You know the hyper-fixation hitting different when you make them Pokemon teams.

King Candy (Fairy): I made him a fairy type trainer, as the fairy type is often associated with sweets and other such foods. The fairy type also tends to fit his aesthetic, of shine, frills and pin- SALMON, i mean salmon. There is no other reason why he's this type (🏳️‍🌈).

Reasons:

Slurpuff: It's literally the "Meringue Pokemon", a french dessert / candy. It's also pink and white, and has a general silly vibe to it.

Grimmsnarl: Fairy/Dark type to cross-over with Turbo's team, and shiny to match colour themes more. Probably makes more sense on Turbo's team than it does here, but I wanted to have atleast one Pokemon the same on each team. Fantasy vibes, so kinda fits with the King idea? I feel King Candy could get away with that one as part of the disguise.

Alcremie: The "Cream Pokemon". Essentially same reasons as Slurpuff, to fit with the whole candy sweet thing. (I feel like he'd have the Salted Cream variant, red and white, but I couldn't figure out how to change it on the website)

Rapidash: Fantasy vibes, but also because of Skittles, the uni-candy-corn that was going to be King Candy's familiar/pet before being scrapped from the movie. (also, the hair looks like taffy and the horn like one of those Oreo ice cream cones)

Mawile: Large teeth and metal, huh? Themes of eating and deception? Pretending to be something you're not? Sweet face, but vicious? Never heard of that before. (CYBUG CANDY CYBUG CANDY CYBUG-)

Dachsbun: Last food based fairy type? Again, fits same role as Slurpuff and Alcremie, to sell the disguise.

Non-fairy/ Other options: Mimikyu (fairy, disguise, vibes too creepy for KC), Mr. Mime (fairy, jester, vibes too creepy for KC), Vespiquen (royalty), Bisharp (knight), Nidoking (royalty), and Politoed (described as leader of frogs)

TURBO (Dark): I made Turbo a Dark type trainer, as the Dark type is all about trickery, disguise, thievery and dirty tactics, which Turbo exemplifies. Also, the Dark type is generally seen as the """Evil""" type.

Reasons:

Weavile: The fastest dark type (excusing any legendaries or special forms), which I feel Turbo would value greatly on his team. The red and the smug face also hint to his design.

Zoroark: Oh, so your whole thing is disguises and you're literally the "Illusion Fox Pokemon"? AND you're red? On the team.

Grimmsnarl: Fairy/Dark to cross over with King Candy's team, and shiny to match colour themes more. Personally, I think Morgrem fits Turbo more (a short asshole), but the shiny of Grimmsnarl fits more and I don't believe Turbo would be caught dead with anything considered inferior, like a not-fully-evolved Pokemon. Only the best for the king, after all.

Sharpedo: FAST. It's a torpedo, and it's described as "the bully of the fear" and as being to "swim at speeds of up to 75 mph" which, while not as fast as a race car, true, is still pretty fast, and I think he's admire that.

Spiritomb: Something something death imagery, something something back from the dead, something something your misdeeds will not go unpunished.

Thievul: THIEF >:( Getting his grubby hands all over Sugar Rush, all over that code that's not his. Also red and also Thievul deserves more love.

Non-dark / Other options: Revaroom (CAR POKEMON. WHY AREN'T YOU DARK TYPE), Rotom (Possessing and transforming machines, like a virus...maybe I should've made him a ghost type trainer-), Parasect (TURBO IS THE FUNGUS /ref but also parasite themes and bug), Bisharp (Vibes mainly, also Pawniard looks like him), Rapidash (speed, and to pair with KC), Gengar (creepy smile glowing eyes wombo combo), Mimikyu (disguise, somehow didn't fit the vibe?), Banette (something about something from your childhood being replaced by something horrible. also, yellow eyes and teeth), Darkrai (something about childhood nightmares) and Hypno (yellow? i dunno, i'm a Hypno fan, I gotta get her in somehow).

Since the whole "Dream Blunt Rotation" thing is going around, I thought I'd share mine

For some background, I've never smoked (weed, tobacco, or otherwise) and don't really plan to (except maybe weed once or twice because I mean I live in Colorado whaddya expect) but if I did these are the people I'd pass the blunt to. I'm also including the location the smoking is gonna happen, the snacks we've got on deck, and the background music we're gonna have on a nice, calmingly low volume.

The Smokers:

Link (The Legend of Zelda)

He's normally a silent guy, and I feel like that wouldn't change if he was smoking the Mary Jane. If anything it'd be a calming experience for him, which he definitely needs after saving Hyrule in multiple lives. Only downside is if it's BotW/TotK Link he'd get a killer case of munchies.

2. Nick (Left 4 Dead 2)

I can definitely see him as the type to smoke tobacco cigarettes on occasion, but not exactly be a weed guy. He's an asshole when he's sober, sure, but when he's high I feel like he'd mellow out a bit. Wouldn't get the munchies as much as someone like Link would. He'd probably just sit there and be high, maybe eat a thing or two.

3. Quinlan Vos (Star Wars)

A more obscure character, even in Star Wars (most casual fans, like those who haven't seen the Clone Wars series, probably don't know him). But he's 1) my favorite Jedi character aside from Ahsoka, and 2) probably the type to get EXTREMELY philosophical when he's high. I can see him smoking weed in his free time already, and free time is something he has a lot of considering he's not exactly your average Jedi.

4. Callie (Splatoon)

Callie is the BEST girl in Splatoon (yes, better than Marina, fight me). She'd probably get super sweet (even more than she already is) when she's baked, super cuddly, and killer munchies. Would probably gush at Quinlan Vos getting all philosophical on her. She'd probably also suddenly be super clingy and touchy with everyone (which I personally wouldn't mind).

5. Riku (Kingdom Hearts)

Similar to Link, I just wanna give bro a chance to relax a bit. He'd probably be a philosophical stoner like Quinlan Vos, but he'd say the stupid shit like "Duuuude...isn't lasagna just spaghetti cake?" And make everyone laugh even though it sounds so dumb.

6. Palutena (Kid Icarus)

She's a goddess, shawty needs to relax and let Pit take care of things for a bit. Would probably also be a very clingy stoner like Callie, maybe even get a bit clingy WITH Callie and everyone else in the group (again, I would not mind one bit). She'd also get real bad munchies, meaning Link may have to be on cooking duty despite having food on deck and being high. And that could lead to disaster. But that's just part of the thrill.

Area Zero (Pokemon Scarlet & Violet)

Aside from the wild Pokemon roaming around, I think Area Zero would be the ideal place for this pot-smoking party to go down. It's so damn ethereal and we can just bask in the Terastal energy while we also bask in the devil's lettuce.

So I was able to go to the fair last week. I actually had a great week for the most part. I started going to the fair on Thursday evening to see the first of 2 demolition derbies heald at the fair every year. It was pretty good but the action wasn't super intense until the last 20 minutes when the 9 cylinder cars were on the track.

It went 4 cylinders, 6 cylinders, and then 8 cylinders. I don't know much about cars, but that event taught me that 8 cylinder cars have a lot more power than the other 2 types of cars. I also had the best barbecue food I've ever had that night, I also had a fair fried dough and a large slushie.

The next day, I picked up my mom from the bus station, which is conveniently located right across the street from the fairgrounds. By the time I picked her up, it was 5 pm. So we went to the fair as there was a comedy show we were going to see that started at 7. Thè picture of the stage behind the net is the picture of the comedy show, they had it in our towns Baseball field, and only like 20 people came so it was real intimate, but it was also really hilarious. Plus, he's good at singing. (His name is Mike Bova; Look him up).

Before the comedy show, we caught the mid to end of an acrobat show, which was pretty incredible. The last act was the man with the stars jumper being shot out of a cannon. I got to talk to all of the performers in the acrobat show, and the comedian was really nice and talked one on one with everyone there, including my mom and me. Before we went to the show that night, I took my mom to the bbq place so she could taste how good it was, we also each had a souvenir pepsi cup thats like 40 ounces, but she didn't take hers with her when she left so now I'm stuck with 2.

The next day, Saturday, my mom and I went to the fair, starting at 12. Our plan was to ride the rides all day that day, see the exhibits, eat our favorite fair food, and then go to the last of the 2 demolition derbies. In reality, most of that happened, but there were some deviations in the plan. We did ride all the rides that we were able to age wise, but I had planned to ride each ride at least twice before I left as that is what I usually do at the fair. We did ride the bumper cars 2 times, but my stomach started getting sick after the other rides and eating, so I didn't want to go on any of the other rides more than once. My mom was also pretty tired out and needed her inhaler before we left.

We did have fair food, nothing too crazy, my mom got her first funnel cake, and I tried deep fried oreos, plus we stayed stocked up on waters and we each had a couple slushies again. I don't think we got anything else before we left because we were both feeling a bit full. But she did get me a pack of 10 special pokemon cards and a binder for them; I definitely wasn't expecting that, but I was happy. We had 2 quarters, so we tried my favorite coin pushing game that I like to play at the fair, I didn't want to waste more money on it. I did end up winning a few quarters, but I lost them again.

We also didn't end up going to the demolition derby, by 3:30pm we were feeling faired out and wanted to go back to my place (at least I did; if she wanted to stay or was bummed out about not going to the show, she didn't tell me). We ended up giving our tickets to 2 of my cousins whom we ended up running into before we left.

That was the end of my fair adventure but it was not the end of the visit with my mom, the next morning we took a bus to see my uncle who lives about an hour away and we stayed there until the next evening. It was good to see my birth family again (at least the ones who are the safest for me to be around) but I was also glad to be home with my adoptive mom and youngest brother where I feel most free and comfortable to be myself.

3 male characters I love:

my three favorite male characters are jaune arc, oscar pine & james ironwood! jaune took a while to grow on me (because of reason i'll elaborate on further down), oscar is just a sweet guy and ironwood... i might not agree with everything he does, but he's a very interesting character (just not always a good person :') )

3 female characters I love:

my three favorite rwby gals are pyrrha nikos, yang xiao long and weiss schnee. pyrrha is just such a sweet character and she deserves the world! yang is a character i kinda just vibe with, i can't quite explain what i like about her, only that i do like her. and weiss has great character development and an interesting background!

3 romantic ships I love:

i have to defend myself first and say that i'm a multishipper, so i pretty much vibe with most ships. but my three favorites have to be blake x yang, oscar x ruby and jaune and pyrrha. pyrrha x jaune is a ship i mainly like because i love pyrrha and jaune would make her happy (even if i feel like she's out of his league–). blake and yang... well, i saw the scene where they got together in volume 9 before even watching rwby and even without any context, i cried because they were just so cute 🥺 and ruby and oscar... honestly, i just like both of those characters and i haven't quite settled on what my fav ruby ship is, but i do want oscar to be happy, so he gets the silver eyed girl for now 😌

3 platonic dynamics I love:

this one is hard because i've got so many pairing that i like as ships but also don't mind as friends. like i could list the same pairings above, because i'd love them even if they were just friends. but i think i'd have to go for... sun x neptune, jaune x ruby and yang x weiss. i like all three of those pairs but also not enough to really ship them. they all have a very lovely dynamic though and always enjoy seeing them together!

3 favorite moments in canon:

my absolute favorite moment is the bumbleby kiss! the music, the visuals, the voice acting... just everything about that scene is perfect! by far my favorite moment in canon! the other two are tricky, but i think that scene where jaune / team jnr see pyrrha's statue has to be one of them. it was really sad but also some nice closure that i hadn't really felt until that point. and the third scene would have to be ruby's confrontation with neopolitan + all the people that died so far. just being able to see pyrrha again or roman was so nice! and absolutely heartbreaking to see them fight ruby & co. :') (plus billy kametz voiced roman in that scene which only hurt even more...)

3 favorite headcanons:

i don't really have a lot of headcanons for rwby, but i highkey headcanon james ironwood to be a yandere. he already isn't really a good person and he did not hesitate to shoot a guy, so he wouldn't hesitate either if someone was flirting with his partner 👀 another headcanon would be that rwby likes oreos. i can't explain it, but she gives me that vibe. i could also see her and yang (+ maybe the rest of team rwby) argue over the correct way to eat them. and lastly, i headcanon that nora's favorite pokemon would be pikachu.

3 least favorite things about it:

the thing i hate most about ruby is how some people in the fanom portray jaune. i absolutely hate jaune x his harem with a burning passion. everything i see about it feels just so out of character for jaune, yet i see way too many people portray him as this overpowered beast who can't help but fall for every woman he meets & have them fall for him as well. i disliked jaune for quite a bit when i started watching rwby, before slowly realizing that it's not canon!jaune that i have a problem with but fanon!jaune.

another thing i don't like about rwby is how soon they left behind beacon academy. honestly, i loved the first three seasons because of that setting and i'm still a bit sad we didn't get to see more of them during that time. school/college settings with a twist are really fun, like what my hero academia has. i kinda miss beacon but i also understand why they aren't going back to it. (i'd still like to see them at least go back once when rwby ends)

and the last least favorite thing about rwby... probably the art style in the earlier seasons. it's kinda nice in a way to see the show evolve over the years, but i also can't help but wish we got to see certain scenes or characters in more polished models.

I would honestly be very relieved lol, protection wouldn't be a big deal then but more importantly, I never have to really decide if I want to have a baby; so, I can't make the wrong choice/have no chance of fucking a kid up.
