After reading the Book of Bill, I feel like your characterization of him remains impressively accurate! My view of Bill has changed slightly due to further emotional insight (which was shocking) but I think that the way you have written him with Dipper is really how he’d actually be if he managed to be in such a relationship, in that kind of universe, with that kind of development. Even more so now that we know a lot more about his backstory (his baby photo is so cute). And of course, you have always nailed his chaotic energy, humor, and Dipper’s awkward but lovable nerd self perfectly.

I love how we got so much juicy info and content about his love life, exes, his henchmen, *everything*! So many emotional curveballs too. This triangle completely spilt his guts out and felt so betrayed for it. I’ve gotten so attached to Bill as a character that I definitely felt sadness and bittersweetness with certain parts, and with his canon ending…so I’m glad to have your writing to tide me over. I’m sensitive and struggle to handle things like angst without a happy ending, gah. 😂 I mean I knew a happy ending was never in the cards, Bill is one messed up, broken being and he really got everything coming for him. Your Familiar AU! Bill has truly got it so nice, can he even fathom how good he’s got it?!

I guess overall, what I want to say is that the book was amazing and made me appreciate your writing even more!! I genuinely only use tumblr to read your works. Your fics have me loyal to BillDip forever, and nothing can change that even with the immense and *very* interesting details we gained about Bill and Ford lol. I’m just in too deep with these two! uhhh hai @extra-somethin-somethin and i made a daycare au and it’s been slowly rotting our brains the last few days ^^; not giving much context bc it’s A Lot but basically team urameshi + keiko and yukina are all kids in a daycare that botan and shizuru work at, and the events of yyh are them all playing an elaborate game of pretend. koenma’s dad owns the place but he kinda dumped the responsibility onto his son to teach him responsibility even tho he’s a tiktok rotted 13 year old lmao. uhh i love these cuties so much.

Golden Kingdom Breakfast and Skyfish and Chips

Still feeding friends this week! For breakfast, ended up cooking with ingredients that I had around: pancakes, sausage, leftover soup

But the Skyfish is where the fun is. Stuffed swai with cooked marinated beef, carrot, scrambled egg, broccoli (the cabbage got left in the b&b and I had to improvise) and then wrapped it in a tofu skin and battered and fried them up. The wings were potatoes mandolined thin and rolled up and slightly battered with the same batter and fried.

It's like fish and chips plus! I don't know what else to say! Chilchuck was right, some ale with this is pretty great. Prep under the read more!
