Cockytrice, the Peafowl Pokemon After building perhaps too much confidence, Cockytrice can now turn their piercing gaze to the world and use their wings to fly instead of hide. People and Pokemon alike are entranced by the eyespots on Cockytrice's tails, making them shake in awe as it once shook in fear.

Types: Psychic/Flying Ability: Competitive Hidden Ability: Magic Bounce

Now that you've boosted your Peacower's fighting spirit, it can raise its Special Attack in the face of adversity instead of of running away. In the wild, Cockytrice are very territorial, mobbing the player even as they try to run away. Move-wise, Cockytrice's main pick up is Glare, and plays around with a pre-evolution move: Peacower learns Reflect and Light Screen in the 20s, a little later than it would evolve, and Cockytrice does not learn these by level up at all. Unlike Spore Breloom, the opportunity does return once Cockytrice evolves again.

bonus shiny forms. i based it off this one really weird looking scan of evil popoi i see sometimes that blows up the saturation of the colors really weirdly so his outline looks super blue instead of the usual purple. i misremembered the eyes from that scan also looking green-ish, but i looked again after i drew this and that was wrong. oh well i think he looks cute with them

Abominaceon, the Market Research Pokemon The project began very simply, relatively speaking. Research the peculiarities of Eevee's evolutionary branches, and use it to genetically engineer the most universally beloved Pokemon possible. At first the goal was crystal clear, dragons are among the most popular Pokemon of all time, and Eevee's genome implied a natural draconic form should exist, but it was struggling to be expressed somehow. It took too long for the board, and they started pushing us elsewhere. If this project was to continue, and I did so want it to continue, we would need to branch out, provide data that this truly was the most lovable creature to ever walk this earth. And so, attached, you can see the hundreds upon hundreds of polls, meetings, and meta-analyses on preferences. It needed bat wings, a kaiju's prescence, but a friendly demeanor. It needed to be made of metal with the soft fluffiness of a Whimsicott, it needed the charm of a Joltik and the edge of an Absol. You would not believe how many kids want a Pokemon with cool shoes. One of these is just the word Pidgeot written thirty times, we never could figure out what to do with that one. We gave it extra arms to hug you with, a bell so it doesn't get lost. It can change to any color you like, breathe underwater, even photosynthesize so you can't forget to feed it. Somehow, we did it. I wish we didn't.

You stare at the bizarre Pokemon, strangely both deeply unsettled and deeply attached to it. It struggles to stand up on its hind legs, planting reinforced legs in rubber shoes onto the glass between you, the look in its eyes begging you to set it free.

You don't get the chance "Hey!" Sounds like someone finally realized you broke in here. "What are you doing in here!" You pull out your Derelich's Pokeball. There's only one way out of this one.

The Glo-Co Security guard sneers as he comes through the door and sees both your Pokeball and the polluted Eevee. He throws out a Pokeball of his own...

Imagine PMD2 Riolu Partner if Hero never came back after restoring Temporal Tower: If Arceus hadn't intervened and the Dark Future had disappeared.

Riolu would've returned to the guild, continued with their apprenticeship and that night on the beach, they try to accept that the dark future and hero are really gone. The dark... future?

If Hero and everyone else was from the future, then, they'll be born into this world eventually, right? It's not clear how far in the future the dark future was, but Riolu has to believe that it'll be within their lifetime.

So, Partner sets out, searching the globe for the last of the humans, and their family. Eventually, they stumble across a Duskull, young and innocent, but Riolu would recognise that aura anywhere, they couldn't forget it if they tried. Riolu shrinks away at first but slowly realises, this time, Dusknoir had the chance to be something completely different. So, after a short conversation, Riolu wishes Duskull well and continues on their journey.

Years later, Partner finds a young Treecko, living happily in the woods, surrounded by siblings and loving parents. This Treecko looks totally different from Grovyle, he doesn't have the scars, or that same hard gaze. No, this Treecko is laughing, and Partner tears up, knowing this is what always should have been. If only this Treecko knew how much the sunrise meant to him.

Partner continues, from town to town, across the continent Partner searches and... nothing. No hide nor hair of a human. So, Partner searches the globe again, and still nothing. Everyone says the same thing, humans are a myth, they've never lived in this world.

Heartbroken, Partner returns to Treasure Town, hoping to find some semblance of joy in what was once their dream. Time passes and Marill comes by the guild, saying they found someone lost, wandering through the woods. It's a Phantump. They seem confused, scared, unable to remember anything except a name.

Riolu knows it before they hear the name. This. This is Hero. Someway, somehow, Hero is here, right now. Partner hugs the Phantump and the ghost type flinches away, cautiously returning the hug after a moment.

Partner's heart aches and they offer to let Phantump stay with them at the guild and get this all figured out. Phantump agrees and Partner gets to relive their relationship all over again. Maybe this time they can be the one to give Hero strength.

I accidentally merged the lineart and colour while drawing this lmao. My only saving grace is that I was pretty much done colouring and shade with layers

Eelektross is such a weird favourite of mine considering I hate leeches and lamprey, yet I love him regardless. I think part of it is that it's a pokemon I figured out evolved with a thunderstone all on my own as a kid. As for why I had an Eelektrik in my party when I hated leeches and it wasn't the kind of pokemon I'd typically like? Idk, kept it in a party on a whim I guess. I don't understand young me's thought proceses.

(I do like Eelektross on its own but I also do also enjoy seeing all the content of him and Emmet too lol)
