The Joker's Twisted Masquerade - A Batman story

The night was as dark and foreboding as the cowl that concealed the face of the city's vigilante protector. High above the streets of Gotham, perched atop the gargoyle-adorned spires of a towering skyscraper, the caped crusader known as Batman kept a watchful eye over his domain. His keen senses were constantly alert, scanning the shadowy landscape for any sign of the criminal element that threatened to consume this once-great metropolis. And on this particular evening, the Dark Knight's instincts were on high alert, for he sensed a disturbance in the air - a disturbance that could only mean one thing. The Joker was up to his old tricks. With a fluid grace, Batman launched himself from the rooftop, his cape billowing behind him as he descended rapidly towards the source of the commotion. As he drew closer, the cacophony of screams and laughter grew ever louder, echoing through the narrow alleyways and casting an unsettling pall over the entire neighborhood. Arriving at the grand Gotham Opera House, the Dark Knight's suspicions were confirmed. A large crowd had gathered outside the ornate building, their faces obscured by a dizzying array of garish masks and costumes. At the center of this twisted masquerade stood the Joker himself, his painted features contorted in a manic grin as he reveled in the chaos he had unleashed. "Ah, the Bat has arrived!" the clown prince of crime cackled, his voice dripping with malevolent glee. "Welcome to my little party, where the only rule is to have a simply marvelous time! "Batman's eyes narrowed to slits as he surveyed the scene, his mind racing to formulate a plan of attack. He knew he had to stop the Joker's twisted scheme before it was too late, but the lives of the innocent civilians were at stake. Justice League Secret Origins: November 17 2001

The most well-adjusted and also probably the most depressed Olivia????

So I decided to do a whole multiverse thing with both Olivia and Alyssa where they both have multiple counterparts in different universes and guess what my evil smooth caveman monkey brain created???

An Arrowverse counterpart for Olivia!!!

(friendly reminder that I AM the mayor of Yappersville, so major yapping below the cut lmao. Dip out now if you don't wanna read like 50 paragraphs about my lame ass crossover lol)

This version of Olivia is the same age as Charles Xavier and still has her and him having been married. It also takes place within the revised timeline because I'm an evil little freak and love making everything okay because I'll rip my own skin off if I have to accept the original timeline as canon. (Dark Phoenix never happened, are you fucking crazy????)

Anyways, Olivia and Charles meet in 1952, get married in 1954 and have a child in 1956 all because I'm mentally ill and desire to have them be happy!!!! ONLY THEY'RE NOT BECAUSE I'M EVIL.

Come 1983, Olivia is abducted and forced into the Weapon X Program, surprise surprise. When she gets out in 1985 because unfortunately it was difficult for anybody to track her, she's a very changed woman. Who was once a very normal young woman who sure, had weird phobias (monophobia aka the fear of isolation and agoraphobia) but had the same hopes and dreams as Charles did, was now a shell. Paranoid, scared, and bitter, Olivia was the one who proposes the divorce because she's so convinced she doesn't deserve love and happiness due to what they had done to her and Charles is powerless to change her mind, so they get divorced.

By 2014, Olivia moved to Central City as the former Weapon X program had been permanently shut down by her (she killed the entire team including Stryker because her reaction to the adamantium procedure was so severe and intense that nobody could control or even stop her... it was a bloodbath and the main contributor to why she doesn't believe she deserves love because she's a murderer now) and now Hydra is after her because they experimented on Laura (who is still very much her full-blooded sister, y'all can't take that from me I'll bite) and she was also very difficult to control.

Anyways, the Particle Accelerator explodes and when the newly formed Team Flash hears of a supposed Metahuman causing problems in Central City because Liv got pissed at some bitchass Karen and nearly attacked her(honestly, who blames her?), Flash goes after her and quickly learns that not only is she a natural mutation (minus the adamantium obvs) but also that she's not even a threat, he manages to convince her to join the team and she only does so when Harrison Wells (who's actually SPOILER Eobard Thawne obvs) assures her that he can make sure that Charles and the school will be protected from Hydra.

Thus the new era of The Badger is reborn and Liv puts on her uniform after years of not having worn it. She also becomes sorta like a surrogate mother to Barry (or surrogate granny as Cisco obviously will never get over how Olivia is in her 80's despite physically looking to be in her 30s) and they become very close in a familial sense. Also through Barry, Olivia is able to reconnect not only with Charles but also her own son, who ends up joining Team Flash due to having his father's insane intelligence, thus making him an excellent addition to the team of already really smart people.

Anyways; there's a universe now in the m00nz multiverse where Olivia is a divorced mom with a 60 year old mutant son who also looks young because he got his mom's insane regenerative healing so he looks like he's only in his 20s. He also has Charles' telepathy, though it's nowhere NEAR as strong as his father's. He's mostly just able to heal really fast, so he's just the guy in the chair 95% of the time.

(p.s. unfortunately Olivia and Charles do not get back together sadly. Charles wants Olivia to move on and find someone else who can aid her in healing that that somebody is that bastard Earth-2 Harry, because they're both cunts who bond over trauma!!!!! :D)
