Summary:

Thirty years ago, Xornoth was possessed by Exor. After killing their parents and rising to the throne, they imprisoned their brother, unable to kill him without killing themself.

But now, they've finally figured out a way to dispose of him. Send him to an arranged marriage with their oldest enemy, the Ocean Empire, and let them deal with him however they see fit. With thousands of years of tension between the two kingdoms, it won't be long before they decide they don't want him around anymore.

Jimmy just wants peace for his people. And if marrying some recluse prince is the key to finally ending the feud between their empires, he'll do it. But his new fiance is far from what he was expecting, and slowly he begins to wonder if there is something more sinister going on within the walls of the isolated elven kingdom.

Splatoon au sausage!!! I was struck with the urge to draw today for the first time in forever and decided to go with him. he's on a team with the rest of the WRA, and plays a modified hydra spaltling that fWhip has worked on (it's barely tournament legal). I've also decided to put them all in a band together for the sake of splatoon vibes - he's the drummer.

Sausage was both Gem and fWhip's first real friend when they moved up to the surface, and helped Gem out a lot when it came to learning the language and culture. for work, he runs a small shoe shop in splatsville.

So I’m just do a run down of crack au

In this one xornoth and joey were never dating (/doing anything romantic) before xornoth got corrupted. I mean sure they knew of each other, well I mean Xornoth did crush a little but other then that nothing.

Then when XORNOTH comes into the server, shrub is like: “I’ll giving you 20 bucks if you flirt with the demon” (thinking that Joey may be in a little bit of peril for funnies)

So Joey does it of course. BUT LIKE AS A JOKE

And uhhhhh, this is how basically Xornoth falls for Joey. And um the aftermath is this basically-

Joey:”you know that little bet about me flirting with the demon thing?”

Shrub:”yeah why- oh wait are you hiding from it rn? Cuz like I would be worried too LOL”

Joey:”it worked.”

Shrub:”I’m sorry what do you mean that ‘it worked’? Does the demon have like a fat crush on you or something? I’m joking of course that could never actually happen, right?”

Joey:”…”

Shrub :”...”

Shrub :”-oh my god.”

*door crashes down*

Xornoth:”oh my love we shall bid this empire and all the others in flame as we rise together in passion-“

* Insert screaming *

Anyway, design process

I used VERY MINIMAL inspo from finnish n Nordic fisherman/general outfits for his outfits, mostly in the use of leather and burlap

For his human design I just wanted him to be dorky and kinda scrappy looking, clearly made or edited by his own hands. He has a knitted cod hat and a hand-woven dyed rope belt that doubles as a fish net, and ofc a bottle or two of slime tying it together

For his fish form. I based the cod head part on a mix of Cod (duh), dunkleosteus, tiger sharks, and minimally on lion fish. The tail is a combo of fins and a shark tail, along with boney scales and sharp spines. He's very tough and durable

Ofc he also grew arm fins and his feet became more creature-like. Crechur

I also imagine that, while not immune to damage, he's very resistant to it (and resistant to cold :))

Also this is HC-y stuff but I imagine that Jimmy, as a sea God, represents very different things than Lizzie. Lizzie represents more of the Idea of the ocean, it's vast power and danger, the storms it makes, etc

Whereas Jimmy represents the interconnectedness of sea life and the life cycles, I'd even argue he's lowk a land-god rather than specifically a sea God and I KNOW cod are salt water but. He's so freshwater coded srry abt it 😛 he is a being of change first and foremost

Even tho he's a being of change tho he dislikes industry as he believes it is inorganic and ruins natural effort and stuff. Same with magic, there is nothing a spell can do that your own hands can't do better. Also magic hurt Scott so he don like it 😔
