So I just finished stag dance and holy shit does it not shy away from the ugly parts of the transgender experience. Absolute gut punch, I imagine double so if you’re a trans woman because that is the perspective all of these stories are written from. Never have I seen a book about the trans experience that doesnt explain itself to cisgenders, you either get it or you don’t. So bleak. So uncomfortable. So gross. 4/5 stars

Very slowly getting into perfumes give me your top 5 favorites

k so some of these arent fragrances i own or wear myself either because of price or because theyre rlly feminine fragrances but coffee break by maison margiela notes: Coffee, vanilla, lavender. Really lovely creamy coffee scent that isnt so realistic you just smell like a bag of coffee beans all day. One of my faves to wear its so cozy to me Jazz club by maison margiela Notes: tobacco, rum, vanilla Usually i hate hate HATE perfumes like this but dude this one is different...so good. smells like a sexy, muscular man who smokes cigars and no shirt on and brother i am a baby starved for milk. Defo a purchase im gonna make come fall even tho im not manly enough to pull it off...i want to.

Soie Malaquies by dries van noten notes: rose, cocoa, chestnut, silk Super heavy rose scent that is soooo delicious. creamy and warm, its weird but it genuinely smells "silky". Not one im ever going to buy cuz its 300$ and i wouldnt know where id wear a mega heavy feminine scent like this but she is a beauty ill admire from afar Golden Nectar by nest new york Notes: vanilla, musk, amber Super powdery vanilla-ish perfume, it smells like super fancy baby powder to me and i could drownnn in this perfume. Whenever my girlfriend asks what perfume to wear i'm usually handing her this.

Valentino Voce Viva Notes: Bergamot, Orange blossom, Tonka bean Back before we were dating i told my girlfriend id "marry someone wearing this perfume" and she bought it the next day because she had a massive crush on me. All i'm saying is we've been living together for almost 2 years now so.... Gris Charnel by BDK perfumes Notes: Black tea, Cardemom, sandlewood honorary mention 6th fave but the 200$ perfume in question on my bday list. A few years ago idk if i wouldve liked something so herbal but this smells like a delicious herbal tea and dries down smelling weirdly soapy on me but i loveee it. the scent Indigo by nest (also a huge fave) made me discover i love me a fig note in perfume, ive never had a fig. anyways i have a 10ml of this i got for cheap off of online marketplaces but it is going FAST.
