There are so many Forest Tent Caterpillars (Malacosoma disstria) out right now, it’s insane! They are a web worm that drops down from the trees using a single #web to help them get around after hatching. They are not harmful to and do not nest in the trees, but large groups can defoliate an entire tree when food is scarce. Luckily the #neem oil seems to keep them out of the garden and the chickens seem to love them so that’s a bonus. (at The First Best Thing Farms)
