just finished octopath 1- all main and side content completed, and everyone has all jobs fully unlocked :] final time was 101:17, but like 20 of those hours were spent grinding for the JP LOL
Final thoughts!
i definitely recommmend for any newcomers to the series to *start with 1* because starting with 2 made it a lot harder to go backwards to 1 without all the quality of life improvements
1 is definitely a bit harder in terms of actual skill required. I leveled a lot faster in 2 and nuked bosses a lot faster
I saw- i think it was satsuhart- mention that the 1 crew feels a lot more close through their travel banters than in 2- and i do agree with that.
I really love both games, this is a fantastic series and i think more people should try it :] its a whole lot of fun

i like the original version of this dialogue because she says she doesn't like klavier because he's "jarajara" (sfx for jangling/clinking) because of his chains and not "hirahira" (sfx for fluttering), an obvious reference to edgeworth's cravat but i like to think it refers to lana's scarf too
