Pretty good training today. This is the first light week of my current #beyond531 cycle, today being #squat day as usual. This is 275x1x5 without a belt, followed by a #dropset of 210x8. The workout: #hyperextensions 3x10, #squat 275x5 and 210x8, #dumbbellbenchpress 20x4x12, #chestsupportedmachinerow 30x4x12. Oh! I forgot to mention that I stopped doing #dumbbellrows for now because my right wrist still handle the stress after a certain weight. Okay so today’s workout grout to you by the word “ouch”. When I was 27 I fell skateboarding at a local skatepark. (Yes I used to skate. For a very long time) Anyway, I broke my elbow. Had no insurance and I worked construction. It hurt for a long time and would POP. Anyway at 37 I finally went to the doctors because it bothered me so much. X-ray showed a bone spur IN the joint. Also have tendinitis and arthritis. Said surgery was the fix. Did I do it? That’s a big fat NO. Why? Because I’m a man dammit!!!🤷♂️😒😝 So I’ve had this issue forever now. I’m 48 now and do consider surgery once in while. Today was one of those days. 120lb dumbbell presses (most I have ever done) my elbow literally CRUNCHED in the joint. Thing is... I think I fixed it! I think the weight put so much pressure on the joint it crunched was he bone spur!😂. My elbow feels looser and easier to move. An NO pain! Weird right??? Now only if I could fix my wrists😝.
