Mid November! Tbh we don’t have like…a set anniversary in the sense that we have a date where we officially became a thing??? I had been domming them for a month or two before I asked them out and they turned me down at first after thinking about it 🫶🏻 but then we just kinda…kept interacting romantically and I kept domming them and I went to go visit them for the first time irl a few months later! And that was when we were like “Oh shit we definitely are an official thing when did this happen.”

ok so im a little bit face blind especially when it comes to men i am not familiar with (which is why i have a recurring dream abt physically running into lando on a run and having him Feel Familiar enough to act like i know him from school or smthn out of fear that i am forgetting someone who im supposed to know but not enough to realize where i Actually know him from. real thing that has happened in other scenarios to me.).

but it was a picture after a match today (well. yesterday? i guess? or possibly the day before but no earlier than that) where i swear someone posted him right after he played and his hair looked glorious (no headband just flow) and they were like. wow how does he look like this after 5 [sets?? games?? idk how tennis works]. definitely some kind of brunette. maybe sandy brunette. w beautiful hair. so possibly him.

have 2 ask… what’s ur rendering process??? because like idk if this makes sense but your work always looks like if someone drew with oil pastel colored pencils and i have NO IDEA how u do that shit 😭😭 sorry if this is like. a lot to ask i’ve always been so curious

i usually start out w a rough sketch and lay down base colors under it and when i’m ready merge the layers and start painting it and adding detail ! sometimes i even just paint over the sketch on one layer

i do this with most of my stuff becasue it makes it easier to bring together the lines and color in an interesting way and also easier to like. redo a face or something without having to go back and forth on each layer.

and for colors and shading i just experiment with colors and diff hues. go crazy use a bunch of varying hues and shades for shading and lighting instead of one chosen color. putting a slight hue change/jitter on ur brush also adds a lot to the piece. and when i render if it’s more stylized i just go in with fun shapes and scribbles and lines!!! sometimes a color choice looks really weird up close but really good once ur finished. just go crazy and experiment is my advice.

My brain has gone back and forth on between which anime if arma or new is my favorite. Cause even with all its issues Arma means a lot to me, it’s the reason I got into getter and helped me through one of the worst times of my life- But then new is objectively better written and it drives me nuts compared to arma it’s not talked about ENOUGH despite all the stuff you can poke at from it’s plot and I’m trying to pinpoint that reason since the general consensus is “no one hates new and it gets a lot of fanart in the Japanese community yet it’s never deeply acknowledged so it feels unpopular”

So my standpoint is “do I keep investing into the popular iteration despite its issues or do I invested into the less flawed unpopular iteration when it comes to introducing getter to new people?” cause man as much as I’m a critical person of media I still can forgive some messy writing if I have a good time with it and can clearly tell the staff had fun making it, which is definitely armas case. (Though they absolutely had fun with new too)
