Today is Spirit Day, a national day of action to stand with LGBTQ+ youth against bullying. 💜🌈 One way we can fight for our LGBTQ+ community is to VOTE on the issues impacting us most.
Last year, more than 500 state bills were introduced to target LGBTQ+ rights, and 75 became law. The people WE elect have a direct impact on our community.
So make a plan to vote today at WeAll.Vote/voterhub — and let’s vote LOUD and PROUD this year! 🗳️

If you're wondering why polling averages are suddenly showing Trump winning despite all the bad news he's gotten lately- it might have something to do with this:
Tumblr media
Basically, Republicans are ratfucking the polling averages by churning out huge numbers of partisan polls, and the polling aggregators/analysts like 538 aren't doing due diligence to compensate for it.
Now, what is the purpose of this?
Well, in the immediate-term, it creates a narrative that Trump is winning, boosting morale of his supporters while demoralizing support for Democrats and Harris.
Beyond that, if polling averages show that Trump is winning ahead of election day-which we can pretty much guarantee they will, because see above-then they will use that as "proof" of fraud if Democrats subsequently win.
Basically, they are engineering a pretext for their next coup attempt in front of us.
The only numbers that decide anything are actual votes. So ignore the polls, and VOTE.

BREAKING: Voters in Tarrant County, Texas are reporting that the voting machines are flipping their votes from Trump to Kamala Harris
The voters are urging everyone else to check their printed ballots before submitting them.
"Reports were that people who selected Trump on the screen were seeing Harris on the printed ballot." - This is according to Tarrant GOP Chair
This stuff boils my blood. Why does Tarrant County utilize such an obviously vulnerable system? This also shows that it's not just Dominion machines that are corrupt. ALL voting machines are intrinsically evil. We need to go back to voting in person on election day, with human hands as the counting method. So far, we have seen reports of flips like this happening in Tennesee, Georgia, and now Texas. This sets a precedent for us to demand the publicizing of all the machine data and the proprietary software.
It's a good thing we're catching it before the election and NOT after. 🤔

70 Million People Have Cast A Ballot
As of 11/2 70 Million People have early voted either in person or via mail and their ballots have been received and verified.
Tumblr media
For reference 73 million people voted for Trump in 2020. We are almost to the halfway point of the total number of ballots cast in 2020. Tomorrow is the last day to In Person Early Vote in New Jersey. Unless voting trickles down tomorrow or election day, this is proving to be the largest Election of our life times (and I'm old AF)

I try to avoid heavy topics here because I do enough politics and such on other social media platforms, but I wanted to share this for a couple reasons:
1 - it really breaks down Project 2025 and what impacts it'll have.
2 - it's got an easy access Register To Vote included in it.
The deadline might be past for some of you, but for others it isn't. I do hope you'll vote this election - and the ones after. The local ones that crop up throughout the year, and your state elections. I hope you'll volunteer what time you can to help others who face blocks to voting to help ensure they can vote.
I don't care what lies anyone else has told you, voting matters. It's important. There is no "lesson" that can be taught by withholding your vote. If you're sick of hearing "vote blue no matter who" you need to understand why you hear it.
Because people vote once every four years, don't vote locally, and what little progress is made is shattered every four years or so. Over and over, because the song of dance "don't vote to teach the [left/democrats/liberals] a lesson" has been being sung since before I was born.
The only lesson it teaches is that it's easy to dupe well-meaning Americans into shooting themselves in the foot.
If you're going to let your anger allow you to led around by the nose, there's no need to let me know.

This year, three states are voting on housing-related ballot measures and ALL 50 states will elect positions up and down the ballot that make decisions on housing. 👀🏘️
Federal, state, and local elected officials make decisions on rent control, zoning laws, affordable housing, new developments, and more — and YOU have the power to decide who makes decisions about YOUR home.
Make a plan to vote early right now at WeAll.Vote/plan.

Attention US Voters!
Tumblr media
Please do not share photos of your ballot, or of other peoples' ballots. Don't invalidate your vote.
Just share your "I voted" sticker. They're also different for each state, and some have really cool designs!

Just leave your ballots!! Someone is gonna come fix the issue and these election workers are going to be here “until late tonight” and they will “process them later on tonight”
Who trusts them? 🤔

tumblr is the one place I tend not to talk about current social issues including the US presidential election (I am from the US) because I focus this energy in person AND on my social media where people know who I am behind the screen.
however, it’s appalling to me that this race is so defining by how vocal people are for voting Republican/supporting Trump (who is NOT a politician). the gender discrimination and voter suppression is horrifying. I live in a place where voter registration, mail in ballots, and other information is readily accessible and often encouraged. there are states and counties in other parts of the US that make voter rights and access much more difficult, and I often forget my privilege when it comes to this because of how accessible these are for me.
I will never understand why Jan. 6 riot at the capitol did not sway people to vote against Trump nor will I ever understand why Gen Z men are leaning towards voting Republican. this is the first time a nonwhite, female candidate has ever been elected for either of the democratic and republican parties, and it’s telling how many people vote based off of preconceived biases and stereotypes. for all voters, single/multiple issue and otherwise, every presidential election feels like losing basic human rights.
this is a long post that is more of a rant but all to say—what the fuck
