Palestinian child rescued from under the rubble after being trapped for nine days.
Children's bodies are smaller, they need constant nutrition to maintain health. This is the fastest rate of malnourishment in history. Ceasefire NOW. FEED PALESTINE 🇵🇸 NOW
This starts today, 19th February 2024 and continues until Next Monday 26th February 2024. See times below, they will all be streamed everyday live here or here on Al Jazeera Live
"The International Court of Justice in The Hague will hear from 52 countries and three organisations on the legal consequences of Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem since 1967." from Al Jazeera English, 19/Feb/2024:
let's remember that capitalism will never benefit queer people, as it is a system that will always prioritize profit over people.
Let's remember that corporate pride isn't real pride, that companies literally just see us as consumers and nothing more, that they don't care about our rights.
Let's support small buisnesses, small content creators, small writers and artists and musicians who make really queer and really good stuff, and who stand up against injustice.
Let's continue to boycott big brands for our palestinian, uyghur and congolese brothers and sisters.
Let our humanity guide us instead of the need to buy and fall into the capitalist trap of thinking that someone belongs more because they can buy more.
Please, boycott corporate pride and choose decolonisation this month.
Remember, liberals will always care more about civility and politeness than about you and your kids being alive. This isn't just about the ongoing genocide in Palestine by Israel. Exact same goes for climate change, colonial oppression, pollution, etc. They'll always put order first, no matter how much they claim to value freedom. Docility and a weird, contrived sense of moral superiority are their highest values. Never try to appease them, stay radical.
If you haven't heard by now, Bethlehem has canceled its annual Christmas celebrations this year due to the tragedies in Gaza.
Bethlehem is located in the occupied West Bank and one of the churches has a baby Jesus doll in a pile of rubble, to represent what the people in Gaza are going through.
As a Christian, this makes me very sad. Christmas is arguably one of the most important days in my religion, and seeing that Bethlehem, the literal birthplace of Jesus, has canceled their Christmas celebrations makes me very sad.
While I get to spend my Christmas safe and with family, Christians in the West Bank are overshadowed by the pain and sadness of their fellow Palestinians in Gaza. Christians in Gaza likely have no more family to spend Christmas with.
If you are religious and you happen to celebrate Christmas, remember to pray for our brothers and sisters in Palestine. Pray that they can find whatever joy they can in this time and pray that the light of God can find them and bring them hope.
In a huge blow, Intel has cancelled its $15 billion investment in Kiray Gat in 'Israel', a settlement built upon land of displaced Palestinians. Except it wasn't due to BDS pressure, they're still keeping a $10 billion factory, it was due to rockets of Hamas and Hezbollah. Decolonization in action.
I unapologetically support the right of the Palestinian peoples, and all peoples worldwide, to live in their traditional lands, free from the domination and control of colonial powers like Israel and with the freedom and independence that comes with complete, democratic self-governance.
“It’s a settler colony, and none of this is about Muslims or Jews because there are Palestinian Jews, Palestinian Christians, Palestinian Muslims, Palestinian Atheists. It don’t matter about that…its a decolonization effort; that’s all it is.”
"Decolonization is not a metaphor. Free Palestine" from essad_48, 17/Feb/2024:
