Went to the tide pools at Cabrillo National Monument in San Diego last weekend. Saw a LOT of striped shore crabs, many of whom were nestled in what looked like a cliffside hotel on the rocks. The rock had a bunch of holes and crab-sized caves, making it the perfect little seaside retreat for a crustacean 🦀

This one woulda been cool if it was in focus. But DEAL WITH IT, I'm showing it to you anyway.

Welcotchi Designed After Asaki Murakami's Welsh Corgi

We love hearing stories of how Tamagotchi characters come to life. At the 2024 San Diego Comic-Con “Fun With Tamagotchi” panel. Asaki Murakami, Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America, Tamagotchi Product Development revealed something big!

Asaki reveled that she helped design the character Welcotchi after her own Welsh Corgi dog named Pants! How adorable is that? There was even a slide where you can see Pants!
