So ummmm I actually had a fanfiction wip of Athrys hearing of Eramis‘ location and traveling to Sol, only to unfortunately arrive at the same time as the incident that causes Eramis to „always look scorn in the eye“ occurs and well… let’s just say Eramis‘ trauma grows a thousandfold

I do not think I have the strength to write it anymore and I don‘t think we all have the strength to read it with what’s going on in Revenant

I love how you're saying this like it's Athrys who's gonna be telling folks that Eramis found a magic Heal Riis stick from Sol, as if Eramis herself would not likely have to explain to Athrys that no, she's not crazy, yes, the Echo is made of all of their dead, yes, they're speaking to her, no, Sol was not worth it, it's an absolute hellhole the likes of which you'd never understand, etc etc, while Athrys just stands there and boggles in amazement

All the Eliksni who had actually been to Sol would of course be able to affirm the fact that no, Eramis isn't crazy, Sol is Just Like That, but Athrys, who turned back when they reached Sol, is an outlier and probably wouldn't understand right away. Anyone who might have turned back after a couple centuries in it would probs just nod along and be like 'yeah that tracks Sol is fuckin crazy' tho

Here's another possibility of another cannon fact that you guys may or may not know about eramis...

How I found it was when I was digging around on Google last night out of curiosity while I was revisting the tumblr posts about athrys (I was even listening to her lullaby last night (which means i had another wierd night)) on who eidos biological mother could be.

What I've found out last was well ummm...

This is the reddit post that supports this theory on eramis being edios biological mother.

This is the YouTube video about queen Mara confirming that eramis may be in fact be eidos biological mother. Idk y why the won't show up in my post.

My absolute crack-fiend headcannon for the upcoming events in Destiny 2 is as follows:

Eramis will become our ally, but not from an obvious source, instead by the return of Lady Efrideet, who allied with Athrys and the Eliksni, whom Eramis sent away before her time with the darkness in Beyond Light.

I can see Efrideet's peaceful group having common grounds with Athrys, who was described as more gentle and nurturing. Along with the assumption that both groups were hiding in refuge beyond the solar system or on the edges of it.

What's the origin of your blog's title?

I've been running around with "wobbbiy" as my username for multiple platforms. Originally started as my Xbox gamertag. I wanted "wobbly" but that was taken so now it's wobbbiy. It typically gets mistaken for wobbly so that's chill.

Thought it was a cute name. Also, thought it would be endlessly funny to have someone rage in PVP if they ever got killed by someone who is "wobbly". c: This lives free in my head whenever I PVP which is often. Also, if I do bad, it's fine, I'm just a little wobbly, that's all. <3

Ahh. Destiny 2 right now. I tend to find really niche little pockets within fandoms, and I don't know why I'm like that. So, Eliksni specifically and the Hidden Agents are my interests.

Some broader fandoms I'm a part of: Apex Legends (specifically JUST Bloodhound), Dark Souls/Elden Ring/Soulslike games, Red Dead Redemption 2, LotR/Hobbit...Yea.

ahhh i was hoping nobody would ask me this one bc i don't really have an answer 😅 i haven't been exposed to a ton of headcanons but the ones i have, i generally liked them from the start

16. a tiny detail in canon that you want more people to appreciate

One of Variks's idle lines is him singing a few lines of the lullaby from the Athrys's Embrace lore tab, which absolutely had me making a sound like an asthamtic tea kettle when I heard it the first time.

I've seen a few messages to this effect and while it's well meaning and likely correct, it misses the point I'm trying to make.

There were backgrounds for: Bi Mara Sov, Lesbian Eramis, Pan Drifter, Gay Saint-14, and Nonbinary Nimbus.

Drifter is canonically (as in, within the story of the game itself) flirtatious with people of multiple genders. While this doesn't necessarily mean a person is bi or pan, it's a narrative context clue that he is, in fact, one of those.

Likewise Nimbus. They/them pronouns and androgynous appearance/presentation doesn't necessarily mean a person is nonbinary IRL ... but within a story it's kind of a big clue that this character isn't on the gender binary.

Saint-14 is an interesting case in that he's only ever demonstrated romantic interest in a man (Osiris) canonically, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's gay and not a different flavor of MLM; however I've never seen bi or pan headcanons for him, or talk of him being anything other than gay. Still, this post was confirmation that he's exclusively into men.

Mara falls much into the same case as Saint: she's only ever shown romantic interest in a woman: Sjur Eido. The "Helmet Stayed On" lore muddied the water and set off a debate about whether she's lesbian or bi/pan, but was canonically clarified to be non-sexual and non-romantic later on, convincing a lot of folks (myself included) that she's lesbian. Of course, plenty of real life bi folks only ever date people of the same or other genders for lots of different reasons, but in a fictional narrative exclusive interest in the same gender kinda points in the direction of gay/lesbian. Except she isn't. By word of god (note I don't say canon because it isn't confirmed within the text of Destiny) Mara Sov is bi.

And ditto Eramis. Only interested in a woman, Athrys. If we only look at the text of Destiny, does that exclude her being bi...? Well, no. But word of god confirms that she is in fact lesbian.

I don't think there's a lesbophobic / biphobic conspiracy at Bungie because of this, but I am trying to point out the fragility of what constitutes a major character lore drop occurring via social media post, because all it takes is a misplaced file or deleted blog entry to remove that piece of lore from the story. This wouldn't be a discussion if Eramis' lesbianism or Mara Sov's bisexuality was in the canon of the work through context clues the same way that, for example, Drifter's pansexuality or Nimbus' nonbinary gender identity is.
