Big Shout Out to @divinehealthnutrition I have been Testing out their Hydrolyzed Collagen and I really enjoy it! It is sourced from Chicken and Marine Collagen which makes it different from most Bovine Collagen. Some science says it's more bio available. Great recovery post/re-post! ・・・ Recovery Days and Training for Life 👇 No, we didn't pick up any heavy weights or do any explosive jumps. I received a great chiropractic adjustment from Dr Kyle Wallner. Yet, days like today are just as important if not more important at times to long term gains. ✋️ I've been lifting weights seriously for close to 20 years now (yes, since I was 11 and yes, I should be way stronger, lol). That said, if you're not taking your recovery seriously, you're going to burn yourself out. 🤓 Smart programming to ensure you're pushing yourself to be your best yet not exceeding your ability to recover over the long haul is a big key. Bigger keys include and are not limited to: ✅sleep quality and quantity ✅tissue health (massages, ART, foam rolling, etc) ✅spinal / structural well being (Chiropractic care) @michiganfamilywellness and @rjburrdc of @reachrehabchiro are guys I keep in my back pocket. ✅Nutrition. Eating good quality food, and enough of it. If you're doing that and only if you're doing that, supplementation can help. We use @onnit and @designsforhealth high grade supps here at the @inflowacademy and also highly recommend our friends at @xnsupps for your supplement needs. ✅Social life: training is great and you'll meet some really awesome people in the strength sports, but you need to have a life outside of it as well. Today's egg scramble. I always eat pretty much the same breakfast. Such is life with chickens. Been taking my new supplements for just under a week. I think I am starting to notice a shift in my energy. Good effing riddance Mars in Retrograde!!!! My furnace at work has returned to normal, my laptop is working again, the dogs haven't destroyed the house lately and I didn't die at CrossFit this morning. Life is looking up. Now it's time to boost those earnings.
