikemen vampire (tbh anything by CYBIRD), The Arcana (going to make a different point for it because.)

16.5. The Arcana - SO FUCKING GOOD, It mixes in the values of magic and romance so well like it all intertwines beautifully, the art is wonderful, the colours and so PRETTY, again the DIVERSITY !!! IN THE GAME IS AMAZING ++ THE CHOICES and if you like tarot, this is perfect I love how they've characterised the major arcana in a way, it's so so beautiful i absolutely adore it and sometimes they have these infinite keys thing going on over the weekend and you can complete character routes easily using that!! 17. Butterfly Soup - It's super cute, short and i love the gay vibes, it fulfills the sapphic part of me thoroughly there's some trigger warnings on the page when you go to download them, but overall it's really soft and I love the character dynamics!! (Itch.io)

18. Someone stole my lunch! - SHORT, SWEET definition of short and sweet, the endings are funny and the whole thing in general is goofy and fun!! Honestly a complete pick me up kinda game! (Itch.io)

19. May I Take Your Order? - Okay so this may not be everyone's cup of tea but it's SO FUNNY ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS the writing is genius, i recommend it so bad it's goreromantic you'll end up loving it! (Itch.io)

20. Monster Sweethearts - Lesbian dating sim, enough said. Kidding lol but seriously I personally love the art style and how involved you can get in the story very immersive, absolutely adore it! (Itch.io)

21. Love On The Peacock Express - The very very able and wonderful balance to pub encounter THIS GAME IS MILF CENTR HI ! MILF DATING GAME WHAT ELSE IS THERE YO SAY, solve a mystery whilst falling in love with a holy milf, what else could one want! (Itch.io)

22. Otome Legends - Great game, i laughed a lot at the typical otome game antics described at first, but it's really dark, like it toes the line between horror/gore and dating sim. But yeah fun stuff it's just a demo though so it's INCOMPLETE! but it's still fun tbh. (Itch.io)
