Alright so here are two (somewhat related) mini theories that are kinda bullshit about Until the Quiet Takes Us, Dream of Gentler Stars.

1. I think the lines “we will find a world for us/ where I can save her/ a more beautiful end” could contain an auditory pun that changes the whole meaning of these lines. If you don’t have the lyrics on hand, “save her” could be misheard as “savor” changing that part to “we will find a world for us/ where I can savor/ a more beautiful end”. Which while it might not make sense in the plot of the song, it is a grammatically correct sentence.

2. This brings me to my second theory. I think on top of its actual meaning, the section that starts with “so it was never a matter of ‘if’/ just a matter of ‘when’” and ends with the lines mentioned above could be about Blaseball itself. I think the lyrics could be interpreted to be about the abrupt nature in which Blaseball ended and how Coronation didn’t get a satisfying conclusion. How Blaseball was never meant to last but we were all too caught up in the moment to realize that.

Don’t subscribe to these theories because they’re probably nonsense. I just couldn’t stop thinking about them.

a miscellaneous thought for future GW2 expansions; it'd be neat if we eventually wound up with one that includes a PvE version of the Warclaw mastery tree to make it relevant outside WvW. it's got a neat concept and some fun skins, but there's not really any reason to ever use it outside that specific game mode since none of its skills carry over into PvE. with siege damage mechanics added to some open world events, it'd be neat to see the og siege mount get an update.

bonus points if the expansion it's included in is Mists-focused, since that'd match up with the Warclaw's current lore, too.

•They can manipulate people's dreams, and cause nightmares so powerful they can drive a person mad.

•On the other hand, they can make healing dreams.

•They can cause strong hallucinations.

•I bet these kids have very dark potential.

•I wonder if they could like mess with reality.

•Like they have a dream space, but you don't know you're in a dream space, and they can alter it to their liking.

•Like Inception? Or domain expansion?

•Some rare children can shape shift.

•Like the fluidity of dreams?

•The majority of genderfluid kids are in the Morpheus cabin.

•They also help with transitioning and all that.

•People come to them in the dead of night because of their nightmares.

•These guys are definitely most active at night.

•I don't think they're necessarily sleepy all the time like the Hypnos cabin, though.
