One pair of arms crossed over a chest where a star pulsed with the heartbeat of universes, alive yet dying as lazarus green eyes glowered down at the league and bats alike.
“You know you could, fucking call, right?” they whined, aura of terror suddenly broken, unnatural fear torn away and leaving all of them wrong-footed and confused.

Hi love your art!! Wanted to ask if you think Giovanni has any opinions on Ghetsis' damaged arm? (personally think Ghetsis makes it into a bigger deal more than anyone else, he's so dramatic)
Hi! Thank you for the ask. I’m glad that you like my art!
The question actually made me realize I never decided on what exactly is wrong with Ghetsis’ right arm besides the fact that a) he can use it but only for very general movements/gestures as shown in the bw opening animatic, b) it’s scarred in some way as shown in the evolutions ova, and c) it came after his eye injury (won’t be able to find a source for this one rn). So uh I’ve sketched some concepts for what it might be.
(Personally, I’m partial to the electric one I modelled after lightning scars but Pokemon attack scars are probably the most likely option)
Going back to the question, I agree with you to a degree. Ghetsis is obsessed with being perfect so any “imperfections” like that really get to him. His pride doesn't let him admit to it though unless he's veeery close to someone. Meanwhile yeah, Giovanni either doesn’t really care about it or finds it quite cool. If Ghetsis actually has a prosthetic he’d probably commission a fancy gold-plated one for him or something like that lmao. Either way, he got them matching pairs of gloves at some point <3

Absolutely incredible how I went into both Camp Cretaceous and Chaos Theory fully ready to commit to a gay ship but both of them wound up giving me next to nothing in the first season.
#okay actually I think I was seeing Benji at the end of Season 1?#but I think Season 2 killed it at some point#it might not have died until Season 3?#maybe the fandom killed that one for me?#obviously I locked in on Yasammy but...I think it was Season 3 that killed Benji#then this time I was all ready for Benrius#and two episodes in I was like ''nope this Will Not Work''#their dynamic was INCREDIBLE don't get me wrong#I love those two!#but sometimes you just gotta go ''yeah no this isn't going to work in a shippy sense these two just don't Click''#obviously sometimes (looking at you Brooklynn and Kenji) the canon doesn't care#but...there's just no Pop and it's annoying#I do think there's a small thread of Benji weaving a little path through#largely because I think Ben ''Live In a Van'' and Kenji ''Live In a Trailer'' now match Wild Energy#but#eh#the only one is Yaz and Sammy right now#even Dinostar is on the ropes with me because well Brooklynn's dead#but also more importantly Darius admits she wasn't into him#which is neat because even though they lived together for a bit#NOTHING HAPPENED#and I don't think he was missing clues or anything I think he really picked up on it#and then they fell apart#jwct shipping nonsense

Religiously i think about one of my twitter mutuals pointing out how aoki's design is subtly asymmetrical while ichiban is more symmetrical
when i think of it, masato's design is fairly symmetrical as well isnt it.....
#snap chats#please no one look at me i shouldve gotten my drink two hours ago#what does it mean .....#i swear my mutual had like. galaxy brain when it came to aoki i swear to god in heaven no one got him like they did#they were also the one that did that glass analysis post i shared some months back#moving on tho...#i guess there is the stipulation that because masato's shirt buttons dont match his shirt like ichi's does the buttons at the top mess it u#but aside from that everything else is pretty even: he has a pair of bangs and while his shirt is patterned its not like. grossly so#the pattern doesnt go particularly one way or the other its obviously just a pattern and the colors arent offensively against each other#on the flipside aoki's hair is more obviously swept to one side and leaving the other side bare#not to mention his tie in general. the 'bulb' part and 'tongue' part even go against each other#as if a diagonal striped tie itself wouldnt be askew to his overall look#again these are very small things to notice but im glad theyre small- it makes sense for a politician's to be subtly incongruent#the glasses are super important to aoki's design too but that's covered int eh glass analysis and isnt about symmetry#idk ... maybe im just waffling on about nothing.. either way i love those posts by my mutual#OH i think of this because i am once again thinking of updating how i draw masato#cause i like the blazer and necklace i gave him BECAUSE of that asymmetry#but now i wonder if thatd go against his design ... so i have to ask 'what underlying message is there for masato to be symmetrical'#i guess- even if he is a creep and a weirdo- he's not. evil? idk ... he hasn't gone totally off the deep end compared to aoki#like compared to what he'd go on to do as aoki he's pretty normal as masato#he is just a guy. who DOES have ties to the yakuza but this aint about that LKCJALKREJVA#he doesnt even like them he just uses them for his convenience 😔#idk. ill prob still draw masato the same tbh LMAO if anything ill just crop his blazer but keep it symmetrical#i guess i cant wonder this TOO much when i give him mismatching rings 💀💀 ill just have fun ig fjaelrvekljv#at the end of the day its never that serious ...... i just gotta draw what makes me chortle. esp for a chara three people care about VJLAEK#but i will wonder ..... <- it is not that deep#ima go bye
