Ohhh in addition to the "Adaines eyesight going from bad to worse from being the oracle", I always enjoyed the idea that the more she sees into the future the less she can actually see, ergo gradually going blind and the 'future sight' being the only way for her to see

I don't know, it's just macabre and ironic that the one who sees more than everyone else (-> the future) loses the ability to see the present

adaine blinking as she wakes up but she can't see her bedroom, instead she sees the future, death, sacrifice, destruction, triumph, joy, and rather than fading she after a few moments, it is all she can see. the futures fade into different visions, like constantly-shifting images. when people speak, she sees their futures.

aelwyn greets her in the morning and adaine only sees her sister when leviathan is raided, when aelwyn and ayda uncover locked rooms in the back of the library installed by one of ayda's past selves, when she and aelwyn hunt their mother down in sylvaire, when they watch their friends die and cry together, a thousand ways aelwyn might die--

adaine cries out in horror and covers her eyes as though she is seeing anything at all, but the visions sprawl out in her head, endless and horrible.

eventually, she begins to parse through them, begins to figure out how to control them. she can see what people might do seconds before they do it, can see all the different paths the world might take under her feet. but she will never see it in the present again

this is an ijiraq reskin!!!! or well. they were supposed to be one. their out-of-battle behaviors are pretty different but they work mostly the same in battles

the repulsive sigil is there because the ijiraq has it! but it also counts towards loop’s. general attitude towards themself i think. at least they can’t get attacked (if they don’t attack something with sharp quills that is). in kaycee’s mod, this sigil only appears on the ijiraq and starvation (which can only be played by leshy). probably for the best!

i added bifurcated strike both to set them apart from the ijiraq and because scissors craft! stats and sigils wise, they’re a sidegrade to the ijiraq. the fun stuff comes with their hidden trait!

so! shapeshifter!! originally just called. ijiraq. but it works a little different so it gets a different name shshhh. but i’ll just explain how the regular ijiraq works since it’s a kaycee’s mod card and kinda obscure. basically, it diguises itself as other cards in your deck! while on the map, it’ll show the card’s alt version with a red glow, but in battle, it’ll look and behave exactly like the card it’s mimicking. it only reveals itself once placed on the field! so it’s always a surprise! loop works similarly, but they only mimic sif’s card. because twohats :3

like the ijiraq, loop will swap themself with sif for most card events! though there’s a good few that they’ll just refuse to do. too much to talk about there, maybe i’ll post the talking card dialogue for them at some point? idk

oh, speaking of which!! like sif, loop is a talking card! they’ll still talk, even while disguised, but they’d have slightly different lines and portraits methinks. which does make it a little easier to figure out who’s who but that’s a sacrifice (heh) i’m willing to make. plus it’s just fun.

vulpecula is the name of a fox constellation! for fun parallels with siffrin! the constellation itself doesn’t have any mythology behind it though. just a fox. the reason loop’s holding a goose in their mouth(…?) is because the constellation is sometimes depicted with one! please look at the goose i’m really proud of that goose.

this was. probably the hardest card to draw Period. my usual way of drawing loops spiky face would’ve felt out of place with the inscryption style so i had to improvise! and BOY it was a struggle!! especially since i didn’t have a sketch prepared like i did with the others. i think this turned out pretty nice though!

NO PATCH!!!! REJOICE!!! loop can’t be selected for sigil transfers (because ijiraq) so they don’t have any!!!! i mean, i could’ve hypothetically given a patch to the sif disguise but no. i don’t want to even try to recolor the patch. that would be a nightmare. maybe if i ever find a blank png version of the patch.

if i were to give them a patch sigil tho, i think i’d give them hoarder? which lets you draw any card from your deck after placing loop on the field. as like, a nod to how much QoL they add in isat.

also as a little aside, you can attempt to fuse them and the wanderer at the mycologists. they won’t let you but you can try. similarly, they’ll be counted as kin in the trial of kin! because again. twohats

maybe it's easy 4 me 2 say as a hobbiest but i feeeeeeeeeeeel like sometimes people [probably moreso on the internet] be stressing a lil too much about art style or w/e... like i def think there's merit to studying art and different types and curating what u like n all that jazz but sometimes methinks there are discussions that have lost the plot a lil 🤔 like ppl saying their art style is "inconsistent" first of all what do u mean. are u trying to do one thing forever? i find that some of my fave artists are the ones that can do a range - like maybe i love their funny cartoon style comics but then they post a really pretty shaded detailed bust sketch thats def a different style but shows they understand a lot of the fundamentals and artistic range. second i feel like a lot of ppl say that bc theyre like over analyzing their art lol like so many times when i see ppl say that under a pic of their art im looking at it like "i mean it looks like the same vibe all their other stuff has. it looks like exactly the same style to me. i literally dont know what ur talkin about 🤔" and i think thats cuz we are our own worst critic lol. or like when people say they dont have an art style. ??? like saying you dont have a handwriting style or like an accent <- i saw someone else make one of those comparisons somewhere in a post but idr which or where lol. like sure u do it's just hard to see when it's ur own sometimes or like finding the words to describe is hard idk.

Red x Blue Oak (namelessshipping) from pkmn, they get married early at age 19 lol, they're 24 currently in my hcs and run/own the Battle Tree in Alola, they DID go on a honeymoon in Alola, but that was a couple years before they decided to move there and start the Battle Tree (I changed up the timeline in the sumo/usum games a bit lol)- both of them are gay and transmasc (both using he/him), Red took Blue's last name, his old last name was 'Shade' lmao (I have SOOOOOOOOOO many hcs for them but I'll save those for other days) (I have more hcs for all of these ships tbh but like yeah, saving my typing for now, mostly) audghshsh okay fine some more, they love cuddling, Red usually shows affection through actions (he's selectively mute in my hcs) and Blue loves it- Red is actually just slightly more clingy than Blue, tho, even tho they tease each other and Blue acts snarky and Red quietly confident during the day, at home they're affectionate and love to cuddle at the end of the night in each other's armssssss AUGHHDHDHHSHSHSHSHSH sorry the idea of them cuddling has comforted me SOOOOO much, haha it's a bit funny but it really does, they're my top ship ever (tho I support other ***SAFE*** ships) and yeah, ahdghdhdhs

Makoto Niijima x Haru Okumura (MakoHaru) from persona 5/persona 5 royal- Makoto is transfem (using she/her), and is bi and demisexual, Haru is a demigirl (using she/they), and a lesbian- they get together after the events of specifically third semester in p5 royal happen, Haru asks Makoto out on a date lol, Makoto is shocked cause she was growing feelings for Haru and was worried she wouldn't give her a chance, but yeah, they start dating- they combine their last names methinks, also Sae approves of Haru right away LMAO, since Makoto (when home for university holidays) brings Haru over all the time

The 9th/10th doctor x Rose Tyler (ninerose/tenrose) from modern doctor who- ohhhhhdggdhs my god, they make me soooo happy, yes I know it's a bit cliche to like the first (modern) companion from Dr who with the doc but like??? Their story is soooo tragic- and we don't leave out the ninth doc in this place, he is so silly and funny and it's great to see his development as Rose shows him how to be a bit happier again, and then regenerating into a younger looking person for her- yes I don't mind other doctor ships I just have a huge soft spot for Rose w the doc- I like to think the Doc (any regeneration) uses no labels lol, he uses any pronouns "what ya think, today!" and Rose is soooo pansexual (cis and uses she/her, btw)- I also give the Doc (any regen) different looking eyes and teeth (fangs hehehe) to make her look diff from humans a lil bit, secretly

And lastly, Yu Narukami x Yosuke Hanamura (SouYo) from persona 4/persona 4 golden- just finished p4 golden like last week and I immediately got attached/hyperfixated (I have adhd lol) on these two- most recent comfort ship of mine for sure, even tho I enjoy other ships ofc! I just tend to get favourites from games/shows/etc. Anyways Yu is transmasc (he/him), and Yosuke is cis (he/him), both are gay lol- Yosuke definitely must have some typa internalized homophobia- that or I think he projected his worried feelings onto Kanji (don't worry, he very much apologizes to Kanji eventually)- idk how Yu and Yosuke got together yet tbh, maybe after the golden and arena ultimax (I just started playing it) events? I also hc that uh, Yu's parents passed away somehow (idk how yet for sure) and he moved back to Inaba for senior year permanently, and like yeah, sometime within there is when him and Yosuke get together- either I wanna make it sweet or angsty before they get together lol, dunno yet but yeah, gay ppl

Im still not sure about the predstrogen thing, I've seen many people say there wasnt nsfw selfies on their blog (I have no idea whats true) and they were banned for a set of selfies that were (as ive seen them passed around) obviously just innocent, regular pics, specifically showing their transition before and after. I think staff was unreasonable to go scorched earth on this one person, especially considering it went all the way up to the CEO for fairly benign behavior - their "threat" was basically saying "ugh i hope staff dies in a looney tunes explosion" out of frustration, which isnt a credible threat to me, just blowing smoke. Ppl have been saying theres a conspiracy to mass report transwomen's blogs which i cant tell what is true, they seem to be getting flagged for nsfw content, but that means someone is intentionally reporting their blog - the culprit is "TERFs" of course... I havent seen radfems waste much time with reporting TIM blogs just for coexisting on tumblr, usually ive seen radfem tumblr try and do a reporting campaign for someone sending death threats to radfems, that kind of misconduct you know....but someone must have flagged their blog in the first place somehow. a mysterious and convaluted situation methinks

yeah obv there's a difference between what he said and like, posting a detailed plan about how to make that happen, but bottom line is that it still passed the threshold of a threat and he's not the one responsible for keeping the rules on this site

and about harassment campaigns - yeah i've never seen anything close to a "terf" mass report campaign, but i have seen users get targeted by mass reporting for really dumb reasons, i get worse anons than the threat that kicked this off almost every day, and i've seen the radfem tags clogged by coordinated campaigns to make it so they'll never be functional, so i think that's a bit of hit dogs hollering. if your only answer to anything is mass report campaigns, then you'll tell yourself that's what's happening to you when something bad happens. so yeah like you said it's very conspiracy theory

interesting tho when you factor in what he dropped about the "transphobic" mod - we've kept hearing about the secret terf on staff for forever with little to no evidence, and then he just casually drops that yeah they had to fire someone on their mod team for being transphobic. no detail so it's not really much to go off of, and it's not like that really shielded anyone from bizarro mod practices, and i've still never been able to find evidence of the secret terf on staff beyond "someone on the mod team liked a post about hufflepuff traits" but i'm sure they're gonna take that admission and run with it

first of all this ask i got a bit ago about p4au/post canon chidori is basically how ive begun to view her in my head so big shout out to this anon. we miss u & ur chidori brain

another thing i mentioned in this same ask, and an idea i’ve generally fallen in love w, is chidori growing on everyone & becoming their friend whether she likes it or not 😭 since we barely see chidori after she survives, & barely see her outside the context of the plot and conflict, it’s hard to get an accurate grasp on how she would act in a situation where she’s allowed to be like. i think she would be withdrawn and not much of a talker, somewhat irritable, but having the freedom and space to do what she wants i think would make her softer. + junpei trying his hardest to be the best bf in the world for her would ease her nerves and anxieties bc he’s so silly she cant even be mad. gets her flowers every week (picturing junpei looking up the meaning of certain flowers so he can pick out good ones for her) (i think yukari would also be there helping him out, fuuka also probably)

speaking of yukari & fuuka, to elaborate more on when i brought up everyone else beginning to like chidori, i think yukari & fuuka would probably be the first ones to attempt to get to know her. again, kicking junpei out of his own apt so they can hang out with his girlfriend… it’s too perfect. i mentioned that i think yukari would love chidoris style because it’s so different, and i still stand by that. meanwhile fuuka would prob be more interested in her art, but either way, they would show an interest in her & i think chidori would eventually let her guard down enough to become friends w them. tho, i still think yukari would probably do most of the talking, fuuka weighing in a lot, and then chidori says like 3 words per hangout 😭 they love her

i think everyone else would def treat her with respect bc she’s junpei’s girlfriend, & she’d be a little confused at first at how nice they are to her. i can actually imagine her and aigis chilling bc i feel like both of them can (chidori would get to this point imo) appreciate more of the beauty in life and the world & whatnot, so they don’t really even need to talk. just sit and bask in the world

methinks hakuno's growth in canon rlly does sound like a failgirl to girlboss development tbh....... hakuno goes from the weakest and most incompetent master to the last one standing and the frikkin Winner of the lunar holy grail war (which she ends!!!! what a queen truly 👏). she also dies at da end, which is where i like to yoink her from canon, but it's interesting to think abt what could happen after that! though i will say- canon disappoints me in this aspect 🥹 anything post-extra is just... Not Good hakuno material 4 me imo

i think it'd be rlly interesting for her character tho!! specifically in how that changes how people would perceive/treat her. hakuno's used to being mistreated/looked down on, so to suddenly be someone admired/respected would be so confusing to her... especially because in her eyes, she sees nothing in her to warrant that. hakuno has a horrible case of impostor syndrome, you see. she sees nothing good in herself and considers herself nothing !

if we're talking about it in canon terms, she pretty much went from a nobody to the "sovereign of the moon", which is very cool! but not what hakuno wants. hakuno doesn't care about status or power over others; she's always been more interested in understanding and relating to others, making bonds and interpersonal relationships. that's a very funadmental and interesting part of her character imo!! and i think it would be Neat for hakuno, who just wants an equal relationship with someone, to be unable to have that! 🙂

i feel like a title like that, or just putting her on any sort of pedestal, would be no different to her from being a nobody who everyone looked down on. that sense of distance is still there and methinks hakuno would still feel as lonely as ever :,) whiiich i think would really frustrate her! hakuno always blames herself when things go wrong, so i think it'd just add on to her feeling like there's something wrong with her because she's still feeling so empty </3

Ohhh yknow what. Throwing a (found) family get together bday party for Frank would be so good too but it'd also be so awful and ridiculous. And of COURSE I'd invite his besties but also his Worsties (the defenders) and perhaps maybe he'd end up having a fist fight with his blind rival at his own birthday party. But that's ok! It happens! Noo but it'd be a fairly nice event overall methinks and despite what he might say I know Frank would be thankful to have so many people give enough of a shit abt him to happily spend a day hanging out with him and appreciating him being alive (despite everything)

Anyways my f/os are all VERY different and honestly i.could very meticulously ramble abt what I would do for their bdays but all that's insane behavior. And also I'm so shys. And also I think most of them would value the effort and time put in rather than monetary value or dramatics but also maybe a little dramatics is appreciated to show just how much they're really cared for. obviously we see the parallels between tyler & vessel. i think they're opposite sides of the same coin. vessel gave in willingly to his adversary (sleep) and tyler was captured by his (blurryface). while vessel remains under sleep's power, tyler is constantly trying to run away. they both made music used to garner support for their adversary, yet vessel did it willingly and tyler did not. as you said, vessel yearns to sleep because that's when he's at peace, but tyler hates to sleep because that's when the bad things happen. and there's so many more but let me get to my thøught:

(come to looney town with me and imagine that sleep and blurryface are the same. sleep is the deity connected to vialism.)

clancy and vessel are two sides of the same coin. they followed the same path into dema, yet vessel gave up. never tried to escape. he allowed himself to be overtaken by the bishops. he committed to the religion, dreaming of his neon gravestone. he spreads the message they give him (he wears black body paint. come on. smearing). clancy doesn't let himself follow that same path, so he runs. vessel only fights back when he hears of clancy's triumph.

Okay but this makes so much sense? Because in Vialism, in order to reach the status of glory and ascend to so-called Paradise, you must die and become a vessel (!!!!) to the bishops, who control your body through those antlers (!!!!!!!!!!!). VESSEL IS LITERALLY A VESSEL TO THE BISHOPS. HE IS DEAD AND IN "PARADISE".

The night comes down like heaven

Of course it does! That's what Sleep aka The Bishops want you to believe you silly boy 😭 Of course the night does not belong to God, it belongs to them. That's why Clancy can't fall asleep/dream - he must stay awake so the dark doesn't take over him (ODE TO SLEEP AAAAA).

What if Vessel was also trying to escape in that car with Clancy, before he surrendered aka Ascended?? What if Clancy made it out to Voldsøy alone, but Vessel was seized by Nico and therefore never met the Banditos? That's why he never references yellow. It's always red and blue.

Maybe the gold in Chokehold and Aqua Regia is him still holding on hope that the Banditos exist, that the myths are true. But he never made it out of the car with Clancy, so of course he wouldn't have known.

But in that case, just like Clancy is special and isn't affected by the powers, maybe Vessel also has a resistance? He surrenders to Vialism, to Sleep/Blurryface, gives up his name and identity in order to reach glory and fame and spread His word (omg how is this fitting so perfectly lmao), but a part of him is still aware of it all. He isn't really dead - he is asleep.

OH OKAY WAIT. SO! We know Keon is the most compassionate Bishop right? What if Sleep isn't specifically Nico/Blurryface, but a combination of the Nine? Or possibly the force behind them?

What if Keon was the one who had Vessel under control (possibly representing the romantic/affectionate nature of Vessel and Sleep's relationship), and since Clancy stabbed him, he severed that tie and allowed Vessel to regain some control of himself? Which leads us to Take Me Back To Eden aka Vessel fighting back. Maybe Euclid is what happens after Clancy reaches Nico's tower and have that final confrontation?

I don't think we know how Clancy initially reached Dema, but I'm assuming it has to do with his past - Dema offered an alternative/solution to all the pain he felt *if* he followed their twisted propaganda.

It took a while for Clancy to see what was wrong and gather up the courage to leave, so I'll assume it's the same for Vessel. They tried to escape but Clancy met the Banditos and the rebellion, which offered him a real alternative - hope. Vessel never did so of course he succumbed to Sleep/ the Bishop's brainwashing and accepted the deal - just like you said, he did it all willingly, while Clancy/Tyler didn't.

Also - Clancy was never alone since he had the support of the Banditos, of the Torchbearer, and of Ned. Vessel had to fight all by himself 🥲. Boy's got no friends 😔 (they are as brainwashed as he is).

AND THAT'S WHY!!! That's why TMBTE ends with Euclid, a song about hope and breaking the cycle - renewal - while still mourning for the life he lead up until now in Dema/ under Sleep's influence, while Paladin Strait is all about sacrifice, about the last effort to finally reach some peace.

I have a feeling the Paladin Strait mv will end with him dying - maybe his death will bring forth the liberation of the citizens of Dema and by consequence, of Vessel.

Also! Things I find interesting but can't really fit here but please latch on them (mostly typing this so I don't forget):

Trench has a lot of snow and trees, which could fit into the "diamonds in the trees / ancient canopies" imagery. Vessel spent more time there under Sleep/Blurryface's influence

The beach!! The water!! Both of them make a lot of references to water and That Beach aka sacred shores aka where Clancy and Torchbearer emerge from aka the only way out of Trench

CHLORINE IS A NEUTRAL CHEMICAL. NOT ACID NOR ALKALINE. The one used in pools (aka Ned's pool in Chlorine) is slightly alkaline according to Google. Coincidence???? I think not.

Also in Chlorine - Tyler makes a reference to the taste of lead. Hmmmmmm there's a connection there with Granite kinda? I'm reaching BUT!!

"And I'm done dancing to alarm bells" maybe it's a reference to him being done with SAI's propaganda/distraction?

The burning car / car crash references from both.

"I'm a waking hell and the gods grow tired" -> Vessel never fully ascended as the Bishops intended which causes a lot of friction between them
