Jkjk but I am sad he isn't a big favorite in the Fandom 😔 he has a lot of potential okay 💔 and YAH this redesign is entirely headcanons but you can sue me for that alr. I know my rights

So first: his arms rotted off from the withering effect. Sausage/Gem weren't effected, bc sausage just blood letted out the infection for the blood sheep to heal and Gem is magic soooo yeah. He replaced them with mechanical arms powered by Redstone (Redstone triggers electrical signals to cause the crimson vines to contract like tendons/muscles)

Bc this happened he also affixed a permanent attachment of his elytra to his back, so he is one of the rulers w/ permanently on display wings (I mean unless he's sleeping but shhhh)

He is covered in Redstone powder and some empires citizens are afraid of him cus he looks like he's bloody all the time 😔 his red lined eyes don't help this either, or coughing/wheezing red smog clouds occasionally snrk

Also he is twins with Gem, his hair would also have a gradient if it was longer/washed more (he's gross) and his scarf is a gift from gem!!! It has Redstone stones on the end, kinda inspired by that one. Bloody pearl choker I'm like reminded of SNRK also adds to blood themes. I know sausage is the blood themer but shhhhhh hush hush. Ik some ppl hc he's a vampire, I don't vibe w/ that tho I like to think he's just a freak fr

lil reference sheet i cooked up of fwhip for the superhero au!!

in the day, he's a pyrotechnics student, at night, he's an illegal dragon-themed vigilante, and all the while, he's a menace that's way too into explosives--

he does have a superpower in the form of some mild fire protection but he mostly relies on his gadgets when it comes to combat! it does come in handy when he's tinkering though :D

i wanted to include these to give a bit better insight into the life of fwhip in this au but i didn't want it to look too long so i'm putting them here :D (villain!xornoth/lord thanatos's design is very not final so it might change when their own reference drops)

i plan to make one of these bad boys for each character in the au, however long that takes me, so look forward to that! all in all, i'm happy with how this first one turned out, i think the little boxes i did make it look appropriately cartoon-y :0

Headcanons: Fwhip and Gem are twins, Sausage is their younger brother. Pearl is their cousin. She grew up with them in their family house. As kids Sausage was jealous of the twins doing everything together (even when they didnt want to) so he claimed Pearl as his twin despite being older than him (she's like "the middle child") (TBA?)

Empires SMP Headcanons

(most of these are season 1, I'm not caught up on season 2 lore)

S1 Gem and fWhip were both born human. They each chose different paths to gain power regardless: Gem chose wizardry and fWhip chose to be an artificer/alchemist. Part of the reason he moved to the Grimlands from the Crystal Cliffs is because of the corruption there (not the Xornoth corruption). It fascinated him. Eventually, prolonged exposure to it changed him. Like how in cannon, the corruption gave him real dragon wings to replace his mechanical wings, but I think it also turned him into a vampire.

This one is pretty vague but I think the floating islands of Stratos might have something to do with the floating islands in The Overgrown or the ones Wizard Gem fled to.

IDK if this is cannon but the lines from where water level changed that you can see at the Pix's archaeological dig are from when the ocean drained.

Sheriff Jimmy, Princess Katherine, and Princess Gem were childhood friends (I stole this from a YouTube comment)

Apollo (Gem's s2 bear) is a reincarnation of her X Life bear, Blue. This would fit with the cannon fact that she brought the season 1 dragons over from a previous world she'd lived in.

In season 1, Scott felt particularly protective of Shrub because he felt guilty for her home being destroyed (even though he literally did not cause it and could not have stopped it, he's just like that). That's why he didn't get too mad when she stole the Xornoth crystal. The reason he gave her those boots in the first episode was because he could sense that she had been near his brother, even though he didn't know that was what was happening.

In season 2, Pix, Gem, and Joel always knew about Lizzie being a cat. Pix and Gem because they know none of this is real, and Joel because he's her husband so of course he'd know

Everyone stared at the scars on Count Fwhip’s body, the many scars across his chest and back now fully exposed by the way his shirt and jacket had become tattered in the explosion. He knelt near the center of the explosion site, still having attempted to defuse the device in order to allow others to escape.

Fwhip’s arms came up to try to block the view of his chest, but between his chest and back both being on display, there was nothing he could do to hide his body completely from sight.

He heard the sound of footsteps approaching him and he curled up even tighter, trying to hide from whoever was approaching.

He heard no words following the footsteps stopping in front of him, though he could tell that the figure had crouched down and was doing something.

Fwhip felt cloth fall over his shoulders, covering his body from the gaze of onlookers.

When he glanced up, he was shocked to find Jimmy crouched in front of him. Upon further inspection, the Codfather had given Fwhip his cloak. That was not something to be done lightly. Not in Oceanic cultures. Especially not when done by the ruler of the Codlands.

A Selkie’s coat was their life. To give his to Fwhip, to hide the scars that were so clearly on display, that meant something. Fwhip didn’t know exactly what, but it was something.

Fwhip finally let himself cry, feeling the exposure, the vulnerability of his lack of clothing so keenly now that he was safe from view. Jimmy hid even that from onlookers, pulling Fwhip close and letting the other man hide his tears against Jimmy’s chest or neck.

“I’ve got you. You’re safe.”

Fwhip, against all odds, believed him.
