Is it okay to wear pins on my Sunflower Lanyard for conditions I’m not yet diagnosed with, specifically autism and/or ADHD? I want to add pins on it to make it feel a little less “clinical” while still having some that provide information about my struggles. If wearing pins for stuff I’m not yet diagnosed isn’t okay, I’ll instead wear a pin saying I have anxiety since I have that too.
(Sunflower Lanyard is to signify the wearer has hidden disabilities)

Sometimes being non-binary, young, having dyed hair, tattoos, piercings and looking able bodied is a curse when having to sit in the accesible seating areas.
Today I was blessed with sitting next to a group of four lovely older people who were happy to talk and didn’t judge, question or stare at me. I was wearing my sunflower lanyard, had my assistance plushie in my lap, noise cancelling headphones but they still talked to me like I was a normal adult.
It’s not often this happens and it makes me quite sad that I am so overwhelmed with happiness over something that people often take for granted. This is something all people of all races, sexualities, genders, abilities etc. should be experiencing every day. This shouldn’t be something that is a rare thing for me (and all others like me) to experience.
Thank you for being so kind. You prove not all older people are uneducated, ignorant, rude or just straight up cunts.

Caveria for tax

any other invisibly disabled people really struggle to use the disabled bathrooms 😭
if there is a queue i quite genuinely need to use it, but when other people leave the queue for the regular ones to use the disabled i have no idea if they are also invisibly disabled so i never like, interrupt and say i need it yk djshjd
i do wear my sunflower lanyard but random people in bathroom queues rarely know what that means
just pls if ur able bodied i understand it may be annoying to wait in the queue but if you dont need the disabled bathroom pls dont use it
idk its just a hard situation to navigate for me fnkdn

Happy disability pride month!
🖤💚🩵🤍💛❤️🖤
Disability Pride Month is an event in July that celebrates diversity, raises awareness of different disabilities and encourages positive conversations around disability.
“disabled people remain one of the most marginalised communities in Irish society, experiencing higher levels of poverty, unemployment, and social exclusion due to societal barriers.” - Maryam Madani, activist and chairperson of Disability Power Ireland 🇮🇪
Some information on the hidden disabilities sunflower lanyard, JAM cards, As I Am autism ID cards and Irish sign language finger spelling:

Saki Tenma Redesign Edits
soft requested by @necromanticzz after we asked for redesign suggestions, who only specified giving her more peachy coloured hair to match tsukasa lol. hope its alright to tag you.
these ended up pretty simple, but we love saki so lmao. we changed her colouring a bit, and added a couple details, like freckles, different colour eyelashes and a sunflower lanyard! (also the difference between her regular skintone and her changed one is so drastic, we thought we'd accidently added a lightening layer somewhere. she's white white lmao.)
feel free to use with credit as long as you aren't on our dni, but don't claim as your own! like/reblog if you save or enjoy!

First time seeing sunflowers in this game. What a lovely surprise.
I love sunflowers!
And they are also the symbol of hidden disabilities of which I have a few. I am AuDHD and I have a sleep disorder called hypersomnia aswell as fibromyalgia. What about you?

Happy Disability Pride Month to all my Disabled followers.
Image Description:
Kasumi is a 1999 baby furby with a large yellow tuft of hair on her head. Her fur is light pink except for a white square on her belly. Her tail is a big tuft of yellow hair on her lower back. Her feet are white and she has 3 toes on each foot. Her face plate and eyelids lids are both white and her beak is an orangish yellow colour. Her eyes are light blue. She has pink ears. Kasumi is wearing a pikachu onesie. The onsie has yellow ears with black tips at the end of them. There are large black eyes on the onesie. The onesie is mostly yellow and has a small black dot for a nose and a small smiling black mouth. There is a hole that reveals Kasumis face. On each side of the hole there are large red circles that resemble cheeks. At the back of the onesie there is a large yellow tail that is shaped like a lightning bolt. There are two brown stripes on the back of the onesie. Kasumi is also wearing a dark green lanyard with sunflowers on it. The lanyard has a white tag on it with a rainbow infinity symbol. Spud is a grey furby buddy with brown eyes. He has light orange coloured feet and his belly is a lighter shade of grey. The inside of his ears are pink. Spud is sitting in a wheelchair with a blue frame. The wheel chair has a black seat and black tires. Kasumi is standing on a small green platform with pink and white flowers infront of her. Spud is sitting on a brown ramp in his wheelchair. There is a caption to this photo that says "Happy Disability Pride Month." End Description.

I dont know if its strange or not but i find a small amount of serotonin in seeing strangers with sunflower lanyards or wristbands on public transport like i do.
Its a small thing, but just the small moment of 'i see you' is alot to me.
