#slank-screams🗯️#yes this is about rancid gautier man‚ miklan my beloathed #heartbreaking news: windows shitty xbox gamer tab #is actually very useful for recording onscreen lines with audio #dunno if its the autism creature in me - but its relaxing putting character lore and making it super organized #seriously tho: the writing advice of ~hearing~ your blorbo speak #<- actually very good advice; it helps me to iron out dialogue to avoid the dreaded He Would Not Fucking Say That™#also Miklan's eng VA is honestly kinda incredible with how much ~range~ he gives the character #He's able to convey a lot of emotion and character within a single sentence #thats saying a lot since miklan's dialogue is Very Limited and sparsed out #You have to go out of your way to make the character speak way more #<- has gone out of their way to trigger Miklan's Ally Dialogue with Syl‚ Ing‚ Mitya‚ Fe and Purple-Haired-AntiChrist #anyways getting back on the topic: im ~almost~ done compiling rancid gautier man ally dialogue #i just need to add ing‚ mitya and fe ally lines to the note #while also try to unlock his special dialogue for non-crested units such as petra #b-money (byleth) is PWNING my ass who tf souped up this autist???#it took a level 24/26 syl to pwn the guy... ugh it was so grindy #honestly in the future when i play the other routes #i might just trigger all of the green ally dialogue and post it all onto here #will save everyone the headache of tryna grind thru 3hopes and ripping their hair out

me after editing the aau prologue for the bajillionth time

i like normal Childe!! almost as much as i like Foul Legacy... not quite tho. the circled ones are the ones i'm unsure/hesitant on because Childe has a lot of layers, he's a complex lad!!! i like him but it's hard to explain why... he's like a stress toy i would squish when nervous or mad but also i love him and want a hug but also the common fan characterization of him is so rancid to me that sometimes i want to stay 100 miles away. none of this makes sense at all, but long story short i like him very much but only certain characterizations of him (like mine), especially ones that give him depth, love those a lot

I don't personally enjoy death in my stories for one because I have no experience with it personally and for two because you can't torture a character anymore once they've died 😇

#and I mean like perma death not talking abt any afterlifes and the afterlife in my story is based on DnD type deals #but even harder to get to like people can't just die and come back like nothing it is a PROCESS and NOT an easy one and also #not commonly practiced because it is rare to get it right (to be more direct it HASN'T been gotten right yet it's just a theory atm)#I never talk about my story or character OCs BUT I guess here's a taste of it #anyway I don't really kill off my characters but if I do experience a death of some sort then I probably will start writing abt it #but for now my characters are relatively safe also this isn't to say I'm unwilling to write abt death I just don't feel equip to handle it #in terms of a story revolving or somewhat revolving around a grieving process of some sort of dealing with all the different feelings #I dunno that stuff so I wouldn't write it as of right now #torture on the other hand #OH a good example for how I view the whole death thing in my story is kinda like Adventure Time #like that episode with Ghost Princess like ghosts and other paranormal stuff exist and are prominent #and they do go and meet with death thru a portal but that's like the surface level afterlife you can't really hit the deeper levels #unless you are dead and no one can see that stuff unless they are dead like when Finn dies we finally see what it's all like #as for like the levels and stuff I dunno abt all that I have like a very vague concept of how that would work but it's kinda like #beyond human comprehension y'know? that's how I view it and like death is PERMANENT and it's not suppose to be messed with #or bad things happen 👻👻👻#there are even more things abt it like little exceptions to the rules but the rules still apply even still it's just like #living on borrowed time or being forced to like #well I don't wanna get too much into that tho that's like super spoilers #but man I enjoy thinking abt it

its interesting as someone who used to be a bit closer to the very online capital A "Art Community" but is now a little more outside of it and focused on local art academia etc instead because the former always compliments me on "art style" and the latter always compliments me on the supposedly bizarre subject matter choices i make... its not bad its just interesting to see those two bubbles and how surprisingly separated they can be. unfortunately for them both, my art style is only Like This because i have a learning disability that slightly colours every line i draw and the unusual compositional choices like only drawing one eye and shit is because i was on deviantart in 2009 <3

#i dunno i was thinking about this because i was doing some experimentation with different ways to draw cartoon characters #i used to do it way more often but recently ive been super busy from school and family stuff going on (nothing bad just a lot of work)#the bmpmp3's artstyle is only extremely consistent when shes stressed!!!! jk jk but kinda LOL #if im too busy to play around my drawings will slip into whatevers comfortable for my dysgraphic hand <3 <3 <3 #but i loooove experimenting and fucking around. consistency for brand purposes is long outside of my perspective at this point #do i wanna draw detailed hair and faces... do i not.... who knows. it will change within the hour #i do appreciate when people compliment my art style tho even tho its not something i really try to do #because while i dont try to make things look a certain way - recently i had decided to not hold back on my dysgraphic nature #i probably talked about it before. instead of painfully agonizing and trying to get a line perfect and scrapping a whole drawing because #of the hand-got-tired-after-2-lines jerks and wiggles i just decided to leave that all in. show off the drawing even if its scribbly #the other day i got a compliment saying my art style is robust. im not sure i fully grasp what that means but i really like that compliment #its very evocative. robust..... gonna be thinking about it for a while #but im not joking about the academia thing professors get so baffled by some of my drawing choices and like i straight up tell them #these are habits of children largely. children on early internet in my case that i never grew out of but also habits that children still us #go on an art website and sort by new and look up fanart for something popular with kids and you'll probably see someone doing #stuff with similar artistic choices. maybe not the same because i am 26. but similar. coming from similar places.#they always laugh and seem to think im being humble or making a joke.... im not orz im not trying to downplay my skills either #if anything im trying to bring up the skills of a thousand children uploading oc art every moment of every day.... they are out there...#yeah i dunno its funny these different relationships im having to different art worlds. in the end i will always probably be a tiny bit #outside of them all as some kind of alien or creature masquerading as human but i think thats what we're all doing after all

#'fighting for the status quo is actually rebellious you know' wrong. now im going write ss f/erdinand having a giant mental breakdown.#the route is literally them fighting without questioning anything #to the point where the deers with a copy paste route end up having more story scenes than them #like the son of the main catalyst never learnt about what his dad does #and the stand in lord briefly questions the point of the war... before shrugging it off #i think people overhyping the lions as the bestest found family is the reason i found them super underwhelming lmao #like. most of the supports are them not getting along.#and even the two besties end up having a dumb fight for five years???? why did the writers do this???#and by default they die for d/imitri on the other 3h routes while hes clearly not in the state to lead them #rantings rambles #ss being where everyone else dies off screen is super hilarious tho #of course these folks called gw deers sheep lmaoooo #anyway i/ngrid and c/atherine being the characters with designs i really liked #ending up being characters i cant stand at all urgh #dunno if 3/h discourse is worse than people hating g//f's m/abel over an explicitly non canon story tho #them former invokes an 'urgh' while the later makes me want to beat them to half to death with a wiffle bat cos the straight up sexism
