It's just a silly three-paneler, but it's also a fun way to test out my comic style. I learned a lot about how I'll plan and lay things out from this! I also had a lot of fun rendering everything.

The view really is urethral from up there. It gets really windy though.

This small area is part of the Neo-Manumission's greenhouse. It is located at the western side of the base, where you can get a great view of the mountains, the magnetic field generators that create the first line of Manumission shields (and a surplus of energy!) , and the valleys surrounding the area.

not entirely up to date on lore, who’s mister dry and ugly from the vampire comic?

That, my dear sweet anon, is Cain Malvado Cromwell.

Cain is a vampiric variant who feeds off of suffering. Needing to find a consistent supply of negative energy, he rose the ranks in Variant processing units and became quite accredited in his field! There's no end to the names he is called, nor the cruelties he's indiscriminately committed. (And greenlit!)

He's the main antagonist to Vincent, and now works as the project head at VENUS inc, promising only substantial improvement and better results in the physical and mental output of his subjects by any means necessary.

Maybe less so on the "mental" part...

As for his dry and dusty, crusty mustiness, it's a result of an attack from one of his longest victims- his son. A near fatal explosion was set off on Cain's vehicle. It's a tragedy he survived.

Vincent avoids thinking much about him. It leads to some funky nightmares.

Of course, he isn't the only person responsible for what Vincent became... He had lots of help and funding for that. Talk about evil with a cause and the means to supply it.
