Based on the preview alone I genuinely feel that we could be getting one of the best warriors books out of Star.

We have already got an all time banger quote in “I would have lead RiverClan into a golden dawn, not a bloody sunset” and an excellent and intense fight scene. As well as some really interesting characterisation of Frostpaw. Poor girl has been through hell and back and still her number one priority is her clan.

Regardless of how the plot turns out at very least it seems Kate Cary is on top form with the writing here.

I think the reason Orym returns to the Ludinus point is that we are discussing the destruction of the gods because Ludinus is making an active plan to kill them now. He is the reason they are having this discussion in the first place, and until he is taken care of, the gods discussion will always exist within the context of Ludinus and the Vanguard, and their plan sucks! it will almost surely cause destruction far far greater than anything the gods can do behind the divine gate. i’m sorry, if jessica died when she was 15, and she’s 6 years older than lockwood, and she died 6 years before he showed lucy and george her room at the end of the whispering skull, which takes place the june after the november of the screaming staircase, which is 6 months after lucy joins the agency, and george joined a year before her, that means that he was 15 when he showed them the room, 14 when lucy joins the agency, and 13!! when george does. he was either like 12 or 13 when he started the agency. i thought they were like 16 screaming staircase and 18 by the end of it this is so weird

Like I’m sorry but I don’t know who we all think we’re fooling with this. The vast majority of men do not see women as human or fully human. Like it’s true. I think for a lot of them, they see men as actual human beings with depth, dignity, and complexity but they see women as sort of…lesser shallow beings pretending to be human. We’re slightly more intelligent animals to them, or sexual objects that they can exploit or plow through as they wish, or property to protect and covet, or scapegoats to unleash their wrath upon, or the butt of a joke that nobody wrote, OR vapid useless bimbos who are the very emblem of intellectual vacancy and inferiority, or we’re simply nonexistent lol, but at the end of the day, we’re never afforded the same sapience and wholeness and interiority that MEN are capable of, honestly, not even close.
