As someone who's played a few campaigns of DnD before but never DM'ed, how do I go about it?

I recently purchased (ik kill me for not just pirating it HEHE) Curse of Strahd because I really want to play it with my friends but none of us know how to DM.

I know there's no one way to DM a campaign, but does anyone have any tips on how to run a Curse of Strahd campaign? I'm nervous about being a bad DM, lol

It's not the cool monsters or vibrant worlds.

It's not the poignant storytelling and heart wrenching character dynamics.

It's hiding stuff from your players and being able to send a vague and threatening text to a group chat and watching them all freak out
